What does "Add People" do?

I coverted my Elements 10 Catalog to Elements 11 recently and have been trying to continue identifying faces in my images. Since there is no Tag setting for people I guess I am forced to use the "People" features built in but I cannot figure out just how it is supposed to work. My collection of images is over 15000. Many of the folders contain images with people in them. Some have been previously tagged with names and many do not. When I run that feature on the full collection it seems to show a working or busy circle icon and a bar graph but it never gets beyond zero. When I select a single folder it acts more like I would expect reviewing the images in the folder but it never finds any faces that are not tagged yet when I manually review the folder I can find them. What am I doing wrong? Is it possibly tied into the fact that I converted my catalog? If there is nothing wrong other than the way I am using it, can someone explain the best work flow for these tasks.

I went to the Tag section and scrolled down to where I could not see on the screen and realized what happened. The tags are there. Thanks Barbara, this helps a lot.

Have selected a sub set of photo's with many people in the photo's. When I then go to the bottom of the page and hit "add people" .. it goes thru and say none to add. Yet there are plenty of people in the photo's to add. What am i doing wrong?

if it's a message coming from your yahoo account, it means that your account has been compromised, not your phone itself. i would suggest changing the password for your email account

What do you mean it comes up and stops you?
No you don't need Genius. If it's just an extra feature of the device.
Looking for a bit more detail as to what is happening and what you are doing to make it happen.

hello ronalds173, this means that the extension will be active as soon as you install it with no need to restart the browser - this only affects the first launch experience (and when you uninstall an addon again).

If it isn't from something you did (like update iOS on an iPhone, or activate a new iPhone), then yes, I would be suspicious.

Nothing. The 2nd Gen Touch is OBSOLETE and is WAY past its support life. If you want to run the newer apps you have to buy a newer iPod.

Unfortunately, most of my advice is in the "hindsight is 20-20" category.
First off, I would never have purchased the peripheral accessories until the 14 day return period had expired. Second, you learned the hard way what the "14 days" really means.
Too bad you didn't do any homework, reading this and other forums and tech sites. Even word of mouth from others. That, more than anything could have steered you towards different phone choices from the get-go and I will leave that there with no further comment other than to say most of the issues you described have been discussed in this forum, ad nauseam.
Once you got into the refurbished phone exchanges, that is where things really went haywire. What someone tells you over the phone is a sketchy proposition, and when it comes down to it, it's your word against theirs.
I think Verizon tried to make it right, though. Remember, they don't make the phones. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Check which calendar you are trying it put this event on, then put it on the correct one.

IPhoto stopped recognizing faces and won't even let me add people/faces manually. What now?

Nothing specific happend. The "Search people" button stays grey and if I try to add people/faces I can write there names in the box but iPhoto won't keep the information. Means: it doesn't add the photos to a person's picture collection neither does it create a new person.
I am kinda scrwed because I need it for work and started using it and halfway-through it just stopped doing anything.
I restarted the MacBook, iPhoto,.. but nothing helps.
is this a common problem?
How can I fix it?

As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

If it's a fourth generation or earlier model, you need to download iTunes 10.6.3; the newer versions won't run on 10.5.8.
If it's a fifth generation iPod touch, you need to buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD, which requires an Intel Mac, and then run Software Update. This also works with earlier iPods but isn't the best solution.

Hi there, no I didn't. I hadn't done anything. Just turned it on up came the message.

What does the "add more sounds" in app purchase cost in GarageBand?

I ask because there is no indication of the cost when Apple asks for my ID and Password. In IOS completing that would mean I own it.
