What does Blackberry ID sync?

I found this in the Blackberry ID help documentation. It is very sparse and does not detail the function of Blackberry ID. Nevertheless, here is an excerpt.
"With BBM 7.0 or later, your BBM contacts, profile, and group memberships are automatically backed up over the wireless network, and are associated with your BlackBerry ID. When you switch devices, your BBM contacts, profile, and group memberships are automatically added to your new device when you sign in using your BlackBerry ID."
Is there documentation somewhere that explains exactly what your Blackberrry ID "backups" and what it does with the personal information on your OS 10 device? We are a business and do not want to have anything being downloaded off of our devices or "backed up" without our knowledge. I was unable to find any documentation on Blackberry ID other than what is minimally explained in the topic's help section located on this website.

On your BlackBerry10 device, nothing but your BBMessenger contacts, group memberships and profile are backed up to servers, that I know of.
No address book contacts, mail, messages, or anything.

I frequently get a little thing popping up on my screen, saying Apple Mobile Sync wants access to my several e-mail account passwords.
I have never used and am not likely ever to use MobileMe. I do use an iPhone.
Does Apple Mobile Sync participate in keeping my iPhone and Mail accounts synced, such that I should be giving it access to those keychains? Or is it a MobileMe-only, otherwise-useless appendage?

From your Apple menu click System Preferences. If you see an icon like this: in the System Preferences pane, then you have a MobileMe account. If you choose not sync via MobileMe, click the MobileMe icon in the System Preferences pane. Select the Sync tab.
Deselect: Synchronize with MobileMe
If necessary, you can cancel the MobileMe account. Click here: http://www.apple.com/support/mobileme/

What does the mail sync option do?

Ok, so I have a MacBook Pro on Leopard. In iTunes i have the option to sync my mail (I use Gmail and .Mac) with my iPhone. Well, I'm running my iPhone and Apple Mail on IMAP on both Gmail and .Mac. so what exactly does this sync option do for me? I'm already synced since its IMAP. Am I missing something, or is that sync option only useful for those running POP?
And its disabled at the moment, in case you were wondering.
PS - IMAP Gmail on iPhone rocks.

I can change the time period for which Reminders will sync. But I can't identify what reminders is syncing with. What is the source?

They are syncing to iCloud.com. That is the hub.

I would also like to know exactly what is saved by the Link Backup & Restore process when only the "Settings" option is chosen.

What Does This Color Sync Profile First Aid Log Mean??

I have been helping a friend trouble shoot some printing problems he is having with iPhoto. In the process, he ran verify in Profile First Aid in Color Sync. He got some errors and asked me to run mine. Here is my result:

I am having no problems with color output when printing (that I know of). He has been having color balance and other problems printing from iPhoto. My errors are the exact same as his in this Profile First Aid Log. What is the significance of these errors? Should they be repaired?

Hi Steve,
The problem is something else.
This report is showing you there are 5 profile out of 929 that your OS doesn't agree with for whatever reason.
Your friends issue is different than yours (yours works fine & his doesn't), this report has the same info in it because it's looking at the same profiles installed in the OS.
How the profiles are applied depends on the output device, paper, inks, yadda-yadda-ya.
Do not try to repair the ICC's, as they're most likely just fine. You should be able to find suitable results in one of the other 924 profiles, even if that was the issue.
Look for something different between your setups.
We're happy to help, but we need to know more about how the user is trying to print when the errors occur.
Applications, driver versions, printer, color space, etc.

I have spent hours upon hours trying to figure out what is wrong and why I cannot complete a hot sync with my computer. I have done a hard reset and reinstalled the palm desktop software numerous times with no luck. I bought a book on the palm. No mention in the book about this particular problem.
Can anyone out there help me with this problem??? I would be forever grateful!!

To check which applications are installed on your palm, you can click on the home button on your palm and make sure it says "all" on the top right of your screen. This will show you all the apps installed on your palm. Look through all the applications listed there and see if there is anything extra. You can list them here and I will tell you if there is anything that didnt come with your device when you purchased it.
You will not need the palm cd to reinstall everything again after you do a hard reset because all the info will be backed up on your computer from your sync. You stated that all the information is on your computer after you sync'd so you dont have to worry about losing it. Once you sync again after performing the hard reset, you will be able to get all the info back again on your palm.

What does iCloud Mail Syncing accomplish?

I have one Mac desktop and two laptops, plus an iPhone & iPad. I use use IMAP with my Gmail account and forward my "iCloud" mail to my Gmail account. I am using OS X 10.9.3. It seems the IMAP features keep the mail "synchronized" on each device. I thought iCloud sync may sync smart mailboxes across the devices, but I can't seem to create smart mailboxes that persist (separate discussion topic).
Since I can't seem to use smart mailboxes, is there any reason to sync mail through iCloud? What is it supposed to do?

That make sense, but still somewhat confused. I have found other threads that discuss syncing smart mailboxes across Macs (not sure about iOS devices).

There are data files in the Library that suggest smart mailbox syncing such as:
~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/SyncedSmartMailboxes.plist
~/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~mail/Data/MailData/ubiquitous_SyncedSmartMailboxes.plist
I kind of assumed that "System Preferences --> iCloud --> Mail" allowed that sync tooccur (?).
Of course, I still can't create smart mailboxes anyway due to my other issue described in
https://discussions.apple.com/message/26116959#26116959, so it is kind of moot until I resolve that issue.

What does the Smugmug "Sync Photos" checkbox do, exactly?

LR 4 help has no listing for Publich to Smugmug. I have a lot of photos in LR and on Smugmug, but not all of them have been placed in my smugmug galleries via LR. I cant' afford to have unanticipated results in my clients smugmug galleries if I run this sync.

For each type conversion there is specific operation. In your case The VI sets the destination value to the average of the three color components of the source.

i normally shop on my ipod touch (because frankly i cant be bothered to plug it into itunes then shop! ) to shop for apps and song and etc. and because i have a wall charger in my room theres pratically no need to go the computer! so sometimes when im on the computer i want to use my ipod touch as well so i charge it on the pc.

The problem is with version 10.4.1. I had to reload 10.3 to get it to work. The recommendation from a previous poster worked for me. Here was their list of steps:
Go to Control Panel>Programs>Uninstall
2. Uninstall the following Apple programs in the following order:
     a. iTunes
     b. QuickTime
     c. Apple Software Update
     d. Apple Mobile Devices Support
     e. Bonjour
     f. Apple Appllcation Support
3. Reboot PC
4. Find, Download and Install iTunes 10.3 (you can find it at FileHippo.com)
If you start iTunes now you will get an error message saying that the current iTunes library was created by a newer version of iTunes. To correct this:
5. Go to your Music>iTunes folder and delete the "iTunes Library.itl" database file
6. Within this iTunes folder find and open the "Previous iTunes Libraries" folder and locate the most recently dated "iTunes Library (date).itl" database file.
7. Copy and Paste this file back into the iTunes folder
8. Rename this "iTunes Library (date).itl" file by removing the date. It should say "iTunes Library.itl"
9. Reboot PC
