What does check with support?

Ok I put my card in iTunes and then it told to check with apple support.

Are you sure it doesn't say "contact" itunes support?
This means exactly what it says.  You need to contact itunes support.

  • What does CHECK SY_SUBRC do?

    Hi,
Simple question, but what does CHECK SY_SUBRC do exactly?  If the code is
    CHECK sy-subrc = 0
Will this abort the program if sy-subrc is NOT equal to 0?
    Thanks

    Hi Joe,
Here are answers to your questions.
What does CHECK SY_SUBRC do exactly? If the code is
    CHECK sy-subrc = 0
Answer :  If your SY-SUBRC value is zero,  program continue with subsequent program lines.
If your CHECK statement is defined in the LOOP construct,  you will continue with the loop
When your SY-SUBRC is not equal to 0,  if you are inside LOOP construct,  particular loop
                   iteration will be skipped.
If your CHECK statement is inside a subroutine,  execution of the subroutine will be halted and
logic returns to the calling program logic.
Hope this will answer your doubt on CHECK statement and SUBRC values.
    Regards
    Krishna

what does checking mail manually mean on a macbook air, how is it done?

In Mail's preferences click on the General icon in the toolbar. Here you can set Mail to automatically check for mail Manually.
Then to check for mail you would have to click on the Get Mail icon in the mail browser window:
which is the icon that looks like an envelope.

'''Firefox Sync''' is a browser synchronizer "system" which allows users to keep their Firefox web browser configured in the same way on different computers, devices, and operating systems. For instance, if a user adds a bookmark while being at home, the bookmark will be available the day after at office; along with many other types of personal data.

  • What does time zone support do on iCloud? Should I leave it off or turn it on?

I find time zone support to be one of the most confusing things Apple does.
If I travel from Chicago to Florida (Central to Eastern time) my appointment times change on the Mac.
I'm not sure what they will do on the iPhone,
and really, what does it do in iCloud? It is an advanced option as I found out when all my Chicago appointments showed up two hours earlier in the cloud.
I changed to Central time, using the instructions on iCloud, but what is the value of time zone support there? The Apple server is not moving when I travel. Should I just leave it turned off?

they are not always on the same time due to daytime saving time changes twice a year in Israel which are not syncronized with any changes in Gaza, Beirut, etc.

  • Help! what does battery with ! mean?

I connect my ipod mini to the computer and the battery with the '!' mark shows up and nothing happens. I read a link someone sent in response to the same question and it still did not answer my question.
I use the same cable and connect another iPod, a nano, and it works perfectly...same computer, same cable...just when my mini is connected...the battery with '!' symbol.
What does this mean? Can anyone help me?

  • What does "check for available downloads" do?

I bought some movies on my iPad while at work today.  I didn't have enough space on the iPad so I checked "later" when the option came up about downloading now or later.  When I got home, I saw that iTunes was showing the movie in my library with the cloud icon in the upper right corner, meaning that I own this movie but have not yet downloaded it.  I thought clicking on "check for available downloads" from the Store menu would locate the purchased movies and download them, but instead I get the message "all purchases have been downloaded for this apple ID" (see image below).  So I had to manually fish through the library and locate the purchased movies and click on the cloud icons to start them downloading.
So if "check for available downloads" doesn't do what it sounds like it should, what is it for?
I have the latest version of iTunes: 11.4.0.18

I thought I'd bump my own thread since it's three months later and iTunes is now at version 12 and the "check for available downloads" still does nothing.  I am subscribed to a season pass of American Horror Story and every week I get an email saying that a new episode is available for download.  But when I launch iTunes and click on "check for available downloads", nothing happens.
    Que sera, sera.

  • What does checking "hide" do in login items?

The list of programs in my Login Items has a checkbox to the left of it that says "hide".  What happens if it is checked?  I checked it for one program I'd like to not see windows from (it does a "background" task), but on startup it still shows its main window and shows up in the dock. Is that not what this is for?
    thanks,
    Mike

Thomas is correct about what the Hide parameter does for startup items. But the specific application you are using "Simon" also has the option to automatically hide the Simon Monitor window. With this option set, Simon will display the monitor window until you do anything else. Start an app, click on the desktop, move a window, it doesn't matter, as soon as you do something outside of the Simon monitor window, the window will close.
I find this very useful, since I can see the current results of Simon when the desktop loads, and then have it go away as soon as I start doing some work.

  • In the File menu, what does Check In do? Liquify issue too!

    Hiya,
Just wondering what "Check In..." does?  and if it's going to be something  I need for my work flow.  I'm currently making a new skin for a mesh and wish there was a faster way to update things.  Looked on the On line help but when searching for "Check In..." it doesn't return anything of use!
Love the Liquify filter but last night I was working away on my file, envoked the Liquify filter and couldn't get it to work all of a sudden.  It would let me "revert" all that I had done but the zoom tool stayed in command.  I looked and saw the brush tool was selected but the zoom tool was in command.  The OK button was grayed out so I had to force Photoshop to quit and lost work.
There was one other thing but I can't remember it off hand..
    Thanks for the help
    Richard ;-)~

Probably a sticky Ctrl key!  Bang it a few times.

  • YouTube - What Does ATV2 Actually Support or Not?

Does Apple have a list anywhere of what it does and does not support from YouTube on the ATV2? Does anyone here know for sure?
Playlists are out. I can't see my prior favorites, but I could save new search results to favorites (it looks as if the ATV2 has its own favorites separate from existing ones) -- then the ATV2 stopped saving new searches to favorites. It repeatedly gives me a "trouble contacting YouTube" error dialog, even though it is streaming video. Is it possible there is a limit, and a very low limit at that, on number of videos that can be saved to "favorites"?
"My videos" doesn't seem to be there.
Search results are different than on the Mac itself, which is weird, but not a killer.
YouTube video appears to be rendered slightly better than on the original ATV1, by the way.

access to youtube is very much reliant on google/youtube not changing anything server-side.
however there are some limitations which have always been there (and are not necessarily the fault of apple).
    1) not ever youtube video is made available to appletv (for several reasons). the uploaded can easily opt out of syndication which means the video can only be viewed on the website.
    2) videos have to be converted by google/youtube before they are available to appletv/iphone etc.
if google/youtube happen to change something server-side it means that apple need to update the software before functionality is corrected.

  • What does Airport Express Support

I have been researching the airport express and i have heard that people have connected their xbox to it and of course the printer and stereo, but I would also like to plug in a hard drive with a powered usb hub. Does anyone have a setup like this or any advise?

    The +*Airport Express*+ supports a printer, but not a disk: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB321LL/A/AirPort-Express-AirTunes?fnode=MTY1N DA0Mg&mco=MTA4NTc4MTE
You may want the +*Airport Extreme,+* which supports a printer and/or external HDs (but not Time Machine backups): http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC340LL/A/AirPort-Extreme?fnode=MTY1NDA0Mg&mco =MTMzNzU2NDk
