What does 'condition inactive' mean? Thanks in advance!

Hi,  This question has puzzled me many days, but still no answer. Any one can help me ? Many many thanks!!
In SAP GUI, under item conditions tab, there is a column 'Exception' with traffic lights.
Three kinds of tracffic lights are avaible in this column, red, green, and Amber Light.
The explantion of F1 help is not so clearly. My questiones are:
1. If a condition type is with 'amber light', what does that mean?
2. If a condition type is with 'green light', what does that mean?
3. If a condition type is with 'red  light', what does that mean?
4. If a condition type is inactive, How can I know why this condition type is 'inactive'?
Thanks soooooo much!!

Hedy

Hi,
Condition inactive means, condition is not active in that particular transaction.
The meaning for traffic lights is
Red: Condition Contains errors, which has to be rectified before saving.
Green: Condition is active in the transaction and the prices are taken into consideration.
Amber: Condition is inactive on various reasons (for e.g., due to subsequent price)
If a condition is inactive, the tool tip in Web UI shows the reason. But in SAP GUI, We need to go through the pricing procedure.

  • What does this message mean? : "The file name "DSC_0088.jpg" is offline or missing." ?

What does this message mean? : "The file name "DSC_0088.jpg" is offline or missing."   I am in the process of importing photos from iPhoto (don't really know what I'm doing....) and when I look at one of the imported photos that message pops up.  I know what "DSC_0088.jpg" is.  I don't know what it means that the file is "missing".

    CASpyr,
Thank you so much for your reply.  I have a couple of bigger issues that I am dealing with: too many photos on my laptop: 40,000! (Of course I have to throw away many of them, but that is time consuming). I have a MacBook Pro and have primarily used IPhoto. I have recently purchased 2 external drives and have transferred my photos to those, but I need a basic education about how photos are stored, copied, etc.  I have recently been told that iPhoto only shows and deals with jpegs, not RAW.  About 1/3 of my photos are RAW, so I purchased Lightroom, so I could do more with those RAW photos.  I have been told by my local Mac store that I need to delete most of my photos from iPhoto, because it's causing problems.  I am reluctant to do so until I am sure that all of the keywords, descriptions and editing I have done to these photos is not lost when deleted from iPhoto. I just watched a tutorial about importing to Lightroom and got out of it that I needed to copy photos from iPhoto to a file on my desktop and then copy to Lightroom.  I did that, it seemed to work.  Then (because of my storage/memory issues) I deleted the photos (just a few as an experiment) from that desktop file.  I'm guessing that is why Lightroom doesn't recognize the the photos.  It seems that (learned from another tutorial) that one uses "Add" , Lightroom is only connecting to the source of the photo, not  actually copying it to the program.  Sounds like I need to use the "Move" feature instead.  My ultimate goal is to store the photos on the 2 external drives and eliminate most of them from my lapop.  So my basic questions have to do with what data (metadata??) is copied from iPhoto to an external drive (RAW???) and what isn't copied. Basic understanding issues, obviously….  I hope this isn't too much to ask.  If you can recommend a book or resource that can explain those basic issues to me I'd appreciate it.  I just got back from a trip and I can't download my new photos until I manage the rest!
    Thanks,
    Nancy

  • What does the "S" mean in reference to lenses? EF-S vs EF lens?

I have both a digital camera, the 60D, and recently acquired an EOS 1N 35mm film camera.  I have bought lenses for my 60D but not the 1N film camera....was told that my 18-55mm lens for my 60D would not be interchangeable with the 1N?  So, EF-S vs EF lens, what is the S and what does it indicate?   What does the "S" mean in reference to lenses?  EF-S vs EF lens?
Thanks.....I am just getting started in photography and do not know all the different terms....
    James

In the simlpest of terms think of the S as standing for SMALL sensor. The sensor in crop bodies is much smaller in physical size than the area your film camera needs covering with when the shutter opens. An EF S lens won't allow light to cover the full area in the film or FF body. This allows smaller & cheaper lenses but at the expense of limiting their use.

  • Can anyone explain what a condition type means in pricing.

    Hi,
Can anyone explain what a condition type means in pricing. And how to create condition type and how it effects Pricing conditions.
As I am new to this area. Detailed explanation is highly appreciated.
    Thanks a lot,
    Rasheed

    Hello Rasheed,
Below mentioned are the few important things related to pricing.
    - You first define Condition Tables .
    - Define Access Sequence and assign condition tables to it.
    - Define Condition Type and assign Access Sequence to it.
    - Now define Pricing Procedure and assign Condition Type to it.
    - Now you define Pricing Procedure Determination using Sales Org, Distribution    Channel ,Division,Document  Pricing Procedure and Customer Pricing Procedure which are the key fields.
The above steps can be done in SPRO.
-Now maintain the Condition Records(for eg:For the specific material what is the cost or for a specific customer what is the cost of the specific material etc) using Txn:VK11.
    - Once you maintain the Condition Records , you can reflect the same values in Condition Type in SPRO.
Hope this information is helpful for you to relate Condition Type in Pricing,
Please reward with points if this information is helpful for you.
    Regards,
    Shanthala.

It sounds like the previous owner has enabled a password on it. The first thing you can try is in this article:

  • What does "Owners Enabled" mean in Disk Utility

    Hi -
Not an emergency - I'm not having any issues at this time - but a matter of curiosity.
I have 5 Firewire drives hooked into my G5 and only the main HD and the Time Machine drive say "Yes" next to "Owners Enabled" in Disk Util. The other externals indicate "No". What does Owners Enabled mean. should I endeavor to make them all to say Yes?
    Thanks,

Check out this older thread for more help and information. It should be able to answer your questions. Basically it has to do with permissions and whether or not they are enabled on a particular volume or not.

  • What does invoice reversal mean in Oracle payables

What does invoice reversal mean in Oracle payables?
In the AP_invoice_Distributions_All table, there is a column Reversal_Flag. What does this mean to an invoice.
    Thank you

    Hi,
    1) When a reversal is done to a distribution line, it does not create a new invoice. Isnt it? No it does not.
    2) When a line is reversed, the original line Reversal_FLag column is changed to Y and the new column has a Reversal_Flag column as NULL as this is >the new line.
( I mean the line which had the mistake, now has a Y flag on Reversal_Flag and the new corrected line has a NULL value). Is this thinking right? Yes, you are.
    3) Lets suppose, Line 1 had a mistake, and it was reversed, and line 2 was created. And then we realized that Line 2 also has a mistake, and >reversed it to Line 3. So what are the statuses of LIne1, Line 2 and Line3 in the Reversal_Flag column in AP_Invoice_Distributions_all table?Line 1=Reversed (Yes)
    Line 2=Reversed (yes)
    Line 3=Null
