What does error -1202 try again later mean?

cannot purchase music for my ipod since getting it last feb/12.  each time i try i get a error -1202 try again later message.  apple support was of no help.  does anyone else have this problem and do you have any suggestions as to what is causing this?  it is a ipod nano.  if i use someone elses apple laptop there is no problem.  i am using a HP Windows Vista.  ty.

    I have this same problem. It's like it is not Authorizing this Mac.
    What happens when you try to listen to a preview on the Music Store?
    Mine asks me to authorize again and gives me the error exactly as you said above.
    What happens when you try to view your account information (in Music Store, click on your account name in the top right corner)?
    Mine lets me authorize sucessfully and shows me my account information.
    I have emailed iTunes support about this and they replied with a generic answer about Deauthorizing and re-authorizing the computer.
    I even tried, to no avail, the tips here...

        5.    There may be third-party software installed that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting one or more TcpWindowSize entries into your registry. Your default packet size being set incorrectly can cause this error. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet-size modification for assistance. Or, follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to reset the packet size back to the default for Windows.

    in my environment i can send/receive mail.
    When doing some checks i will end up with this error :
    451 4.7.0 temporary server error. please try again later. prx4
    I have tried the following without results :
    Exchange 2013 SMTP error "451 4.7.0 Temporary server error. Please try again later. PRX3"
    This error message seems to be caused by DNS issues in the Exchange 2013 set up. Exchange then rejects all emails like this. It is not quite clear what Microsoft means with this error code and the various PRX-numbers at the end - we've also seen PRX1, PRX3,
    PRX7. There is no list and no documentation on them available.
    From customer feedback we found these ways to solve the problem:
    Disable all unused network cards.
    Check all DNS server entries in the configuration of your network cards (check
    all network adapters) and make sure not to reference server 127.0.0.1 as DNS server but to use the real IP address instead.
    If you have more than one fixed IP address in the server add an entry for each IP address in the hosts file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts) formatted like "192.168.1.1 SERVERNAME".
    Important: Do load the latest Exchange 2013 updates, especially CU1 if you haven't done that already.
    Please delete the receive connectors in Exchange and create one new receive connector. Use the "front end" instead of "hub transport" setting and vice versa.

    When configuring my work Exchange account on my cell, I can't establish a connection to the server (I think). It attempts to connect and says it's connected, but no messages are displayed. In place is just (no messages). If I go to that mailbox's Mailbox Settings and hit Options -> View log, I get the follow info:
    Time: <time>
    Status: System error. Try again later.
    Is there another log file somewhere on the phone that will give a more detailed description of what's happening than this file does? Or does anyone know what could be causing my issue? The info I'm using for the Exchange server details came from our IT department, and a fair number of Blackberries are used successfully by our employees with the same connection info the IT department gave me.

    I rented two movies on my apple TV 2nd gen. and they won't play.
    When we try to play them it tries to load it and then says there is a loading error and try again later, but it never works.

    I can't update my phone and I AM using the latest update of Itunes AND have restarted computer and followed everything.  I'm to the point of booking an app't with the genius bar because I'm finding apples instructions and this latest update to be a complete waste of time.

    For the few days i have had problems trying to sign in to OVI Store. I enter my user name and password and after a minute or so the message "Network Error - Please Try Again Later". I don't have any problems browsing OVI Store but obviousily i cannot download any apps. as i can't sign in. I have tried using both my WI-FI y network provider and neither works. After that i updated OVI Store to the newest version but its exactly the same. Any ideas anyone?

    Hi all, i have a nokia C2 which i have been using for months now with my pop3 email account with no problems at all.  The other day the phone received a software update and since then the email account was removed.  Now when i try to setup the POP3 account again, i put the correct server information in and all i get coming back is 'Unexpected error.  Try again later'
    i've also tried setting it up with an alternate test pop3 account, and i get the same message.
    Internet is working fine on the phone, and i tried setting up my GMAIL account which worked OK.
    why has this phone update broken my pop3 email access?

    Welcome to Nokia discussions board!
    In order to fix this issue, I advise you to back up your data using Nokia Suite > connect device to PC and on Nokia Suite go to Tools Back up. Then once all your data is backed up, perform a hard reset: type *#7370# on the keypad. The default lock code is 12345. 
    Also, you may reinstall the software via the software updates tab in Nokia Suite. 
    Let us know how you get on and feel free to post any other questions you may have.

    On my server/phone this error was fixed by changing over to a NON secure connection both on the phone profile and on the server.     I have found the solution for my Nokia E50 (RM-170, V06.41.3.0, 24-10-2006). Operator: Life (Ukraine). Mail For Exchange 1.5.0 (for E-series).
    The following error appeared before in admin_log1.txt: 372 Unable to establish a tunnel. The phone displayed the message: Connection Error. Try again later.
    To resolve that I have removed proxy server use in my connection settings: Menu>Tools>Settings>Connection>Access Points. Choose "My Internet connection", Options>Advanced settings: Proxy serv. address - None, Proxy port number - 0. After that synchronization works fine.
    So, M4E just doesn't know how to go thru a proxy in contrast to RoadSync. Probably it's not a severe fault, but it is vexatious issue that needs to be fixed in next releases.

    iTunes Support wasn't of any use to me.
    I have also been having another problem - with BBC iPlayer and other video streaming not working due to insufficient bandwidth, despite my overall download speed being consistently around 50Gb.  This is also affecting AppleTV downloads
    I am using Virgin Media as my ISP, and was wondering whether you do as well.  This might be the common thread.
