What does error message 150:30 in Photoshop Elements 8 mean?

I have adobe photoshop elements 8 and, out of the blue, I get a message stating that I need to reboot for it to work. I reboot and it still doesn't work. Then there is an Error message 150:30 exhibited on the page. Adobe is too irresponsible to simply tell me what the error message means or provide a list for it, at least one I can find so I thought I'd solicit the good graces of other for help since help from Adobe is simply a shakedown for money due to their negligence and failure to support their products.

What's your OS?  If you are on a Mac then try this Adobe Official Solution:

Hope this gets you started.

Having installed an upgrade for Photoshop Elements 13, I cannot open the application. I get an error message saying "Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and OS X".
I have since uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but get the same error message.

Which version of OS X do you have? It's not clear from your post whether "installed an upgrade" means you just installed PSE 13 as an upgrade or you installed an update to PSE 13, like ACR 9 or 13.1. Please clarify.

  • What does error code 150:30 indicate in Photoshop Elements?

Recently I downloaded a driver tuner for ATI drivers which have become inactive on my computer or outdated. Don't know if this has anything to do with this recent message in Photoshop Elements.  I tried to manage photos in Elements and got the error message 150:30 and was told to restart my computer.  I've restarted twice and given up.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks,

  • 150:30 error message with Mac photoshop elements

On my Mac, I moved my photoshop elements application to another storage drive vs. my computer drive and the system now gives me this error.  How do I fix this problem?  All my other programs work off of this drive..

You can never, never, never move an installed copy of PSE. The first thing to do is to try putting it back where it was and see if it works there. Probably won't anymore, but first try that and report back.

  • "Failed to initialize" error message when installing Photoshop Elements 12

    Hi,
I kepe getting an error message when trying to install Photoshop elements 12. I have re-downloaded the files multiple times from different places and none work so I know it isn't a corrupted file. Tried a system restart. Tried using support advisor but it found no issues.
I'm running Mac OS X 10.9 on a 2012 Macbook Pro that meets system requirements.
    Any help is greatly appreciated

I have gone through the install logs and the error I am getting is 'PIM - Error could not create PIM Common Folder Path'. I have gone to the PDApp folder and it does not have any permissions on it. I have gone to the folder PDApp and it doesn't have any permissions, I'm not sure what to do from here. The PDApp folder is a alias that leads to the Adobe Application Managers folder. Sorry for the font being bold, it wouldn't turn off after pasting the error message.

  • RAM Error Message in Adobe Photoshop Elements 9

Just bought my first mac on Friday.
I'm running Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.
I go to open a little file 500X500 and I get an error message that it cannot open it because there is not enough available RAM.
    Machine has 4G!
    Anyone know why?
    Thanks
Sorry if this is in the wrong place. This is my first visit.

    Welcome to the Forums!
It is possible that this is an error on the part of Elements, or that there really isn't enough RAM. Four GB is plenty (I use 4 on huge RAW files without issue). The only reason that you wouldn't have enough RAM is that you might have some application open that's using it all without you knowing. Here's how to check for this:
Open Activity Monitor (Applications/Utilities). At the top, set the Show menu to All Processes.
Click the Real Memory column header so that the point of the triangle is down. This will bring the processes using the most RAM to the top.
If there's one using a lot (500MB or more), quit it if you don't need to have it open (If it's something you don't know of, post the name and we'll let you know what it is).
Also, select the System Memory tab at the bottom. What are the numbers on the left (Free, Wired, etc)?
If there isn't anything using a lot of RAM, than the problem is probably in Elements. The easiest way to fix it would probably be to uninstall and reinstall it (if that's a big problem, we can look into other ways).
I've used Photoshop CS5 Extended with huge files on a MacBook with 4GB RAM; 2.4 GHz CPU without a problem (well, it was a little slow, but it worked).

  • Error message in launching Photoshop Elements 8

I downloaded the trial version of Photoshop Elements 8.  After the download is completed, I clicked on the "Launch" button.  After a few moments I receive an error message stating, "A problem occurred while extracting some files.  Check available space on your computer and the write privledges on the destination folder."
I initially dowloaded the program on my laptop's C drive.  Although I am fairly certin there is plenty of space there, the second time I downloaded the progam, I directed that the software be downloaded to my external drive where there is tons of space.  I received the identical message after attempting to Launch.
I have no idea how to check the write privledges on the destination folder.
Any ideas?  Thank you in advance.

    Hi,
It seems that the download is not happening fine. Can you please refer the below link and see if that helps in anyway to make sure that download happens successfully?

If not, i am afraid I would have to suggest you to contact the customer care and let them know that you are facing issue with download and try again in say a day or two?

  • I have downloaded Photoshop elements 5.0 to a new PC.  I recieve error message: "Your Adobe Photoshop Elements user name, organization, or serial number is missing or invalid. The application cannot continue and must now exit."

I was referred here by customer service.  I have downloaded Photoshop elements 5.0 to a new PC.  After accepting the agreement I receive an error message saying  "Your Adobe Photoshop Elements user name, organization, or serial number is missing or invalid. The application cannot continue and must now exit."  There is no place to enter the serial number.

All your pictures will remain safe even after uninstalling the program. Your pictures are saved to your system in form of catalog present at C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\Catalogs\<your catalog><br />When you reinstall the program you can open this catalog and view all your photos again.

I was using Photoshop Element 9 sending email on Windows Live Mail.
    It was working perfect.
A week ago, my computer had the problem and need to format and reinstall everything again.
After that, when I used Photoshop Element 9 to send email using Windows Live Mail 2012.
It came up error message in below:
"Elements Organizer could not finish creating your E-mail message.
Alternatively, you can use the Adobe E-mail Service via the Elements Organizer Preferences dialog."
I don't want to use Adobe E-mail Service because it is very limited for email function such as attached another files or change email contents.
Would you please give me some idea how to solve the problem ?

  • Error message 432 in Photoshop Elements 2.0

While attempting to reinstall Photoshop Elements 2.0 on a Windows XP operating system, I get an error message 432 which states, "Setup has detected that uninstallshield is in use. Please close unistallshield and restart setup." How do I do this?

You probably need to clean the registry. Press Windows+R key and type regedit command. You will get registry window. Under current user delete the adobe->Photoshop Elements registry.
IF not then you might need to use the clean registry tool to delete the old folders/files etc.

  • What does error message 2035 mean and what can I do about it?

I get a message when loading game on Facebook zoo world that says error message 2035. I don't understand what it means, what it does and how to fix it.

Sorry, that's not a Firefox error code. Mozilla uses 3 digit error codes. Try getting help with that from the creator of those Facebook games.
