What does it mean when my dvd burner does not have a disc in and randomly turns on while surf net
My HP Pavillion desktop with a HP w2207h monitor started randomly playing dvd without a dvd in it. I was just surfing the internet and it turned on spinning with no dvd or cd in it. What does this mean?
The sound you heard could be your hard drive. It makes a spinning sound like the dvd drive sometimes. Did you notice if the light on the dvd drive came on as well, if not then it was the hard drive making the noise.

My iphone 4s keeps saying it does not have enough icloud storage and icloud cannot be backed up. When I go to icloud Storage & Backup in my settings, it says that I have 5.0 GB total and 5.0 GB available. I have bought a photoshop elements and have installed it on my MacBookPro. I have just bought an iMac and what to install on this computer as well. The iMac does not have a disc drive. I have copied the file onto a remote hard drive and tried to install but it thinks I have a pirate copy. What can I do?

My Netbook that my phone is sync to does not have a cd drive and I want to put my digital copies onto it but I do not know how to, I have a laptop I can put the disks in but I don't know if it will let me copy the file to a flash drive any ideas? also I keep getting this message about updating my media player security and when i go to the site it links to the update button is greyed out and will not allow me to do it
If you import the CD on your laptop with a disc drive, then you can place the music files on a flash drive and transfer them over to your netbook. You could also choose to email the music files from the disc drive laptop to yourself to download them onto your netbook through your mail account.
As for your second question, is it windows media player you're trying to update? Try downloading the latest version of WMP to see if that resolves the issue. -

Searched online and someone suggested downloading the LR trial, and set up Cloud, then can enter the serial number to complete the purchase. Which is what I did, but the serial number is being rejected.
Ok, maybe what they’re calling Creative Cloud is merely your Adobe ID, an e-mail and password to login with. The LR5 6 update link is probably what you want to download—all updates are downloads, anyway, so there’s no need to have a disc reader as long as you have internet and the serial number.

Another issue might be that what you think is a serial number is a redemption code that needs to be converted to a serial number using this website: http://www.adobe.com/go/getserial A clue that you have a redemption code is that it has letters and numbers. A serial number is just numbers and the first few are 1160-something. -

Been using an Avastor HDX-800 for storage and backup, also a SUPERDISK for smaller stuff; recently the SUPERDISK does not appear on the screen, and the light blinks while you hear it spin, also the Avastor has started to have the same problem, both USB conncected, both worked well before, but both now spinning, blinking, and not showing up on the screen as before,
Interestingly they both appear in the System Profiler, but just not working the same as before

I have recently changed from a old netgear router to using a vigor 120 modem with airport extreme
Internet connection is established but my airport express reports "AirPort does not have an IP address and cannot connect to the Internet." although status is ON and the correct wifi address appears.
My iPhone also identifies the correct network but cannot connect

Instead of joining it from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed. Before I went through network diagnostics and all of that stuff in system preferences, and then I tried the "Join Other Network" method, and now it works like a dream.

Click Network
Highlight AirPort and click Configure...
Choose “By default, join: Preferred networks”
Select your access point and Remove your access point with the minus button.
Launch your keychain access in Utilities and delete your access point keychain entry.

I have a read-only calculated field, and I want to build actions on it, dependent on what the answer to the calculated field is.
I have used action builder, and it works, but only if the form filler clicks in and out ("exits") the field, which they didn't have to enter in the first place, because it populates as a result of a previous script.
To be more precise, The questions asked before this field are:
Date of submission (submitdate):
Date of event (eventdate):
Calculation occurs (days between event and submission), and answer is populated in a field called 'daysbetween'
Now I have a set of conditions:
If the daysbetween is < or = 14, then I want a message to come up saying ineligible to apply
If the daysbetween is >14 and < or = 28, then I want a message to come up saying a fast track fee will be applied, and I want the fast track fee box to be populated, and I want the fast track fee box to appear.
I used the action builder to get all of this to work, except that it only works if the user then clicks in and out of the 'daysbetween' field, which they shouldn't have to, because it's already calculated for them
I feel like I have to put this script in an earlier field...but I don't know where - action builder won't let me do it in the 'eventdate' field
Thanks in advancePut a shift register on the border of your loop. Have a case statement that contains the "Get time" function in one case of the case statement. Make that case = 3 and wire the loop iteration to the case selector. Have the time value loaded onto the shift register in the "2" case (interations count from zero), have the shift register passed through on all others ("Default"). Then subtract this time from current to get elapsed time. You probably want to put the subtraction/comparison in a "sub-case" in the "default" that only is valid for interations > 3 or you will get some really ugly "times" until the shift register is loaded, or you could initialize it from outside the loop with the time, but this will cause it to show elapsed times from the beginning that suddenly jump back to a low number after iteration 2.

Very easy. Tell me what version Photoshop you have and I'll direct you to the proper downloadable installer file.
Have your serial number ready. You can activate on 2 computers, so don't deactivate the old one until you are updated and sure it works on the new one.
As a side note: You never copy or transfer Photoshop to a new computer, you have to install.
