What does it mean when my "Session Has Timed Out?" How do I fix this and redeem my gift card?!
So, in the iTunes store when I enter a gift card code and hit 'redeem' a message pops up and says, "Your session has timed out. Try again." This has been going on for FOUR DAYS. I'm connected to the internet, have the newest version of iTunes my computer can run, (9.2.1), so what's the problem? I just want to buy some music!
Totally never mind- I read a different discussion that had the same problem and got it fixed. I just signed out, entered the code, then when I was prompted to sign in, I did- and it accepted my code! Thanks!!

I have done all these- still have no access to searchWell, shucks, i just spent almost 30 minutes trying to find your model user guide to explain it better, I guess they never got around to making it.....
I would just borrow another Windows disk and try installing it again and if it does it again then you might take it to an Apple Store and see if one of the "Genius' " can figure it out.
Make sure your internet is enabled and click on your blank desktop and at the top of your screen is a Help menu option, enter PRAM and it should give you a list of things relating to Pram. It may take a few seconds to list anything as it has to connect to Apples severs first. It should list the things you may have to fill back in when your done.
"P-ram" stores some common information that is used in the background, your date, time, startup disk, etc, that you don't have to re-fill when you restart, it's a little different for each computer. -
i'm having some issues trying to change my account billing---I have a new debit card and i need to punch in the new number but when i go to edit my info itunes says my 'session has timed out.' i've logged in and out more than once. what's the problem?
Try to change the credit information from your iphone or other ios device. Tap on settings > store > tap Apple ID > tap view account > tap payment information > change

Besides not typing in all caps... you probably have Pro Tools installed, the Avid/Digi Core Audio MIDI driver is not compatible with Lion.
It has to be removed... Look in ~/Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers

If in settings, music, volume limit is off then restart your phone first. Hold the home and off button down until the apple symbol comes up.

5. Release Home button.

6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

My coworker and I answer emails in 2 shared work emails and I have access to my personal email and her's to answer work questions. Lately when she answers an email in our orders inbox, and marks it off as answered with our assigned highlight, it won't transfer the info to my computer's inbox. I'm left thinking they're still unanswered. We've been double-answering many customers which seems strange and shouldn't happen. How can we get them to communicate more efficiently again. This has only been happening the past couple of months.
Have you followed the rest of the instructions on the TS2446 page that you posted from e.g. you've logged out of your account on your phone by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then logged back in ?

Just when I'm ready to buy, itunes says, your session has timed out? what can I do?

After loading ios6 I keep getting this message when I try to install a new app: Your session has timed out. Try again. This is after it requires that I pick 3 questions and answers to protect id.

Here are troubleshooting steps that should help you fix the problem.
1) Quit App Store in multi-tasking.
2) Tap Settings.
3) Tap Safari.
4) Tap Clear History.
5) Tap the Clear History button.
6) Tap Clear Cookies and Data.
7) Tap the Clear Cookies and Data button.
Try purchasing an app again from the device to get the security question prompt. You really need to set up the security question.

what does it mean when you receive a text on your iphone 6 from your own number and the message is duplicated on each side (sent/received) and has "verizon message" with a long number at the end of the text, duplicated as well?
Great question stacybrownie! Let's get to the bottom of this so that it's not a cause for concern. When a message is sent to/from your own number, it will display as one sent, one received. This makes it display two messages as you are seeing. Let's clarify the second part of your question. Where do you see "Verizon Message" exactly? What is the long number at the end of the text? When did this start and is it with all text messages or only this instance?

My ipod nano 6g volume goes down by itself. It adjusts itself to no volume.
My ipod 6g's volume goes down by itself. It will go back to 0 volume. I wonder why sometimes, it will be fixed again, i think not the hardware, which is the buttons are destroyed. I think the software is the problem?
