Unless you have a backup from which you can restore, yes you will lose all of your data and settings.
You should be able to sync your content back to the iPad if you have been syncing with iTunes all along. If you don't sync with iTunes, you can download much of your paid content again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID. This explains downloading past purchases.

It means that you jailbroke your iPhone with redsn0w. There are several known methods to fixing this issue:
1. Plug it into your computer and restore
2. Plug it into your computer, then hold the power button for about 6 seconds
3. Hold the power button and the home button to restart it. As soon as it turns on, plug it into your computer and wait
4. Time. Sometimes it fixes itself over time.
I would suggest refraining from jailbreaking your device next time. I know it tempting to do so, but if you want to root your phone or play with emulators, I would suggest an android device. Btw, iOS 7 looks promising for the Apple community. Keep your ears peeled this week during WWDC. -

When you click on the WiFi network name, have you also provided the password for accessing the network? You should get a dialogue box asking you for the security information the first time you connect.
If you are not able to connect, you might want to go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings.
Then go back to Settings > WiFi and select your network name again and make sure the security information is now entered correctly.
If you still cannot connect, power down the router, wait a few minutes, power up the router, with the iPad powered down the whole time, and after the router has had several minutes to stabilize power up the iPad. See if it now connects correctly. -

Is the hold switch in the on position? Try resetting the iPod. To do this, press and hold both the Select/Center and menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear. The iPod may have simply locked up.

1. It means exactly what it says. Apple dropped support for earlier Mac OS X versions in iTunes 10.7.
2. Update the computer to 10.6.8. If it's running a Mac OS X version prior to 10.6, this requires buying a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD from the online Apple Store, which requires an Intel Mac with at least 1GB of RAM.

I bought my iPad 2 three months ago from apple, and all my updates re from apple through iTunes. Version 4.3.3 is the latest version I updated, have been trying hard to update 4.35 but I get error messages all the time when the update is almost complete. Got it sorted. AN e-mail to teh support centre got me three replies, two reasuring me that someone os working on it and the third giving me the information that the ID is enabled again and ready to use. All within 24h. Of course without any information as to why the problem came up in teh first place. At least it was swift action.
