What does "Object "Cannel Border" is not currently available mean?

I'm trying to do a lesson in "Classroom in a Book" for Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. It is Creative Fun with Guided Edit". Create a "out of bounds" picture of girl on bike riding out of the photo.Have done everything in order that was requested.
Made a selection with the quick selection tool of the girls parts that were supposted to be out of the picture. After that was supposed to click a button "out of bounds" Got this message "object "channel border" is not currently available." Haven't the foggiest as to what that means.
I don't know if it was something I was supposed to do or if it meant it wasn't available in my version 10 of Elements. The book is all about version 10 so I guess I just don't know enough.
THAT'S WHY I BOUGHT THE BOOKI! I don't think the authors of the book remember they are dealing with beginners.
If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info. You came through for me again! I finished the project, but did something wrong in saving it. I got the broken picture image. Don't really care because I was able to do the project and don't care if I can prove it.

I believe you have two unrelated problems. The red light is only associated with the digital audio port and indicates the "mute" switch inside the jack that turns off the built-in speakers when phones are in use has jammed in the mute position. No way it should affect your ability to start the computer. That has to be something else.
Does your computer give the normal startup chime sounds when you turn it on?
If you are getting the normal startup chime and have a wired keyboard, boot while pressing the SHIFT key. Keep holding the SHIFT key until you get a desktop, then let go the key. At this point, do not try to do any work with the computer but rather see if it will restart normally (without holding any keys or key combos).

You keep it on the usb stick for after you boot into Windows. From Windows you install the Windows Support software on the stick. Do you realize that you need to buy and install Windows? The Windows Support software you downloaded is only the Windows drivers for your hardware.

This appears to have been resolved over the weekend. A sandbox status page would be useful. The sandbox does have frequent problems, resulting in quite a lot of lost development time.

"the command "select" is not currently available"...well it should be. I just used to two seconds ago.
I routinely can not perform most actions because some function is not available. If I open an image, and record a simple "divide slice" action, the action can not repeat it, even on the same image. What am I missing? it seems so trivial, but I can't get past it.

The drivers are there. I see this quite often. What's happened is the supported devices list on the Mac is a little out of date. All you should have to do is disconnect the printer from the Mac, run Apple Software Updates, restart the Mac, connect the printer back to the Mac, and add the printer's queue to the Mac. I have an early 2009 24 inch iMac. It is running mavericks. When I attempt to download using the boot camp assistant i get the message " software not currently available from server" So I went to the Boot Camp support website and there are about half a dozen versions of the boot camp download. None of them match my hardware. I tried the one closest, but when I went to run the setup in windows, it says my machine does not support x64. I have installed windows 7 home premium x64....It works, sort of. I cant get sound and my magic mouse behaves badly.
Do I need a different version of windows or is there a compatible version of boot camp for my system? Thanks for reading.

If you installed Mavericks then you had Boot Camp 5 installed automatically. If you have tried downloading from Apple's download site you won't find a version other than 4 or 5 that provide a total package.

Similar experience here but finally succeeded! Here's the summary
Decided to (finally) update MacBook from SL 10.6.8 to Lion (it can't run ML or Mavericks) so this week purchased from UK Apple store. Received redemption code from Apple via email after couple of days and successfully redeemed this in Apps Store.
Under Purchases in Apps Store clicked on "download" and nothing happened! Clicking on the app name "OS X Lion" gave the message "The item you've requested is not currently available in the UK Store". Contacted support but got no useful help there.....
Following day went back to Apps Store and tried again clicking Download - still nothing (apparently - see below) so started thinking upgrade unlikely and £14 wasted.
A little later noticed new icon in Dock and investigating it said downloading Lion - checked Activity Monitor and indeed my internet connection was being hammered. At a little over 4Gb got an error message saying download could not complete (needless to say not happy) and download icon disappeared!!
So with nothing to lose reclicked Download in Apps Store and again no obvious activity and this time no new download icon in Dock - decided to check Activity Monitor again (just in case) and again high level of download activity! Maybe, just maybe, I thought and after about 90 minutes the Lion install screen appeared!
Have now backed up the Installer and successfully installed 10.7.4
I can't offer any explanation why it finally worked - Apps Store still shows "Download" not "Installed" as I would expect and the item is "..still not available.."!

Considering that my workflow handles multiple different business object through the course if it's lifecycle, I am just wondering how SAP translates "object-key" considering it uses different business objects. Does it come from the "binding" ? If so, the binding of this particular task looks like this:
&ZBusObj1& -> &ZBusObj1&
&ZBusObj2& <-> &_WI_OBJECTY_ID&
... then, if I use "object-key" in the code of my methode being called by this task, does it refer to &ZBusObj1& or &_WI_OBJECT_ID& ? I'm trying to understand how SAP translates "object" in this context !

Trying to make a simple action/droplet.
Open document, duplicate Background layer, save, close.
Action works on a file I open. I make a droplet - and it can't find the Background?
Every time it says "The object Background is not currently available." Do I need to turn something off? Auto-Select Layer?
I used to make actions that could do things similar to this, why not anymore? CS4.

Background has to be the correct "Background"- this is a completely opaque base layer . Layer/new/background from layer.
If you actually want it to select the base layer, whether this is actually the 'Background' or not: Use the shortcut Alt Comma - this will record in your action and will NOT stop the action, regardless of situation.

For no discernible reason when I opened iTunes and selected the iTunes Store, this message appeared:

rebooted computer. Flushed iTunes cache. I see lots of references to this in older posts (2012 and earlier) but nothing recent.
