What does "paying" for iCloud do for me?

I was checkng out icloud on my iphone 5 becuase I had a very major issue (at the time) which in the end was a very minor one.  I noticed you can pay a yearly fee.  I would lie to have more icloud storage for those photos and videos or whatever I may store.  By purchasing iCloud, does this let me store more photos in the photo stream or am I still entitled to ONLY 1000 photos?

At this moment in time 1000 is the limit.

What is Preview for iCloud used for? Is this to save any document that can be opened in Preview to iCloud?
    Thanks.

Preview is a Mac application capable of viewing a whole range of file types. It can save those files to iCloud which can then be accessed on another Mac setup with the same iCloud account.
Currently, files saved to iCloud from Preview cannot be accessed on iOS devices, as there is no equivalent iOS Preview app.

  • What does the acronym PH stand for in the article id number

Trying to figure out what the different acronyms stand for in the article id number. I know HT stands for how to and TS stands for trouble shooting. What does PH and HE stand for.

PH refers to product help; these articles are the same as the product's content in the Help Viewer.
HE articles describe navigating Apple's support system itself.

TD, LN - You guys make great points and I will take you at your word. Normally, I would not hesitate to update. I have a lot at stake here with a large vacation coming up with a great many new pictures anticipated. I don't know enough to understand what is meant by "verifying my library." Please give me some insight there and I will start the upgrade process tonight! Seriously, I have wanted to do this for some time, but have been scared away by reading too many situations on these forums.
TD - you have a good sense of humor. I know all versions eventually need to be left to die away. Support is not eternal. I am sure I missed the announcement that certain versions of iPhoto would no longer offer the ability to conveniently make cards, calendars, books, etc. Like the original poster, I was surprised to learn my version did not offer that functionality only by requesting it and getting denied. Sort of frosted me at the time, as you can tell by my original reply here.
If anyone can help me with the "verifying" question, I'll get off of here and let the original poster have his thread back!

Nothing.  The 2nd Gen Touch is OBSOLETE and is WAY past its support life.  If you want to run the newer apps you have to buy a newer iPod.

If you look at the documentation here [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14526_01/coh.350/e14509/appcacheelements.htm#BABEFGCG] you will see that it does indeed specify the name of the scheme. The other XML tags are explained too.

  • What does mean "2 component active for validations"?

    Hi Gurus,
I want to activate cost center component in a controlling area(tcode okkp). So I want to know what does mean " 2 component active for validations", and the difference with " 1 component active". It seems that co document will not be created when I choose "2 component active for validations".
    Thanks in advance,
    --Alex

    Hello Alexander,
    1  -  Active
CCA is active without limitation. Cost centers are validated against the cost center master. They can be used as account assignment objects. The CO files are updated on posting.
    2  -  Active for validations
CCA is not active. Cost centers are validated against the cost center master. The cost centers can be used as account assignment objects but the relevant CO files are not updated on posting. If CCA is implemented at a later date, you can subsequently post the cost-relevant business transactions in cost centers to the relevant CO files (OKBA, OKBB, OKBC).
So when you set the activation status to 1, you can post CO documents, and when you set the status to 2, co CO documents will be created but you can set CO objects on posting lines and these CO objects will be validated. This ensures, when you activate CCC at a later date, then these postings can be re-posted to CO.
    Cheers,
    Daniela

  • What does "Upgrade Your Device" mean for a VZW customer?

I had a LG Octane and "upgraded" to LG Cosmos at the end of my contract. The Octane does not have a camcorder but the Cosmos did. To me this was a "downgrade." I learned of this "downgrade" after I had the "upgraded" a few weeks. I believe Verizon's use of the term "Upgrade Your Device" is deceptive and a false promise. Verizon representatives refuse to recognize this "upgrade" as a "downgrade." I am stuck with a downgraded phone for more than another year before I can upgrade again without paying the full cost of a phone! So what does "Upgrade Your Device" mean when used on the Webpage of your Verizon Account?

"I had a LG Octane and "upgraded" to LG Cosmos at the end of my contract. The Octane does not have a camcorder but the Cosmos did."
The upgrade is that your new phone has a camcorder. Your old phone did not.
The word upgrade means to me getting a new phone that has features that my old phone didn't have and that i will actually use.

  • What does one year commitment mean for adobe creative cloud monthly payment

If I want to purchase creative cloud for only a few months of the year does that mean I only pay for those months? I am unclear about what you mean by a one year commitment.
For example if it cost HKD 68 for on month and I only need this software for two months of the year do I only pay HKD 136 in total.

An annual subscription may be paid monthly, but you are committed to pay that monthly fee for a full year
Purchase the monthly subscription so you may cancel with no penalty

  • What does the field Inconsistent mean for ABC Analysis for Cycle Counting report

What does column "Inconsistent" mean for report ABC Analysis for Cycle Counting (T-code MIBC)?  The reason I'm asking is because I see TotalStock values greater than 0, but the Accounting 1 view for Material Master and MMBE both show zero stock.  I do not understand why TotalStock in the report does not show zero.  Can anyone explain how this can happen?
Note: the report is run for consumption/usage date range.
    Thank you,
    Doug

    Hi,
MBEW table and MMBE transaction will show the current stock. When you run MIBC report for consumption, the system considers the consumption for the date range given (from MVER table), which may not be equal to the current stock. Refer the KBA:  1817237 - Stock quantities and stock values in MIBC  which explains the system design.
