What does "Press F12 for BBS POPUP" mean when I switch my Equium on?

What does "Press F12 for BBS POPUP" mean when I switch my Equium on?
Any idea? Thanks!

Hi
I presume you are reading the message provided from POST (Power On Self Test)
There you can see different messages.
As far as I know pressing F12 at the beginning of the boot process will enable the boot menu. Then you can choose between different boot options and boot devices;
So dont worry, its nothing unusual.
I think it should be possible to disable this in the BIOS;
Check the option for Boot Settings Configuration / Quiet Boot -> Disabled or something like this.
Cannot remember exactly how the option is called.
greetings

  • What does the corrupted content error message mean when FireFox 7.0.1 tries to open a web page?

    Corrupted Content Error. The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the data transmission was detected. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Ever since FireFox updated to 7.0.1 this error occurs.
    Signing out of Hotmail generates that message I mentioned: Corrupted Content Error. The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the data transmission was detected. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Ever since FireFox updated to 7.0.1 this error occurs. How do I stop it? Now it appears to be doing it across multiple websites. The TRY AGAIN button always comes up when initially trying to load a webpage - very frustrating.

    You can get a "Corrupted Content Error" error if there are multiple location redirects send via the HTTP response headers or other entries may be wrong.

  • What does enter password for what does cardDAV account "yahoo" mean on ipad 2

    what does enter password for cardDAV account "yahoo" mean on ipad 2

    I'm having exactly the same problem. I saw no further responses and am wondering if you resolved this. Just bought the newest iPad. I'm a comfortable user as I'm on my 3rd iPad. Never seen this asked of me. Incidentally I am also trying to resolve why I "can't connect to apple store". For that I have reset "network settings" & forgotten my wireless network. I'm starting to wonder if the CArdDAV and "can't connect to the apple store are related. I can reach the Internet via Mail & Safari. I have a weak g3 connection. Not able to download anything via that as it's slow right now. I am trying to restore my apps after a theft of my old one. I have quite a few apps I need to download and I can make none of them happen. And every time I reboot the "cardDAV password" request comes up, repeatedly.

    What do you mean it comes up and stops you?
    No you don't need Genius. If it's just an extra feature of the device.

  • What does 'DDIC' stands for??

    Hi,
    When i checked the Technical spec. .I found there showed 'DDIC layout template'.
    What does 'DDIC' stands for??
    Thanks!

    DDIC stands for Data Dictionary
    There exist ONE TO ONE relationship between ddic table and transparent table..
    It means :
    There is a physical table on the database for each transparent table. The names of the physical tables and the logical table definition in the ABAP/4 Dictionary correspond and
    one field in dictionary correspond to one field in physical database.
    When the table is activated, a physical table definition is created in the database for the table definition stored in the ABAP Dictionary. The table definition is translated from the ABAP Dictionary to a definition of the particular database in One to One Relationship..
    Pooled table
    Pooled tables can be used to store control data (e.g. screen sequences, program parameters or temporary data). Several pooled tables can be combined to form a table pool. The table pool corresponds to a physical table on the database in which all the records of the allocated pooled tables are stored.
    Cluster table
    Cluster tables contain continuous text, for example, documentation. Several cluster tables can be combined to form a table cluster. Several logical lines of different tables are combined to form a physical record in this table type. This permits object-by-object storage or object-by-object access. In order to combine tables in clusters, at least parts of the keys must agree. Several cluster tables are stored in one corresponding table on the database.

  • What does UMA do for me?

    Hi all
    I asked this on another form but no response so I'll try a broader audience...
    I know what UMA is but what does UMA mean when it is displayed on my phone (8320)?
    details;
    I have an 8320 on the Rogers Network. I have unlimited data and email with no "Talkspot" subscriptions. A Talkspot subscription is what Rogers says I need to make use of the WiFi call and inetthrough my Wifi.
    Wifi is enabled as "Wifi preferred"
    question;
    Is my phone actually using the Wifi connection when UMA is displayed? Since I don't have a subscription why does it display UMA?
    Not too broad a question I hope. I just don't why UMA is displayed when I don't have a subscription.
    What does UMA do for me when I have it displayed on my phone?
    I'll leave out my thoughts so I don't lead anyones answer.
    many thanks
    G

    Nothing if you aren't using it. I will assume you know what UMA is, or you wouldn't be asking the question in this manner in regard to calling capabilities.

  • What does call failed and call busy mean?

    I call my bf on Skype every time I see him on there and it rings and eventually it says call failed and sometimes it will say call busy, what does call failed and call busy mean?

    WuTom wrote:
    If a call is marked as "Call ended" does this guarantee the other person ended the call, or can it also mean the call disconnected or was dropped?
    Was talking with someone and at one point the "Call ended - call dropped". Few other times it was just marked as "Call ended", they have bad internet. So is it possible the "Call ended" means the call was dropped due to internet or were they for definite hanging up?
    Thanks
    Hi WuTom,
    From experience, it depends on the platform which you are using. In my case, my boyfriend is using Skype for iPhone and I am using Skype for Mac. Sometimes I find that the "Call ended - Call dropped" is the result of bad internet on my or his part. "Call Ended" on its own could mean one of two things, among others:
    1. A person accidentally touches the red end call button; or
    2. Skype crashes unexpectedly (either because of internet as you said or other issues such as flat battery)
    This is just from my personal experience, but I do hope it clears some stuff up for you.
