What does "Remote EOF_HOME" in Maintenance Wizard Refer To

We are trying to set up Maintenance Wizard 2.18 to do an 11.5.10.2 to R12.1 migration and cannot figure out what the value of "Remote EOF_HOME" should be or where it gets created..
I want to know exactly where that directory will be created. What it is used for would also be nice to know so I can make sure it has enought space.
Thanks in advance!

Samuel,
Also note that there is a more detailed description of every one of the Node Attributes available right in the Define Nodes attribute screen. Just to the right of the field itself, there is a small "i" icon inside of a bubble. Clicking on that icon will show you more information to assist you in populating the attribute with the correct value.

to what does G4 error code post16/4609 refer?
G4 MDD 1.42 PPC passes all hardware tests but gives post16/4609 error at start up.
    What does it mean?
    What is the resolution?

I don't get any unhappy beeps.
I get the chime. If I am not patient restarting I get high speed fan - I shut off be patience restart and get chime and search for drive then circle slash. hardware test gives me the master post 16 / 4609. - suggesting a bad drive according to other apple pundits. However, I have put two new 250GB WD drives in and still get a mass storage error. My G4 Mdd 1.42 supports drives 128GB+. I've replaced IDE cables and have master drive with out a jumper and have tried slave at CS and 3/4 slave setting all with the same result.
Target boot got me to the "firewire drive" showed me one unformatted 250GB drive and I used disc utility to partition it according the PPC settings. Still same error.
    What gives?

  • What does remote control volume control do?

What does the volume control on the remote do?
About 6 months ago I successfully changed my remote to operate the TV.  Today I reset the remote (by pressing #* and on/off button) so that it doesn't affect the TV.  In this mode, should the BTVision remote control do anything (it doesn't seem to!)?  I thought that it would increase/decrease the output of the BTVision box so that I would have two methods of controlling the volume - one by using the BTVision remote, and the other by using the TV remote.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Nope -- either programme it to operate the TV sound as before or leave it to do nothing.
Some devices do work the way you would like but not the Vision box.

  • What does a notification about Channel 50 refer to?

I've just started to use a new ZTE Open C. My notifications generally make sense to me but I have two outstanding which refer to Channel 50.
    They just say:
    Channel 50
and then there's a 5 digit number below, in my case 01620 and 01362 respectively (the first one from 19h ago and the second from 1d ago).
I'm not aware of any particular problems, though the wifi receiver does seem to have a tendency to get turned off, but I'd like to know what the notifications are about. I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

    Hi, peejaymoz!
Sorry to hear that you keep getting these notifications from the carrier. If you still have the SIM card, would you please insert it into the phone and try this:
    # Launch the ''Settings'' app
    # Tap on ''Messaging Settings''
    # At the bottom of the page, turn off ''Cell broadcast''
I hope that fixes your problem!

  • What does field REASN in table HRP1001 refer to?

    Hi Experts,
I have some CP -> B207 -> BP relationships that exist in HRP1001 with the field REASN = 'AL'.
There aren't many of these, but it seems as though when an ERP user makes a change to a personnel file (ex. change a mailing address), one of these records is produced.
Any idea what it means?  Or at least, what the possible REASN codes are?
    Thanks
    Shane

    Hi Sally,
I determined that the reason 'AL' is appearing is because HRALX PBPHR = 'ON' in our DEV system (was testing something)
We used to have this set to 'CREATE'
We are in an integrated environment, with E-REC on the same system as our HR.  I get the impression the setting 'ON' is better than 'CREATE', but I am sure there was some reason behind us originally selecting 'CREATE' for this setting.
What is the recommended setting?  Can I have PBPHR = 'ON' in an environment where there is no ALE transfer taking place (since we are integrated)?
    Thanks
    Shane
And yes, we are using HRALXSYNC (for E-REC purposes)

You can't do a backup of icloud to an external drive.  In fact, does your post have anything to do with icloud (you're in the icloud forum)?
What kind of "system backup" are you doing?  Are you using Time Machine?

  • What does the category "Other" refer to when viewing Macbook's storage?

Less than two months ago I purchased a Macbook Air 13 inch. I already have about 8 gb music and 14 gb of movies. But I have nearly 17 gb of things stored under the "other" category. I can't, to my knowledge, click on this and see what this category contains.
So how can I have this much stuff in this "other" category?
What does this "other" category refer to? What kind of files are stored here?
Is it a backup of some sort? And if so, don't you have to authorize a backup because I don't believe I did, but can't be certain.
I've downloaded Adobe, Quicktime, Microsoft Office, and Vuze, but aren't these stored under Apps, not the "other" category?
This seems like a lot and I don't want to take up uncessary space.
    Guidance is very much appreciated.
    Thanks!

Some of that could be photos deleted from iPhoto but still present on your machine until you empty iPhoto Trash. e-mail attachments deleted from mail, but still on your machine until you empty e-mail trash, iMovie clips deleted but still on your machine until you empty iMovie Trash (all those programs do not put files into the trash can on your desktop... they have an "integrated" trash of their own that must be emptied by the user). iTunes media files that you "deleted" but did not allow iTunes to put in the trash.

  • In mail. What does it mean to to turn off on 'Load remote images?'

In mail. What does it mean to turn off or on 'Load Remote Images?'

    From Mail's help:
    Show or hide remote images
Some messages may use HTML to include remote images that, when retrieved from the sender’s servers, reveal information about your Mac. You can protect your privacy by not loading remote images contained in messages you receive. In addition, when you don’t load remote images, messages display more quickly.
Choose Mail > Preferences, and then click Viewing.
Select or deselect the “Display remote images in HTML messages” checkbox to show or hide the images.
If you chose to hide remote images, a banner is displayed across the top of messages that contain remote images, asking whether you want to load them for viewing.
If Mail detects that a message is junk mail, HTML images aren’t displayed.

Why do I get a message saying "You are running an operating system that InDesign no longer supports. Refer to the system requirements for a full list of supported platforms."? What does this mean?

It means that your machine does not meet the system requirements for InDesign.  Check the system requirements for InDesign against those of your machine to see where your machine comes up short.

    Thank youHi Frank,
in this example the Customer is the Java class of objects which are put into a cache and is not Coherence specific at all. This is just the return type similarly to how a (stored) function in Oracle may return a row-type containing multiple values.
The return is a Java keyword which in a non-void method instructs the JVM to return the value of the expression following it from the method as the method return value if an expression follows it, and in a void method it simply returns from the method (no return value in this case, similarly to stored procedures).
Sorry for my saying so, really no offense intended, but judging from your questions you might want to attend at least a beginners Java course.
    Best regards,
    Robert

  • MDM Architecture: what does RICH content / THIN content refer to

    Hi,
When I read through the SAP NetWeaver MDM architecture (major building blocks), I have a question (in order to explain to other audience....):
What does RICH content / Thin content refer to / mean?
Under the thin content, there is Search/View, Data maintanance, OCI. For rich content, there are all mdm clients listed below. I don't know how to explain this diagram because using SAP MDM, it seems there no thin content....the search/view and data maintanance function are realised in MDM data manager. So why is it listed here?
    Thanks in advance!
    Angela Zhang

As already guessed, it is simply that MDM can be run in a fully administrative environment consisting of the MDM UI clients (i.e. the MDM Data Manager, MDM Console, MDM Import Manager, MDM Syndicator, MDM Publisher), and/or you can run it using SAP NetWeaver Portal (thin client). For portal usage MDM has specific portal content (for example, specific iViews).

  • Does Maintenance Wizard allow to register RAC node and if yes, then how?

Maintenance Wizard is not allowing to register additional nodes for RAC. This cause manual run for other nodes. Is there any way we can setup multiple nodes?
Example, we have two CM/Admin nodes and RAC database. We are using Maintenance Wizard version 2.19.
    Thanks

Edit the following script to sort out bug 11699526.
    $EOF_HOME/scripts/COMMON/eof1122e.sh
Line 131 reads "(CONNECT_DATA=(SID=${DB_SID})" change it to read "(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=${DB_SID})".
Enter the database service name when configuring the DB nodes.
You will still need to do the OS related operations manually on node 2.
