A network share object was accessed. Subject: Security ID: DOMAIN\SCCM$ Account Name: SCCM$ Account Domain: DOMAIN Logon ID:  Network Information: Object
Type: File Source Address: My Sccm Server IP Source Port: 52442 Share Information: Share Name:
\\*\ADMIN$ Share Path: \??\C:\Windows Access Request Information: Access Mask: 0x1 Accesses: ReadData (or ListDirectory)
Got these on my 3 DC's around the same time, Since these are DC's do i have to grant the computer account domain admin access?

All services in ConfigMgr run as the local System account of the server that they are on. The local System account in turn uses the computer's AD account to access any network resources. There are multiple processes within ConfigMgr that try to access
remote resources. Based on the message you have above, I would say this is coming from automatic (or manual) client push as this attempts to connect to the admin$ share.

    I've been raised the SR for this case ,and also install the Patch 6047085, the issue still happened. The ORACLE ask me: what kind of object this is, what is the owner etc? How is this object called? Can someone can tell me what does the WF_EVENT_OJMSTEXT_QH use for? or any article to introduce it?
    my environment : ebs 11.5.9
    database : oracle 9.2.0.8 64bit
    platform: linux redhat 4.0
    Regards
    Terry

    Hi Srini:
    Thank you for your reply.
    Not sure why Support is asking you about this object - they should be the one providing you the answers ;-)-- I feel confused too. This issue last for one month and still have no idea for this case.
    Pl see if MOS Doc 1073171.1 (ORA-7445 [kdkbin()+223] on Linux x86-64 platforms on 9i release) is relevant in your case.--- I've been apply the patch, but no help.

    What does default account use for in Windows 10???

    I had understood that it is there and has been since windows 7, but rather I was asking what specifically do you want to know about the default account.  I suspect you would be better served by Googling it as there are 264,000,000 hits on the subject.

  • Can anyone explain how SCCM 2012 applies its firewallpolicy.

    Can anyone explain how SCCM 2012 applies its firewall policy?
    My understanding is that it does this by altering the local policy on the client computers.
    What i am seeing though is that administrators can still change these options manually.
    But if i change the options locally sccm overides the option after a while and greys out the option so it can no longer be changed manually.
    How do i make sure that a user cannot simply open the windows firewall settings and turn of the firewall?
    Do i have to use GPO's?
    And is this working as intended?

    You're correct ConfigMgr uses local policies to manage everything, including the limited firewall options. If you really want to manage the Windows Firewall on a more detailed level you've got to look at GPO's, as they'll provide you with a lot more options.
    For an overview of the capabilities via ConfigMgr, see:

  • Does SCCM 2012 R2 supports PXE boot from Unix servers.

    Does SCCM 2012 R2 supports PXE boot from Unix DHCP servers.
    The client has DHCP on Unix servers. There are no Windows DHCP servers in the environment. Do we need Windows DHCP server for PXE boot.

    You can use any modern DHCP server in your environment.  DHCP is just used to help point the BIOS/Network Card to the right server, which in this case is your ConfigMgr Distribution Point with PXE Enabled.
    It is strongly recommended to use IP Helper Addresses instead of the DHCP options though.
    I hope that helps,

  • What does the local-address element stand for here?

    Please se the following Coherence Extend Proxy Configuration file:
    What does the <local-address> element stand for? Does it define that only the local clients (local with server proxy) can be accepted?
    <local-address>
        <address>localhost</address>
        <port>9099</port>
    </local-address>
    <?xml version="1.0"?>

          <scheme-name>dist-default</scheme-name>
        </cache-mapping>

          </acceptor-config>
          <autostart>true</autostart>
        </proxy-scheme>
      </caching-schemes>
    </cache-config>

    I think you not got the real meaning here.
    <local-address> element is used to specify a local address (IP or DNS name) and port that the TCP/IP ServerSocket (opened by the connection acceptor) will listen on. It's not a filter used to confine the client IP address.
    For example, the following will instruct the connection acceptor to bind the TCP/IP ServerSocket to 192.168.0.2:9099:
    <local-address>
      <address>192.168.0.2</address>
      <port>9099</port>
      <reusable>true</reusable>
    </local-address>

  • What does the "i" in "iPod" stand for and why is lowercase?

    What does the "i" in "iPod" stand for and why is it lowercase?

    I dont know, I think that was pretty funny.
    The i first appeared as a prefix for the iMac. As this was the first one to be equipped with the internet it's a pretty safe bet to assume that it stood for 'internet'.
    After that it became a bit of a signature for apple and a kind of unofficial trademark and gets used on everything cos apple think it looks trendy.
    Although to be fair the iPod does play tunes that you download using the internet, so there is a link i suppose.
    I think this is right but will no doubt get some Mac nerd disagreeing.
