What does searchable items in search admin page mean?

whatdoes searchable items in search admin page mean? I guess it is
total indexed items. How we can get the same data using c# API
When i reset my index,  searchable items becomes 0. How to get this value
Rajesh

Resetting your index should NEVER be done, unless you absolutely want to blow all your search data away and start reindexing everything from scratch.  That is why your searchable items become 0 when you reset it.  The reset option deletes the indexes
from the query servers and restarts full crawling of all content.
To answer you question, yes, the searchable items in the search admin page means exactly that... the total number of items indexed.
I trust that answers your question...
Thanks
C

You need to code your web site to recognize the mobile browser and send a page that's actually usable when it does.

  • Some Search Admin Pages Causing Exception 0x80131904

I have a SharePoint 2013 Farm with multiple servers, though most applications, services and sites currently run on the main Front-End system.
I have been tasked with re-building the Search Architecture, so as to distribute search components across some of the other servers.  During this process, I have been reviewing & documenting the current Search configuration.  However, I keep
running into an error on several of the Search Admin pages.  I am able to navigate to the "Search Service Application: Search Administration" page, which shows that everything appears healthy under both 'System Status' and 'Search Application
    Topology'
However, I receive a "Sorry, something went wrong" error message, with "Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131904" page when I click on any of the following links:  "Crawl Log", "Crawl Health Reports", or "Content
    Sources."
All the other Quick Links in the Search Administration page appear to work fine.  But other than a "Correlation ID" that I do not know how to use, I can find no other information about this error or how to diagnose it further.
Anyone know how I can restore access to these Search Administration pages?
    Thanks in advance,
    Elohir

    Hi Elohir,
You can use the Correlation ID to find more detailed information in logging file, the path of the file is :  C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS .
Also , you can see the logging file through Event Viewer (typing Event Viewer in ‘run’).
0x80131904 is generally happened from SQL Server side. It may be caused by tempdb or Content Database is out of space.

what does the orange circle with white arrows mean?

Well, I've not seen that one before. In fact I had to click on it so as to read the tiny
text, then it appeared in another window as a .png image... so I retyped it  + also
supplied a .jpg of the same image of different size. Too wide: automatically scale.
Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent" has been modified and will not be repaired.
...maybe this is large enough to see without clicking? It probably scaled small.
•About the actual topic in your reply, in regular size text:
    { did you upgrade from an older Mac OS X? from what?}
You mean it could not or would not boot SafeBoot?
Here's an official support topic page about it.
•OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode?
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1564?viewlocale=en_US
Could be you need to start from a boot volume, or Recovery partition to repair it.
That is a more detailed way to repair disk & repair disk permissions, unmounted.
Not sure about that SUID thing, though. It may revert after a normal startup.
Maybe someone can offer better 'ways & means'... LOL!
    Good luck & happy computing!
    {edited 2x ... ps: maybe start a new topic if this one sees no action?}

  • What does the folder with a question mark mean?

When I power on my black Macbook a white screen appears with a folder with a question mark flashing. what does the folder with a question mark mean? I just replaced the hard drive. When I put the install disc in the cd drive makes a very loud whirring noise then eventually the disc pops back out. Any ideas?

    You will need to reinstall:
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
    Do the following:
    1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
    2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer.  Proceed with reinstalling OS X.  Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files.  After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install the Combo Updater for the version you prefer from support.apple.com/downloads/.

In general term higher level account group means which account group is used to the higher level customers in the Customer Hierarchy process.
    Or

  • What does a question mark and i file mean on my macbook pro

what does a question mark and i file mean on my macbook pro when i turn it on?

To be more specific, the computer is not finding a valid system when it starts up. This may result from the hard drive's physical mechanism failing, or the system on the drive being corrupted in some way.
Repairing permissions is not likely to fix this issue. Instead I would suggest booting from the system install DVD, running Disk Utility, selecting your hard drive's partition and select *Repair Disk*.
Note: if the hard drive does not show up in Disk Utility at all, it is dead and will need to be replaced. Contact Apple (800-275-2273 in the USA) and have them set up warranty service, or carry the MacBook in to an Apple retail store to have it fixed. Be sure to [make an appointment|http://www.apple.com/retail] first you you may wait a long time to speak to a Mac Genius.
If Repair Disk finds any problems and is able to correct them, you may be able to restart and everything be okay. If it is unable to correct the problems, you will need to erase and restore your hard drive.
If Repair Disk does not find any problems, I would suggest an Archive and Install as described in [this article|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1710].
    Best of luck.

That you may have jailbroken your phone. You may have used that computer to jailbreak a phone. You may have a bad hosts file on the computer because of that. There are many reasons, but generally those are the main ones. According to this http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/ there are no system outages.
