What does slot number " 50-50 " refer to?

When trying to set up a "voice-port" on a 2811 router, for a FXS port (VIC2-2FXS), the IOS gives me a response of:
<50-50> voice interface slot #
when I type in
voice-port ?
I expect the voice-port command to look something like
voice-port 0/0/1
for example. If I try to go along with the IOS, and enter a 50... going step by step to find the next allowable range, I wind up with
voice-port 50/0/1
at which point it gives "Invalid input detected" and points at the "5".
Attempting to just use
voice-port 1/0/0
voice-port 0/2/0
etc, just gives errors (Invalid input detected) with the initial number (0 or 1)
The same thing happens if I go into a pots dial-peer and try to use the port command. Any ideas what the IOS is looking for when it says my allowable range for slots is <50-50>?

hi,

  • Java2 Platform - What does the number "2" mean ?

Hi all, it is likely stupic. I have used java for nearly 2 years but until now, I don't know what does the number 2 accompanied with java mean ? It is a kind of naming, versioning or what ?? We have java2 including j2ee, j2se,j2me. The number 2 appears everywhere which remains a question in my mind.
Thanks for reading and perhaps, then answering.
    Regards,
    Hung.

From the release of java language version 1.2 , the specifications for java platform and java api had been standardised. So to landmark the java technology standard, it was named Java2. All the subsequent versions of java are based on the Java2 technology, mostly enhancing the api features and not much in vm level. Like pentium belongs to 486 family, java 1.5 belongs to Java2 family. If u know programming java 1.2, its fair enough to use java 1.5. But that is not true for those only know java 1.0/1.1.
    Now for your vocabulary,
j2se - standard edition of java following java 1.2 specification
j2ee - enterprise edition of java following java 1.2 specification
j2me - micro edition of java following java 1.2 specification
I hope your curiosity has been served.

  • What does the number after my wireless client name mean

I have an airport express and have set up my network properly.  Just recently I have noticed that there is a number (sometimes in parentheses, sometimes not) after the wireless client name when I look at my network with my airport utility.  What does this number stand for and why does it keep changing?

This is a known bug in Yosemite.
    On your Yosemite Macs.......
Open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock)
    Open Sharing
Edit the name of the Mac to what you want
Things may be OK for a day or two, but the (2), (3), (4), etc will come back to visit until we get a fix from Apple
I don't have an AppleTV here to check, but you can probably change the name in the settings for the AppleTV.

  • MDM Architecture: what does RICH content / THIN content refer to

    Hi,
When I read through the SAP NetWeaver MDM architecture (major building blocks), I have a question (in order to explain to other audience....):
What does RICH content / Thin content refer to / mean?
Under the thin content, there is Search/View, Data maintanance, OCI. For rich content, there are all mdm clients listed below. I don't know how to explain this diagram because using SAP MDM, it seems there no thin content....the search/view and data maintanance function are realised in MDM data manager. So why is it listed here?
    Thanks in advance!
    Angela Zhang

As already guessed, it is simply that MDM can be run in a fully administrative environment consisting of the MDM UI clients (i.e. the MDM Data Manager, MDM Console, MDM Import Manager, MDM Syndicator, MDM Publisher), and/or you can run it using SAP NetWeaver Portal (thin client). For portal usage MDM has specific portal content (for example, specific iViews).

  • What does the number in parentheses after CPU speed mean?

On original iMacs the CPU is given as PowerPC 750 400MHz (2.2) What does the 2.2 refer to? What would the latest version of the PowerPC 750 be marked?

It's probably the release version number of the PowerPC 750.
The G3's are more commonly referred to by the suffix after "750." I believe the last Mac with a G3 was the 900 MHz iBook, and they used the 750FX.
PowerLogix makes some G3 upgrade products that use the later 750GX, up to 1.1 GHz. Unfortunately, none are for the the CRT iMacs.
Some more info about the "G3."

  • What does the number in parenthesis on a Tab represent?

Using Firefox 24.0 on a desktop and laptop, when I open Facebook the Tab title shows the Facebook icon, the number seven in parenthesis (7), and the word Facebook. What does it mean?

Sounds like something added by an extension.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

  • My output loop tunnel value is "#1". What does this number signify.

I am a new Labview person. I have a While Loop containing a Fract/Exp String to Number fuction. The output goes directly to a loop tunnel whose value is 8 using a probe but when running in highlight mode the value displayed on the tunnel is "#1". What is the significance of this value.

It means you are not dealing with a scalar value, but with an array. The #1 means that the array size is one element. For arrays, it does not show the values, but the number of elements. A wise choice, because arrays can be huge. ;-)

  • What does a number in upper righthand corner of FaceTime icon mean?

Since yesterday there is a number 1 in the upper right-hand corner of the FaceTime icon on my iPad (iOS 7.0.2 - doesn't seem to be available in "my products"). I suspect that this is related to an attempted FaceTime call which didn't get through to me but haven't been able to find anything about that on the Web.
What is the explanation? And how do I get rid of the number from the icon?

Sorry, folks - now, a little too late, found the thread about this in this forum. But nornally when there is a missed call, the caller appears in the Recents list. I swear it wasn't there yesterday but it is now. All a bit strange!

It seems to be a networking issue with Yosemite right now, in which the bonjour service will erroneously generate multiple instances of your Mac on your network, possibly arising due to an issue with wake on demand partnering with a Bonjour sleep proxy running on an Airport Base Station or Time Capsule.  If you are connected to your network through an AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule, you can fix this, at least temporarily, by launching AirPort Utility from Applications>Utilities, selecting the AirPort, then going to Base Station>Restart.  After it restarts, go to System Preferences>Sharing and change your computer name back to it's original name again.  If you haven't updated yet, try installing the 10.10.1 update too.
