What does the Firefox logo represent, a fox or a red panda?

Certain websites claim that the Firefox logo is not actually a fox, but a red panda.
I learn that the name firefox is another name for firefox. But does the animal in the logo too represent a red panda?

  • Capacity bar - what does the orange 'other' represent

When sycing my iPhone, the capacity bar on the bottom of the iTunes page shows a large amount of 'other' space being used (colored orange). What is 'other'?Photos, apps, music are other colors on the bar. I do not have anything else on my phone that would take up alot of space. Does anyone know what 'other' is?

Thanks that helps. It's 430 MB. I figured it was contacts but I don't think I have a lot compared to most people-- only 74. Just surprised me that it would take up so much of my space. I have 70 pictures on it which only take up 40 MG so it didn't make sense to me.

  • What does the apple sign mean when sometimes it shows ?

What does the apple logo mean when sometimes i turn it on it just pops up and goes back to normal??

    Ayip,
The Apple logo appearing on your iPod nano is your nano's start-up icon. Normally, when you turn off your iPod nano, you are really putting it into a deep or semi-deep sleep, where it is ready to turn on at the push of a button and resume where you left off in your Now Playing list.
If, however, you leave your iPod in a sleep mode for some time , it will shut down. To turn it on again, you'll need to hit the center button (deep and semi-deep will wake up with any button press). When turning the iPod on from a shut down state, it will display the Apple logo while loading your music iPod software.
    Hope this helps!
    Sincerely,
    -FD

  • What does the "Internal" value on the ASM Disk Group Usage Chart represent?

In OEM Grid Control, on the Automatic Storage Management Home page there is the Disk Group Usage Chart.
What does the "Internal (GB)" value on this pie chart represent? and how it has been calculated?
On one of our servers it is 13% of available ASM disk capacity.. and on another it is 0%.

Internal space is (Total MB - Free MB) from the @ DiskSpaceUsage - Total MB from the DatabaseDiskSpace usage
It is basically the space occupied by the your DB in the ASM disk space. There are few bugs related to this and need to be refined
    regards

    Hello again
I'm not sure if it was you or another poster where I saw this. But in the last couple of days I recall reading a response from Adobe to someone here on the forums where they were advising something about conditional content in Frame and they advised some switch in the conversion settings could be flipped so that the conditions in Frame survived the trip into RoboWorld. Was that your by chance? If so, that would explain why you suddenly began seeing this.
The only way I can fathom to coax the colors not to show is by removing all conditionals.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Origin of the Firefox logo

Hi, I'm a fan of Firefox and this is not an issue as such, so apologies if I'm wasting anyone's time!
I'm a designer, so I couldn't help but notice the similarity between the Firefox logo and the Moon. I flipped a picture of the Moon horizontally and as far as I'm concerned they're an almost perfect match, the lighter area to the Southeast (bottom and right side when flipped) is very similar in shape to the Fox, the darker lunar mara defining his outline.
Only problem is my friends think I'm nuts for thinking they look similar! Can you please kindly confirm if the Moon was indeed an influence on your logo?
Please reply, a pint of beer may be at stake!
    Kind regards,
    Anj Avraam

I'm not sure what sphere that is. This recent article links to some of the earlier history: [https://blog.mozilla.org/creative/2013/06/27/a-new-firefox-logo-for-a-new-firefox-era/].

But I encountered an issue here as $subject which highlighted in the above link. What does the id number mean and how can I get it ?

Are you running Firefox in Windows 95 or 98 compatibility mode?
    Mozilla/5.0 ('''Windows NT 4.0'''; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0
Firefox won't install on Windows NT 4.0 - so something is changing your useragent and saying that your operating system is like 20 years old.
Right-click your Firefox desk-top shortcut and select Properties. Then open the Compatibility tab and look at '''Compatibility mode''' - un-check that box if it has a check-mark.

  • How do I get the top bar back that shows page description and the Firefox logo?

The bar at the top of Firefox that appears on every program above the menu bar is gone.
As in, the bit that normally displays the page title, and the firefox logo. It now looks indistinguishable from Chrome. I'm not in full screen mode.
When I click and drag firefox to the top of my screen to snap it to my monitor size, the firefox logo and the title are shown for the instant until it snaps, but as soon as it snaps it's gone (and generically everywhere).
I want to be able to see what browser I'm in at a glance, and see the title of the page I'm on. How can I resolve this?

You can find the button to enable the window title bar at the bottom left of the customize window.

    Hello crysta33,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
The screen with an iTunes logo and cord indicates the device is in recovery mode, and will need to be restored by using iTunes.  Take a look at the articles below for more information.
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings
    Take care,
    Alex H.

  • I have tried to laod the newest firefox 13. on my imac, 10.4.11. but after it down loads I get the firefox logo with a circle & white line over it, {?}

once the download is complete I do NOT get the firefox logo. The logo that appears on my desk top is an alias.

Unfortunately, Firefox 13 does not support Mac OS X 10.4. [[Firefox no longer works with Mac OS X 10.4 or PowerPC processors]]. The link I gave gives some possible solutions (as you have a PowerPC mac, you can't update your Operating System either unfortunately).

  • What does the extract single tone vi do?

When using an extract single tone vi, what does it actually do? Does it give the frequency, phase and amplitude of the HIGHEST amplitude wave? Say we provide a waveform of 400 samples of an undermined number of sine waves.....Are there any documents with block diagrams that explains this?

    1. Just the dominant frequency?
    2. Amplitude corresponding to that frequency?
    3. Phase (relative to what?)
    yes, the strongest frequenc
    Yep
A tone is assumed to be a sine wave.  So if the first point is the positive peak, you would get 90 degrees.

  • HT4314 What does the recent tab mean in the friends tab on Game Center?

What does the recent tab in the friends tab of Game Center mean? Thank you

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
    * Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and all open tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).
