What does the message mean time capsule already in use when it refueses to backup?

    Just the network is cranky..
Simple first step.. restart the TC.. ie unplug the power cord.. count to 10.. plug it back in.
Second step if that fails.. restart the network.. off everything.. restart in order.. modem.. TC.. clients 2min gap.
Finally if you are prepared to fight you can load 5.6 utility onto Mountain Lion and do a disconnect all users.. or a few other ways.. turn off file sharing and turn it back on.
The issue being TM did not dismount the sparsebundle correctly.

  • "iMessage needs to be enabled to send this message?

What does "iMessage needs to be enabled to send this message" mean?  I can't get my messages to send and when I try that pops up. What is it and how can I fix it?

I have a similar problem as the OP, I wished to disable iMessage just to avoid the complications of having two messaging systems. Also, I never use data and always keep it off in order to save battery. Third, I noticed that when using iMessage, sometimes others' messages to me reach me late, i.e. they would send it at 3 pm and I would receive it at 6 pm when I turned on my wi-fi (remember, I have data off always). For these reasons I chose to completely disable imessage.
However, for one of my contacts, I noticed that the "send" button was still blue, rather than green (as you know, green is for ordinary SMS while blue is for iMessage). When I try to send this person a text, I naturally get the "imessage needs to be enabled to send this message". I tried the solutions in this thread, but none of them worked.
However, I managed to find a workaround. First, I turned on iMessage, then I turned on "send as SMS if imessage not available" in the settings. Then, I disconnected my wifi and data so that imessage would not be available, then I tried to send an iMessage to the person in question (the one with the button stuck on blue). This time I did NOT get the error message, but the iMessage tried to send anyways, getting stuck when the bar was around 85% complete. Then, I pressed on the speech bubble being sent, and manually chose "send as text message"). Voila! the button suddenly turned green, and now I can send regular texts to that person again!

  • What does the message mean?

    Thanks always, Marvel.
I tried to create a region which is SQL Query (Pl/Sql Function Body returning Sql Query). The query itself is fine, successfully finished and the result is displayed, but with the message as follows:-
    ===
    failed to parse SQL query:
The query can not be parsed, the cursor is not yet open or a function returning a SQL query returned without a value.
    ===
No error encountered when I try to perform the query on sql*plus.
Any ideas to remove the message?
    Thanks in advance,
    Rui

after checking with our reports guy, here's what i got:
pretty much the only way to get that error from a report region is if the pl/sql that's supposed to return the sql query is returning a null. your posting makes it sound as if your page actually shows the results of the query, though, so i'm a little unsure. can we try this:
    1) if your report page isn't showing report results and is just showing the error you mentioned, please confirm that your pl/sql is, in fact, returning a sql query. one easy way to do this is to drop your pl/sql query source into a pl/sql region on the same page and make it HTP.P your query rather than RETURN the value.
    2) if you do see the results of your query and then the error message you described, is it possible that you have another report region on that page that's returning the message? if so, could you try to troubleshoot that region as i suggested above in check #1, please.
    3) if neither 1 nor 2 work for you, please do send your instance connect info to [email protected], and we'll take a closer look.
    thanks,
    raj

  • What does the message mean when firefox says something is trying to get it unsecurely update itself

A few times per week I get a message that says something is trying to update Firefox unsecurely . It tell me to make sure that I am running the most current version of Firefox. I don't understand who or what is trying to do this or more importantly why.

You can check for problems with preferences.
Rename or delete the prefs.js file and possible numbered prefs-##.js files and a possible user.js file to reset all prefs to the default value.

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    *Firefox 24: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
    *(32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
    *(64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.

  • What does the message (unable to launch app at this time try again lat ....done. Retry

What does the message mean( unable to launch app at this time   Done.    Retry ) .

The only other thing I can think of since this problem has to do with downloading on 3G is that the signal strength isn't good enough. Try a reset on the device, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and release. Once the phone restarts see if you can get it done. If not, you might want to check with iTunes support and see if they see anything wrong with your account.
Have you tried downloading on wifi? Does this work? Have you checked in iTunes for available downloads to try and get what you have cleared to start over?

  • What does the message "Another program has control of HP imaging device mean"?  I get this when I am trying to scan.

What does the message "another program ha control of HP imaging mean when I am trying to scan something. How do i correct it?

You may need to ask HP. I had the same issue with a networked (via ethernet) home HP multi-function. Sometimes the only way to get it to scan was to completely disconnect it from the network and connect it to only one Mac with a USB cable. Even that did not alwatys work.
Eventually, Apple started pushing out HP printer updates via Software Update. One of those finally made that error message to go away.
So run Software Update and see it there are new drivers that Apple made avaialble.

    CUCM 6.1.2a

Thanks by advance for your help

    Hi.
Manager Manager is the controller of other Managers... File Manager, Document Manager, Script Manager, etc. If you expand Manager Manager which one of the Managers do you see in Partial or Out of Service? Based on that you would troubleshoot from there. For example if Document Manager is in Partial you need to make sure all of your XML documents are properly uploaded.
If you need TAC assistance to troubleshoot this the best thing for them is if you restart the CRS Engine amd confirm Manager Manager is still in partial service, if so provide the \program files\wfavvid\log\MIVR\ciscoMIVR.log covering the startup event.
    I hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Andy

  • For what does the BPEL Manager need a domain ?

For what does the BPEL engine need a domain ?
Where (in which file) is specified to which domain the BPEL Manager
    connects to?
Is it a difference if the domains are defined in table
    orabpel.domain
    or just
    domain
? With which user/password/service does to BPEL Manager connect to
Oracle DB to search for its domain?
Background: My domain "default" exists in table but BEPL Manager could not connect here

We currently have 3 domains for BPEL. We use them because they a) serve different purposes, b) we tweak the domain level threads.
I believe bpel manager will, by default, connect to the which ever domain starts with the letter closest to A.
I also think the user account is orabpel, which connects to the bpel schema.

  • What does the message "No Editor " mean ?

What does the message "No Editor" mean?

Okay - the message means that the system knows of no editor (program) to use to view these files.
Since I gather you recently upgrade to Mavericks from Snow Leopare (you might want to update your profile), I am guessing these movies are in the file format for a program that no longer runs on Mavericks (or is not installed).
It is possible that you can change the "kind" ie. the file format extension, to one that the system recognizes, and have it open these files with another program.  You will have to experiment to see what works.

    Welcome!
You have installed Trusteer's Rapport software that many banks recommend, unware that it is poison to Safari. The developer keeps working on it but, so far, we don't seem to have a stable version that doesn't cause more problems than it fixes.

That's the icon for GPRS, no EDGE. You have three available data-modes on all 3G-enabled iPhones (3G, 3Gs and 4): The little circle or o for GPRS, the E for Edge and the 3G for UMTS. No icon at all means no data-transfer (no MMS, no Visual Voicemail, no Internet and so on).
