What does the new 5th gen iPod boxing look like?

I want to go buy it, but I am not sure how I can tell between the old(pre-september 12) iPod "video" and the new one. Is the boxing different like the iPod nano? Thanks for looking

I have the new box, but I don't know what the old box looked like so I don't know if it's different. There's nothing that obviously designates it as the new iPod except that I got the 80GB version. But for the 30GB version, I guess you'd have to check the Part Number, which is shown on the bottom of the box.
I got the white version, so the box is black with a white iPod showing on the front. It's about 6 x 6" square and about 1 1/2" thick. iPod pictured on top and bottom - on top with a song playing "Dani California", and on bottom with a movie (Pirates of the Carribbean). Actually the Pirates theme may be a key to the new ones. The thin sides have an iPod in profile, the apple logo on each side, fine print on the botton, and "80GB 20000 songs PC+Mac" on top.

What does the UI of CC Cleaner Tool look like

Trying to uninstall a previous version of PS.
Can anyone who has used the CC cleaner tool recently tell me what the interface looks like?
I ask because I saw a post from 2012 showing the interace back then and it was a GUI type interface.
What I see here in the newest version is dos style black box to type into as the cleaner prompts me.
Is that the normal interface?

No, it does not come with a case or a screen protector. Not from Apple, anyway. There may be a store somewhere that is offering them as a combo...you know...buy an iPod Touch and we'll throw in this screen protector and a case for free. Or for some price. In fact, I have been searching the web for a case for my iPod Touch 4th generation. There are many, many cases and things for the first, second and third generation iPod Touchs, but nothing for the 4th generation. It is too new. Not Apple's fault. It only came out a few weeks ago. Companies will be selling cases for them soon, I'm sure. I purchased a case for the iPhone 4th generation. The two 4th generation units (iPod Touch and iPhone) are very, very close in size. The only difference is the height. I can tell you that the case does not quite fit. The iPod Touch slides a bit inside the case. Depending on what kind of case you want to buy, it might not matter.
As for the protective screens, yes they are for sale for the 4th generation iPod Touch. Do a search on the web (Google, Bing, Yahoo, whatever) and you will find them. I purchased some from Amazon.com. They have not come yet. In fact, I just received notification that they were shipped today. But these protective screens are just for the 4th generation iPod Touch--they have holes where the camera and the power button are. I can't tell you how good they are yet. They were 3 for about ten dollars. I could have purchased less screens, but the price per screen was higher, obviously.

Thanks for the question. Based on the information you have provided, it sounds like your device is not detected in iTunes for Windows. The following resource may help resolve this issue:

Brand New 5th Gen iPod Touch Won't Connect to Wifi

I just got a brand new 5th gen iPod Touch and expected to have a fun night of playing with it, but instead I was trying to figure out why it won't connect to my network. Not a good introduction to a product.
Here is the related info and troubleshooting steps I've already tried:
- It will not connect to my wifi network
- The iPod Touch says "Unable to join the network [network name]" when I try to connect to my network (as opposed to "Could not find the network [network name]" when it is not the correct network name)
- I was able to connect to a random unsecure network nearby
- Of course I power cycled my router and modem to reset them
- My wireless router does not broadcast its SSID; I made it broadcast it and it still didn't connect
- My network is password protected. I tried changing the security type, as well as turning the password off altogether, but nothing worked
- My wireless router is a Netgear WGT624 v3
- Even though it's brand new, I tried resetting the iPod Touch and the network settings
Does anyone have any tips or solutions for this?
I wasn't able to find other people with this problem, at least not with solutions that I haven't tried. It's really frustrating not being able to connect to the internet with my new device.
I will point out that my Android phone connected to my wifi network on the first try with no problems.

What exactly are you finding so disgusting in iTunes 9? I have yet to find anything repugnant.
If you want to keep iTunes 8 I would suggest you buy a refurbished 4th Generation from the online iTunes Store and cancel your order for the 5th Generation.

No. You can turn your 6G Nano in to be recycled at your local Apple Store for a 10% discount towards the purchase of a new one. Otherwise, your only other option would be to sell the iPod on Craigslist or eBay and use the proceeds from the sale towards the purchase of the new 7G nano.

My 4th gen iPod touch will not power on, will not charge anywhere, and is not recognized as plugged in by iTunes. This is irritating, as a friend had given it to me in perfect working condition because she got a new 5th gen iPod Touch.

I just got this 4th-gen Touch from a friend because she got a new 5th-gen. when she gave it to me, the 4th-gen was in perfect working order, and I haven't used it since she gave it to me. I had put it in sleep mode and put it on my dresser, wher it has sat without being messed with for two weeks. Now, all of a sudden, it won't power on, it won't charge no matter WHERE i plug it in to charge, and not even a hard reboot has worked. My computer will not even recognize that it is even plugged in. There is no red low battery symbol displayed, nothing to make it seem as if it is charging, and, if it is charging, no response is evoked from it when I tap it, or push any buttons. The warranty on the thing has expired, and I really need to find out what is wrong with it and get it fixed. Can ANYBODY HELP ME????????? if somebody can point me in the right direction, or even help me get it physically fixed, i am willing to give MAJOR points, and it would be greatly appreciated.

When I went home after buying it, I plugged it into my computer to start charging. I plugged it in, and the battery in the iPod exploded, and now it won't power on period, even when it is plugged in or docked. I bought a warranty to go with the iPod because I figured that I was probably going to drop it, and then need it repaired. My 8GB of info took my computer 3.5 hours with a USB 1.1 connection (I don't have USB 2.0 on my tower). Are you using an older computer this time? A different USB port than before? When I added songs to my iPod from my laptop, which does have USB 2.0, it went lightning fast... compared to my tower.
It sounds like you've got a USB 1.1 connection, so, doing the math, it should take about 24 hours to transfer 53GB of info... according to my calculations.

I also have an old 20GB i-Pod and I too wanted to know what was in the new version, but like you I couldn't find a list of features or bug fixes or whatever.
I was happy with the i-Pod and I believe in the old saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", however, I also heard that the new i-Pods have on-the-go playlists, which is a feature I would really like. So, long story short, I used the new updater, the i-Pod now runs ver1.5 but there is no on-the-go feature. I'm guessing it's not supported for my old Hardware. As a compensation, though, I swear it sounds a bit better than before - dunno if there is a new decoder algorithm in the update. Haven't really answered your question, I just want to warn you that if you want to update for a particular feature, it might not be there. Apple really should publish a feature list for all versions. I just got my ipod touch 5th gen, 1 month ago and already its freezing for sometimes up to an hour. Its saying its playing my music, but no sounds is coming out, its battery running down faster than normal/when i first got it. When i go on itunes its only coming up wired symbols, I'v connected it with my itunes account on my laptop and its made it worse . I have also tried the apple website but still no luck Help!!!
