Before I can use Mozilla firefox, this prompt comes up...this site is unencrypted and it is very likely that a 3rd party can get information, what does this mean, unencrypted? Can I get firefox encrypted?

As long as the app remains in the store then you can re-download it via the Purchased tab in the App Store app, or via the Purchased Link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
Similarly ibooks can be re-downloaded, and depending upon what country that you are in then music, films and tv shows may also be re-downloadable (if they remain available in the store).

Since Aug. 20th I have been receiving a message that states " This accessory is not optimized on this iphone", what does that mean, and how do I get id of it?

If you don't have it plugged into something it means there is 'crud' in the dock connector causing a short and making it think there is something strange plugged in. Clean out the dock connector with a dry toothbrush.

Angel Season 5 -- what does it mean when it says "repackage"?

For some reason there are two versions of Angel Season 5 listed and only one of them is on sale. The one that is on sale says "repackage" in the product title and I was wondering if that meant that it was used, or if maybe it just meant different packaging. Hey Heather -
The only difference in those two skus is the actual packaging. One is a thicker package (older one) and one is a thinner packaging (newer one). You should be able to receive the sale price on either.

You didn't say what format your ext HDD is in...
You can try removing it in Terminal, but you need to know how, and you need to know the full path to the folder.
If you are comfortable doing so, open Terminal in Applications -> Utilities and run this:
sudo rm -r /Volumes/NAME_OF_EXT_HDD/NAME_OF_FOLDER
then type in your admin password

Multiple JVMs - What does it mean

I was trying to understand this for quite a while. Googling around just obscured the use of the term.
Could you please tell me what does it mean when I hear someone say :
"This machine has multiple JVMs....." and ofcourse, how you can bring up just one amongst the many JVMs (by locally doing something or remotely instantiating it ) existing and running code there,

What does it mean whenevr I try to reply to an email I get the following msg.......rejected by server because it does not allow relaying.

The Mail app first tries to send a message via the outgoing (SMPT) server associated with the account. It then tries the next outogoing server on the list for that mail account. Many mail providers do not allow sending mail from other than it own account. and the mail gets restured with the message that relaying is not allowed.. Tyu need to go to Settings>Maile> the sending account and check/correct the setting for the outgoing (SMPT) server for that account.

I just worked on this same issue for someone else at work (iPhone 4 or 4S up to date). The iPhone 5 needs to be up to date to the newest version of IOS
Here is what I did:
1. Got into the iPhone 5 without using an account
2. After getting in, it shows that there is an update
3. Completed the update
4. After the phone rebooted, went in and completed a reset of the phone to factory
5. When it came back up followed prompts and was able to restore from iCloud backup.
