What drivers do I n

What driver(s) do I need for my Sound Blaster Li've model number CT4780? I took my card out of my machine that used Windows 98. Now I'm using Windows XP, and I can't get it up and running. Also, I need really good dirctions on how and which way I'm supposed to plug everything in, once I insert the card into my pc slot. On the card is TAD, CD IN, AUX IN, CD PDIF, what do I plug into those slots. Thank you for anyone who's willing to help.

This model number refer to an OEM Li've! Value sound card. You can try using the retail Li've! driver and see if it works. If not, you will need to contact your computer vendor for the driver.

  • What drivers do i need to install on my Lenovo Y530 after installing Windows 7???

I just installed Windows 7 on my new Lenovo Y530 and want to know what drivers need to be installed. A few problems is the surround sound speakers, the laptop had amazing sound before i put 7 on it and now the speakers aren't working together.
Also the Veriface login isnt working, does anyone know how to connect it properly??
Also what other drivers need to be re-installed to bring it back to full functionality???
    thanks for all the help

You're using the MS .NET Framework Provider for Oracle. You will need to install the Oracle client on each client machine using a Windows Form to access Oracle.
You will also need to include the MS .NET Framework Provider for Oracle. I can't remember if MS includes it with .NET Framework or not, however.

  • What drivers do I need for a dell V515w AIO printer on my MacBook Pro OX S 10.7.2

What drivers do I need for a Dell V515w all in one printer for my MacBook Pro OS X 10.7.2 ????

Uh, tough call, you'll have to check what is used with a PC, drivers or driver+software.
If driver+software then that's a problem as they likely won't write one for OS X.
If drivers you can install these open source one and hopefully it might work,  Dell and Apple don't get along so you likely won't see Dell drivers installed by Apple in OS X like they do for others.

  • System Restore - what drivers do I load?

I had a self-induced computer crash with a new Lenovo x120e and am trying to restore my system. The Lenovo Operating System Recovery Disk did nothing (went to Restore and Recovery and then crashed) but fortunately someone recommended getting a Windows 7 recovery disk from NeoSoft (for $10).  That at least allows me to get to Windows System Restore!
Now the problem is that System Restore can't find my operating system, and asks me to load drivers. I have no idea what drivers to load!  There is a DVD with drivers...but as this computer has no DVD that isn't terribly useful to me.
I did find a folder drivers when I ended the command line prompt through System Recovery...but still at at a lost for what drivers to install.
    Can anybody help here?  Thanks.

  • How can I "see" what drivers are currently loaded in memory

I am currently trying to track down an "apparent" memory leak where the performance of my relatively idle Macbook degrades over time due to an ever increasing allocation of wired memory (as viewed from Activity Monitor). Within about two hours of rebooting with only the essential processes running, I see my wired memory continue to increase up to and beyond 700 MB. About this time I experience intermittent spikes in the "CPU-%System" allocation of 25% and more which causes severe lagging in my mouse and keyboard. The machine eventually becomes unusable and requires a reboot.
Because I see the wired memory continue to grow inexplicably over time and I am unable to isolate this to any processes listed in the Activity Monitor pane I have to believe that it is something not "visible" from the AM pane. I have read that wired memory is responsible for hosting the VM objects, the VM buffer caches, the I/O buffer caches, and the drivers.
FWIW, I downloaded "Main Menu" maintenance software from Santa Software and ran all of the cache maintenance scripts - unfortunately, this did not effect any discernible improvement.
My next guess is that there is some ill-performing driver loaded into memory that is chomping on my wired memory but I do not know how to "view" what drivers are currently resident.
Is there a way to view each of the drivers that are currently loaded in memory?
And, better yet, is there a way to view what amount of memory is currently allocated to each such driver?
Any help is much appreciated - thanks in advance!

You would certainly see SOME "depreciation in memory", due to e.g. spotlight indexing and other processes. But it should be nowhere near to what you describe to the point where your CPU fan runs.
Without any further detailed technical expertise, I would assume that it could be a RAM stick that is not working as it should be, resulting in the CPU having to make the extra "effort" to compensate for lack of RAM.
Have you taken the RAM sticks out and reseated them? An dust preventing good contact?

  • What drivers do I need to reinstall different OS and where can I download them for ThinkPads T61?

I just accidentally purchased one ThinkPads T61 with Linux OS version.  I don't use Linux so I plan to wipe out Linux and install Windows XP Pro instead.  I have the Windows OS, but as I know I will need to install some drivers afterward to make the notebook work properly.
My question would be: How many and what drivers do I need to reinstall different OS and where can I download them?

  • What drivers to update for recent Twist purchases?

    Hello everyone,
I just bought the twist on black friday and need to know what drivers to update?
Also, does anyone know how one can update drivers by using the lenovo setting without the usual going to a web browser and manually finding the update? I am pretty sure there is a way but I don't seem to find it. I was looking around the Lenovo Support App but maybe I didn't look well enough.
Similarly, the driver update for tent mode didn't work for me, so hoping Lenovo comes with a solution to the Tentmode problem.

I'm expecting driver updates to solve that issues that most of us are seeing with the lenovo twist
    Touchpad driver:
should resolve the issue where mouse moves and click around in tablet mode
    Power Management:
should resolve the issue with the auto-rotation especially in tent mode
And maybe one that improves the battery life? Hopefully...

  • Not sure what drivers I need.

Not sure what drivers I need.5 I have what I believe to be a Sound Blaster X-Fi MB card, and I'm not sure what drivers I need to install. The reason I believe it to be an X-Fi MB is because ) I am running Sound Blaster's X-Fi software package by default and have not changed anything on the computer, and 2) it is obviously built into the motherboard since it does not have its own card slot. However, when I go into device manger, the only thing that regesters under audio devices is ATI HDMI audio (I have an ATI Radeon HD 4850 that came with my Gateway FX6800) and Realtek High Definition Audio. I don't know why my actual sound card doesn't register as what it is to my computer, but it is a model with six 3.5 mm audio jacks, and it is in the rear of the computer, while every non-MB version I've ever seen has only 5 or less. This is confusing the holy crap out of me, since I don't know what drivers I should download. Is this something that Gateway has to update itself, or do I have to download the drivers for the audio card seperately? I'm very confused here, and I sure hope someone can [email protected]

Umm... yeah. The link you provided is pretty much useless to me. A 30 day trial for software I already have? All there is to that that I would actually want is the files for the drivers. The rest of what's on that page doesn't adress my current situation. Let me clarify WHAT I need. I need the DRIVERS. Not the updated software in a trial version. Also, if you were referring to the driver below it... that's a no-go either. I did mention this is a legacy (motherboard) sound card, did I not? And that it came with the FX6800? If you would've done your research, you'd realize that the link you gave me is truly useless, since I cannot reinstall the X-Fi MB software, it was pre-installed WITH the computer. But is there anyway to just download the driver only and somehow reinitialize the software with just a reboot? If not, then this link is rubbish. I should, perhaps, also clarify WHY I want the updated drivers. I am an avid fan of Sony ACID, and I have an official copy that I paid for. And whenever I use ACID, the drum kits never work properly. They'll sound like an organ, or a piano, or whatever, but they won't sound like drums. What can I do to fix this? Will updating to newer drivers solve this problem at all? I would assume that the only part of the computer that can adress this issue IS the sound card, and that's why I want an updated driver set. So to be frank, what I really need is a solution to this problem; if you could give me an answer, I would be eternally gratefull to [email protected]

  • Equium M40x-189 - What drivers/utilities I need to install?

    Dear All,
    Equium m40x-189
Reloaded Windows XP, but havent found the Toshiba Utilities and drivers disk that must have come with the lappy, not a lot works and in Device Manager there are a load of devices with yellow alerts.
The internal wireless is not seeable, nor is a wireless card slotted into the PCMI expansion slot on the side.
These are just the first things I noticed were not available. Need wireless to get to the internet to register Windies.
I am not sure which drivers/utilities I need to download and install from the Toshiba download drivers web site.
Is there such a thing as a list or instructions any where that details what drivers/utilities are required to make all the 'bits' work on a newly Windows loaded laptop.?
Any help would be of immense value.
    Best regards
    Mark

    Hi
As you already said on the Toshiba European driver download page you can download all necessary drivers and tools for your notebook.
Furthermore on the website you will find the installation instructions document. Use this list as a recommended driver and software installation order.
I think this is such a list that you mean so check this!!!
Last but not least I think must install every driver and download on the Toshiba page because they are necessary for a properly working notebook.
If you have more questions, please let us know.

I read somewhere on HP's site that windows 7 drivers for this TX2 - 1027CA won't be available until October 2009. Still I am using it now, and the main system is running fine. There is an issue around the fingerprint reader, and possibly the webcam for me at this stage. Until HP delivers updated drivers, I wondered if there might be beta versions of drivers for the TX2 I might try. I'm willing to keep using windows 7, but I'd like to try to install updated drivers asap. That's possibly two months away, and one month into the OS availability to MSDN subscribers (many businesses and developers). I'm guessing there are some other people reading this list who have found what is and isn't possible on the TX2 today under 7. Would you mind giving us a brief run down on what drivers are working or not working? Fingerprint reader and webcam are of high interest for starters. My goal is to get working what can be working.

  • What drivers need to be installed on a target in order to run an executable that uses USRP VIs?

    Thanks for your help, Sam.
My VIs aren't runnable because they are missing dependencies, including usrp.dll.
    I'm using USRP-2930 with LabVIEW 2013 and TestStand 2013.
So the NI-USRP 1.2 driver needs to be installed on the target machine as a separate install, even though it appears to be a development install?
Whenever I deploy code to a target machine, I build the executable (which includes any code dependencies, including certain dlls, which it puts in the "Data" directory by default) and then build an installer, which optionally includes all the necessary drivers and LabVIEW Run-time Engine.  I've never run into anything that falls outside this process, like it appears the NI-USRP driver does.  It doesn't seem to get pulled into the executable as a dependency and doesn't show up in the list of includable installers when building an installer in LabVIEW.
I'll try out the NI-USRP 1.2 driver install on the target machine and see if that fixes the problem.
This situation creates a further problem when trying to create a deployment install from TestStand.  Since the dependencies aren't automatically pulled in, TestStand detects that the VIs are now broken and aborts the install.  How do I get around that problem?
    Thanks again,

    Hi !
Few days ago bought a new laptop.
Today I did format , and I wanted to ask you , what drivers should I install , because in my opinion all drivers are not needed , but I want to hear your opinion I have already installed Atheros Ethernet driver to get connection to the internet , and I made Windows Update .
What should I do now ?
    Please give me an advice

    Hi
You should check the status in the device manager.
Im not quite sure what Wlan card your notebook supports but here is a nice FAQ how to find drivers for unknown devices:

I cant find them at this homepage.

    Windows XP.

    Hi
I assume you have installed your OS manually and know you try to install the Toshiba drivers. ;)
Did you check the Toshiba driver page?
If not so do it. There you will find all necessary drivers and the installation instruction.
You have to follow this guide line in this document and all drivers will work.
Ps: Ethernet controller, Network controller -> Install the Wlan driver and the Lan driver

  • What drivers do I need?

I have a ThinkPad T41 type: 2379 DJU, I am going to do a clean install of the operating system and was told by tech support I would have to then load the drivers. There is a list of drivers for my computer here but do I need them all? I want to be prepared for my reinstall and plan to download the drivers I need before I do anything to the computer. I'm going to put them on a disc or thumb drive for ease of installing them.
Any suggestions on what I will need or how to go about this task, as I have never done this before?

Hi, I am no expert when it comes to computers and was having a few problems with drivers when someone reccomended Uniblue Driver scanner. (check it out here)   http://www.liutilities.com/products/driverscanner/  ) the trial version will tell you what drivers are missing or in need of update but you have to find and install them yourself. I purchased it for 20.00gbp and it checks, collects, and installs the drivers for you, I only had one problem using this when one of the updates didnt work but you can roll back easily to previous version. I did this after I re-installed XP Pro.
Hope this is of some use
