All you need is a plug adapter...the chargers are rated 110-240 volts at 50-60 Hz so will work virtually anywhere.
Plug adapters can be purchased in the States at places like Radio Shack, or at most international airports.

Just bought a new 4th gen iPod Shuffle for my kid. Problem is I cannot do the initial set up, as the device does not show up on iTunes on my PC. Also the charging does not light up. Any ideas on what could be wrong, as I am able to see both my iphone and iPad on iTunes using the same PC?
I also tried manually underlining a few things on the new iPad and when highlighting a paragraph, it would skip a few lines and the line would go through a few as well. Looks like a major iBooks glitch needs to be addressed here.

I am traveling to the Philippines next week and am confused on whether I need to buy a converter to be able to charge my Iphone (and Ipad). I was told I did not as the chargers were universal and automatically converted anywhere from 100 to 240v depending on what you plug into.
I would just like some more confirmations if any one has traveled internationally.
Thank you.No, but most international airports I have been to have convenience stores that sell the plug adapters. And there are always other shops with the adapters so it is easy to get exactly what you need after you get there.

I gave my ipad 2 to my brother last month. After that he erased all content and settings, sign in with his apple id. The next day until now, I found out that I can not udpate my apps both on my iPhone and iPad Air. I had create new apple id, change my password, delete the icloud acc. 1. It is never a good idea to include personal info like your email address or Apple ID in a post on an open forum.
2. The email you received DOES NOT say your Apple ID cannot be used to unlock this iPad. The email informs you that your Apple ID was used to unlock an iPad. Fortunately the iPad is yours. The message confirms that. If your Apple ID was used to unlock an iPad that was not yours your would then know to change your password. Since the iPad is yours you do not need to change your password.

If it was an audiobook then they are one-time only downloads, to get it on your other devices you need to sync it to them and not re-download it oneach. Trying to update my software (iPhone and iPad) it says my iTunes software needs to be updated, but it is already is. I try this over and over again. I've already reinstalled iTunes and have shut down and restarted my Mac several times. How can I fix this?

Depends on whether your carrier supports Personal Hotspot & how/if they charge for this feature. Some carriers include Personal Hotspot as part of your data plan, some require it be provisioned on your account. Contact your carrier & see what their requirements are. The fact that you have the Personal Hotspot setting indicates your carrier supports this feature.

What product can I buy that will supply portable power to my MacBook Pro, iPhone and iPad when I am flying?
I recently was on an extended trip and the port for charging at my seat was not working.Unfortuntly you can't.
The Apple Airline adapter is only meant to keep a fully charged battery from draining, however with newer computers requiring more power, they tend to drain the battery AND the power at the same time, thus require more power hook up without the computer running to charge the battery.
Since your iPhone and iPad charge off USB, that's going to drain the MacBook Pro battery as well.
To generate enough power to charge all three will require a portable generator which of course can't be used on a plane.
The best you can do is have all three charged up before you board the plane, and use each for as long as you can.
