What files does the slideshow create in Windows

I have just received a 60GB video ipod and am doing some homework before I go and start to load content. I am running Windows XP and have gone out and bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 to manage my pictures. Is this the only Win PC software that can work for creating slideshows? What extra files will this create, does it roll up the photos into a new large file with audio, is it just a pointer file for the ipod to understand where the pics are, what do I need to copy to my ipod apart from the actual pictures and what file do I run for the slideshow? If I have thousands of pictures, I presume I can just create separate slideshow files in the respective folders and then create a playlist of the slideshows? I thought I saw either wmv or pdf as the PC file formats that are created for the slideshows which I was a bit surprised at. Also, does the music I create for the slideshow remain separate or and just pointed to - can I use an mp3 file or do I ned aac (or is this just for video), or does it all get rolled up? I have Adobe Elements 4 I know you can save your Photo Slideshow in wmv format. I love the new "panning" effect in Elements 4, I think that's what you refer to as the "Slideshow Video". However, I think you need to check out Microsoft PhotoStory 3 (a free download from Microsoft website). I'm no Microsoft fan, but honestly, you can create a video photo slideshow/PhotoStory in less than 5 minutes. Unlike Photoshop Elements, PhotoStory 3 is much easier because it uses the "wizard" approach. Check it out. In no time, you can create the video slideshow, save it in .wmv format. Then I use a tool to convert the .wmv file to .mp4 file.
People who asked why you would want to make a slideshow video obviously miss out the latest fun in sharing photos as moving pictures!!! It's so much fun than just watching static pictures with music. It impressed my friends so much!

I am having a problem with my Mac reading my .MOD files that are being downloaded from my videocamera. I have a JVC Everio and they put the video files on my computer as .MOD as of right now my computer says they cannot read them. The first time I went to the Apple store they said to download .mpeg streamclip and that would convert the files to .MOV yet again that didnt work. When I just went back to the Apple store they said the new iLife 09 would need to conversion....so my question is and please somebody help me....will the new iLife work with .MOD files?!! and if I have a Mac 10.4.11 will I need to buy the new leopard for the iLife to work??

Your .MOD files are MPEG2. The Apple Store put you on the right track with MPEG Streamclip, but you also need to buy the Apple QuickTIme MPEG2 Playback Component (costs $20, and you can download from the online Apple Store.)
Once you have installed this, I think that MPEG Streamclip will work to convert your files. Convert them to Apple Intermediate Codec in the same dimensions that your camera shoots in.
iMovie 08 will work just as well once you have converted the files in Streamclip. So, there are a lot of good reasons to upgrade to iMovie 09, but this is not one of them.

If your camera is on it, you can connect your camera to your Mac and import directly. Otherwise the MPEG Streamclip solution will work,

I don't know what OS you are using, or what application you are using to view the data about your exported files, but on Windows and using Windows Explorer the "Date Created" field relates only to the date that the exported file was created, i.e. if viewed immediately after export it will show the date created as being the same date. In order to view "Capture Date" in something like Explorer, you first have to ensure you have included the Metadata as Conrad outlined above, then you have to adjust the display properties of Explorer to show the "Date Taken" field. Here is an example, part of a folder I exported back on March 3rd, note the difference between that last two dates:

The workflow manager configuration wizard crashes with the below error when used a domain account (setup account with full prvilige on sql and server). It requires some specific permissions on AD ? I couldnt see any documentation stating what permission
it requires.

What exactly does the Radio Beacon Indicate

I have seen cases where the Radio Beacon is black and when it is gray. When it's black you may or may not be able to go through the wireless router to the modem and then to the internet. When it is gray, you cannot really do anything except be in a local mode. However there are instances when the Radio Beacon is black, rather than gray, and you still cannot access the internet. So, what exactly does the activated Radio Beacon Indicate, i.e., that the wireless network is working and the modem is down, or something else entirely ?

Assuming you're referring to the Airport icon in the menu bar, 'clear/empty' means Airport is turned off, gray bars means Airport is on but not connected to a network, and black bars means Airport is on and connected to a network. Other possible icon states are solid gray with a little computer inset, meaning you're connected to a computer-to-computer created on the Mac, and gray bars with an exclamation point (10.6 only), meaning connected to a network but not authenticated (e.g. wrong password for an 801.2X corporate/university network).
To your question, it's perfectly possible to be successfully connected to a network (black icon) and unable to access the internet. Situations like that would include the network requiring a proxy server, for which you haven't set up the details on in Network Preferences, or you're connected to an open network that requires you to enter information or agree to terms (e.g. a hotel network, where you need to put in your room number and agree to the charges before you can connect to the internet).

MAIN WINDOW :- In a main window you display text and data, which can cover several pages (flow text). As soon as a main window is completely filled with text and data, the system continues displaying the text in the main window of the next page. It automatically triggers the page break.
You can define only have one window in a form as main window.
The main window must have the same width on each page, but can differ in height.
A page without main window must not call itself as next page, since this would trigger an endless loop. In such a case, the system automatically terminates after three pages.
VARIABLE WINDOW :- The contents of variable windows is processed again for each page, on which the window appears. The system outputs only as much text as fits into the window. Text exceeding the window size is truncated; the system does not trigger a page break. Unlike constant windows, the page windows declared as variable windows may have different sizes on different form pages.
As far as the processing of the window contents is concerned, the system currently treats constant and variable windows alike. The only difference is that constant windows have the same size throughout the form.

After installing the new Colour Management Module, I now have the new option of 'Adobe CMM' as well as the old 'Adobe ACE' and 'Microsoft ICM' in Photoshop CS3 and other Adobe applications.

anyone got any ideas why my digital (raw) images from the camera - once downloaded to computer present when viewed in explorer photo /fax viewer as the colours which they print with yet if I save the image into Photoshop elements V5 to crop, zoom, and otherwise manipulate they look EXTREMELY washed out in photoshop V5. Isn't Outlook simply an email client or a software application on a computer? You can add an email account - whatever email provider that you use - right on the iPad. You can sync your Outlook contacts and calendar if that is what you are asking about, but Outlook itself has nothing to do with the iPad.

at what temperature does the P4's start to throttle down? my P4 3.0 ghz is about 54-55 degrees celsius at idle and about 57-58 in load mode, is it a chance that it starts to throttle at this temps?
the temps are in windows mode and mesaured in MotherBoard Monitor

70C is the figure I have seen.

May I please ask, what exactly does the TV check when I choose "check network connection"?
In other words, when I click the "check network connection", what IP address / servers and ports does it communicate to? What checks does it do?
Because my TV cannot establish a network connection via settings, but the browser works perfectly well,

Then, if failed also on my PC, I would turn to my ISP with the results, as I believe it is the one to fault.

I'm making the book for children and there is one chapter providing coloring pages. So I wish to attach pdf files that allow users to download it at the end of chapter so that they can print it out. Been searching through discussion, I've found some advice about taking screen snapshot page-by-page > then send the pics from photo album to email. However, I'm wondering if there's a way that make the process easier.

Warehouse that PDF on your own server, then link to it from your book.

There is no option to set it explicitly.

Siva,
In receiving adapter you can't set the status. The receiving QOS is set in the pipeline by using the Sender Comm.channel QOS.
So for example in SOAP to SOAP scenario, if you set the Sender comm.channel as BE, then through out the Pipeline till it reaches the Receiver Comm.channel the QOS will be considered as BE only( Even though you didn't explicitly said to the Receiver comm.channel).
