What filter to kill this annying buzz?

Hi - Above is a link to some audio I'm trying to clean up (from an old tape cassette). You'll notice the high-level buzz. Am I being over-ambitious in thinking that I can totally elimenate this? I've tried messing (literally, I'm a nwebie) with a number of the filters but with little success. The best, so far, was to use the Noise Reduction option. This attenuates the noise quite successfully but renders the voices of my lovely family to that of heartless robot (hell bent on total domination of the universe).
Any pointers very much appreciated.

Looking at your sample most of the buzz is in the left channel. So you can get a great improvement by using the right channel only. You can acheive this by using the Fill Right preset from Effects/Amplitude and Compression/Channel mixer.
The robotic effect is because you have tried to use too much noise reduction. Having done the above and selected a portion of buzz only to Capture Noise Print use only about 10dB of noise reduction at about 60%.

It's just another image overlayed on top with a blending mode like screen.

What is happening in this plan

Hi Please take a look at the below query and its plan. The Step 9 in the Plan applies the condition (ebill.is_synced_to_orig = 0 OR ebill.is_synced_to_orig IS NULL). but since it is a index scan it only applies is_synced_to_orig = 0 condition. But ideally the other selectivity should also be considered somewhere else right. but I could not see that in the plan.
Is oracle skipping that condition?? much appreciate if someone can say what is happening in this plan for is_synced_to_orig IS NULL condition. thanks...

Well, if the column is declared as NOT NULL and you ask for all rows such that the column = 1 OR it is null then really you are asking for all data where the column = 1 since by definition, there cannot be nulls (the NOT NULL constraint on the column prohibits NULL data from occurring).
Make sense?
Now, i'm not saying that's what your issue is, but since i haven't seen what your tables look like ... it's as good a guess as i can muster.

lines.... I don't understand why you are so opposed to an xml parser. You could have spent 3 hours learning how to use it and been done with this problem in the time you've spent trying to hack your way around it.

I agree- I apologize if I sounded skeptical and attacking. In no way did I mean it to sound that way.
I completely agree on the software-hardware combo issue- this is why apple killed off 1G and 2G devices- because newer software revisions would never ever run well if at all on such ancient devices. can you imagine running iOS 6 on an iPhone/iPod touch 1G? That would be terrible. Let alone iOS 3 runs terrible on them and now are generally rendered useless due to newer App Store requirements (most require 4.3+ now to allow apple to kill off the older devices). forcing newer software on older hardware (apple, dell, HP,... Anything electronic this definitely applies to) will almost always yield less-than-par results. The other part is apple forcing you to upgrade by means of intentially making things obsolete. all companies do that.
All of this factual info aside, the issue at hand with the 5 is not a software-hardware combo problem- those are most widely seen with the major revisions. then again, this isn't the first time apple has gotten caught up in battery drain snafus (even iOS 5 was plagued with this as well- and now there are some people desperate to roll back but can't). it basically waters it down to the point where keeping the stock software will always yield the best results even though newer versions provide better features- it all depends on whether or not the person deems the added features are worth a performance hit.
PS. I'm still at 100%- and I've been using it periodically throughout the day. your combo worked for you, but didn't for me. And may or may not work for others- As the tech world would say, mileage may vary.

Hi All. I was wondering what filter is it that it looks like light is coming in from the side of the screen. It has an orange and yellow tint to it. The filter looks like someone was shooting on film and the film got over exposed. If anyone could please help me find that filter. Lots of extreme sports shows use it like surfing and other sports. Thanks.

Do you happen to know if there is a noise reduction feature in regular Soundtrack (the non-Pro version)? I know there is a great one in the Pro version that can analyze a section of the track and then apply a noise reduction feature to the entire track. I doubt my version has this feature, but if it does, where is it, and how does one use it?

If you have a frame labelled "2" then it should be:

One of my ex-colleagues has installed a NI-DAQ 6.5 in our system. [And I do not see any other naitional instruments card in the CPU of the computer, may be he removed it] I deleted the account and all his files in the system. When I am trying to install version8.0, its not getting installed and giving me a message that I should uninstall the previous version by going to Add/Remove programs in the control panel.
I tried doing that, but the "Change/Remove" button does not seem to work...[There is no response and so unable to install the new version...]
Any idea how can this problem be solved?
It is a windowsXP operating system with SP2 installed on a machine with P4 processor.

I am having the same problem with brand new Ipad Mini at my house.
It connects to the WiFi fine - but will not pull an IP address in DHCP mode, or if I set all the IP info statically - it still will not get any network access.
This doesn't look like a WiFi issue, as it does connect and is seen by the WiFi Access Point. All the normal WiFi fix stuff doesn't help.
- Using a Dlink DAP-2553 which is less than 2 months old.
Other devices connect fine, including Ipad 2.
This same Mini worked fine at another house and also connected to a mobile hotspot fine....so seems to be some weird IP issue with maybe this Access Point or maybe the older Router that I have (older Netgear)?
I am actually a network engineer and still have not been able to find a solution. Both the Ipad Mini and the Dlink WAP have the latest firmware loaded.

you are correct. The Custom HTML Store that we have developed worked just fine. What about Custom HTML Libraries?
I compared the file AdobeLibraryAPI.js from r23 and r25 and they are quite different.
Up to r24, the Custom HTML Library was incompatible with Custom HTML Store. Apparently, the Store API (adobe.dps.store) was replaced by the Library API (adobeDPS.libraryService). Can you confirm if this is still the case?
Also, I really need a way to switch from one application state to another, something like adobe.dps.store.goToLibrary() or adobe.dps.store.goTo('library'). Is there anyway to achieve this? Maybe using the Library API?
