What fonts are necessary for Apple email?

I use Extensis Fusion 6 for font management and was shuffling some things for around for best practices. Anyhow, I've removed a font(s) that are specifically required for Apple email to run properly. They haven't been trashed, just moved (temporarily) to the desktop.
Now, I'm not able to use my email. It opens, but crashes shortly after opening. I'm wondering if anyone knows what the required fonts are for email to run properly. I've likely removed an Apple typestyle that is required.
I can use gmail and am able to go onto the web in a variety of browsers. The issue is just with Apple email and it occurred after I moved the fonts out.
I'm currently reading my email on my laptop and forwarding any required files to my desktop via gmail. But this isn't very efficient.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your quick reply. Yes, I know that replacing the fonts back into the folder would be the easiest thing to do. Seeing as how I have many, many fonts I would prefer only to replace the necessary ones. IF there is a list somewhere on the Apple site that people are aware of which identifies the necessary fonts for Apple mail, I would prefer to drop only those ones back into the folder.
To be honest, I think the removal of Marker Felt is causing the issue. It may be that I drop the typestyles back in one at a time. But again, if a list is out there?
Thanks again.

    But the newest Mac notebooks do not have a firewire port.
    So he may need a TB to FW adapter, $29, a FW 400 or 800 cable, $??, and then a FW 400 to 800 cable/port adapter (If the old Mac only has a FW 400 port), $??.
    It is unknown if the old Mac has a FW 400 or 800 port.

  • HT6160 What ports are used for Apple Configurator to function with IPads?

    Need to know what ports need to be allowed for Apple Configurator to function.

    Apple Configurator runs locally on an OS X computer. It requires a USB connection. So no ports required for connecting Configurator to iPads.
    However, there are some ports that need to be opened for iPads to work with Apple's server if you are behind a firewall. Here is a list of known TCP and UDP ports used by Apple software products: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6175?viewlocale=en_US
    To use iPads behind a firewall (Configurator or not), you'll want to definitely open 5223 for Apple Push Notification and the standard ports for HTTP/HTTPS (80 and 443). If you're using an MDM, you will likely need to open 2195 and 2196 as well.  If you still have issues port watch and see what an iPad does when trying to get to the store.
    Hope this answers your question!

  • Can someone explain the difference in what Passwords are required for Apple sites?

    It seems that every time I want to login to MobileMe, or the Apps store or this Forum site my passwords rarely work and I end up resetting the one I'm trying to use.
    I do keep track of my passwords.   So, I'm wondering if each site I listed needs a different password.  Plus, I continually get errors in my MacMail.  It shows an error that needs a password for my IMAP... can't remember exactly what it says...
    I hope that's enough info for someone to help me out.... thx

    Hi..
    It seems that every time I want to login to MobileMe, or the Apps store or this Forum site my passwords rarely work and I end up resetting the one I'm trying to use.
    Might be corrupted keychains. Your passwords are stored in Keychain Access.
    Launch Keychain Access located in /Applications/Utilities
    Select Passwords on the left.
    Type   mobileme   in the search field top right corner of the window.
    Now right or control click that keychain then click Delete.
    Now type  daw   in the search field.  (that's your access to the Apple forums),
    Right or control click the daw.apple.com keychain then click Delete.
    Now from the Keychain Access menu bar top of your screen click Keychain Access > Keychain First Aid. Enter your admin password then click Verify, if necessary, click Repair.
    Now launch the App Store. From that menu bar top of your screen click Store > Sign In
    Enter your Apple ID and current password. Click Yes when prompted to save that data to a new keychain.
    Do the same for MobileMe and the Apple forums.

  • What properties are necessary for copy

    Hi,
    I've implemented a repositor manager and am testing copy function. Copying documents into my repository manager is OK, but when I try to copy a document from my repository to another EP place like /documents, it always failed with an error message  Cannot assign an empty string to host variable 4.
    I think when copy, the properties and content of the source object will be retrieved. in getProperties() I have the following:
    <code>
    properties.add(SystemPropertyFactory.createCollectionProperty(false));
    properties.add(SystemPropertyFactory.createContentTypeProperty("application/octet-stream"));
    properties.add(SystemPropertyFactory.createDisplayNameProperty("mytitle"));
    properties.add(SystemPropertyFactory.createReadOnlyProperty(true));
    properties.add(SystemPropertyFactory.createContentLengthProperty(888));
    </code>
    and in getContent() I return BufferedInputStream.
    So why there should be empty or null string...
    Thanks,
    Ray

    Hi Gurus,
    Please help why there's an error <u>
    Cannot assign an empty string to host variable 4
    </u> when I wanna copy a document of my repository manager into other documents. In fact, sometimes it works on one EP but fails on another. So where can I see the log for copy?
    Thanks,

  • Is there a grace period for apple email address?

    Hey guys I was wondering if there was a grace period for apple email address yourname@'insert apple domain name'.com once you deactivate or delete it before it can be used again?
    for example with phone numbers for certain companies it takes 2yrs once the number is disconnected for it to be available to be used again.
    Which leads into why i'm asking this, as the reason for this is I had an apple ID/email address that i used when working for an apple reseller a few years ago and when i left i was asked to delete it. which i did but i would like to use the yourname part of it again with @icloud.com but its saying the email address is already in use.
    Now i know what you might say that someone else could be using in but thats is very unlikely as i have a very unique name plus i also know that apple in their infinite wisdom kept all address ending in @me.com and @apple.com active in the icloud change over to allow association between @me.com accounts and @icloud.com accounts and i believe the later is the cause of my fustration.
    If there is no grace period is there anyway to prove that i was [email protected] and delete that record so that i can setup [email protected] as the apple ID in question are different?

  • What updates are available for Mac OS X 10.5.8 (9L30)?

    What updates are available for Mac OS X 10.5.8 (9L30)?

    Before embarking on a major OS upgrade, it would be wise, advisable and very prudent if you backup your current system to an external connected and Mac formatted Flash drive OR externally connected USB, Thunderbolt or FireWire 800, Mac formatted hard drive. Then, use either OS X Time Machine app to backup your entire system to the external drive OR purchase, install and use a data cloning app, like CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper, to make an exact and bootable copy (clone) of your entire Mac's internal hard drive. This step is really needed in case something goes wrong with the install of the new OS or you simply do not like the new OS, you have a very easy way/procedure to return your Mac to its former working state.
    Then, determine if your Mac meets ALL minimum system install requirements.
    Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard system requirements
    Purchased Installer disc here.
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
    To install Snow Leopard for the first time, you must have a Mac with:
    An Intel processor
    An internal or external DVD drive, or DVD or CD Sharing
    At least 1 GB of RAM (additional RAM is recommended)
    A built-in display or a display connected to an Apple-supplied video card supported by your computer
    At least 5 GB of disk space available, or 7 GB of disk space if you install the developer tools
    Installing and updating OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard to OS X 10.6.8 gives your Mac access to the Mac App Store where you can decide which version of OS X to upgrade to, again, if you desire.
    OS X Lion system requirements
    Purchased emailed download code here.
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
    To use Lion, make sure your computer has the following:
    An Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
    Mac OS X v10.6.6 or later to install via the Mac App Store (v10.6.8 recommended)
    7 GB of available disk space
    2 GB of RAM
    To install OS X  10.8 Mountain Lion or OS X 10.10 Yosemite.you need one of these Macs:
    OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion purchased emailed download code here.
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/D6377Z/A/os-x-mountain-lion
    iMac (Mid-2007 or later)
    MacBook (13-inch Aluminum, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 or later)
    MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2009 or later),
    MacBook Pro (15-inch or 17-inch, Mid/Late 2007 or later)
    MacBook Air (Late 2008 or later)
    Mac mini (Early 2009 or later)
    Mac Pro (Early 2008 or later)
    Xserve (Early 2009)
    Your Mac also needs:
    OS X Mountain Lion, Lion, or Snow Leopard v10.6.8 already installed
    2 GB or more of memory (I strongly advise, at least, 4 GBs of RAM or more)
    8 GB or more of available space.
    Your year and model Mac can take a total of 6 GBs of RAM, max..
    I strongly suggest you install the max. RAM your Mac can take.
    Correct, compatible and reliable Mac RAM can ONLY be purchased from online RAM sources Crucial memory or OWC (macsales.com).
    OWC is the only source for the  6 GB RAM kit.
    Next,
    If you run any older Mac software from the earlier PowerPC Macs, then none of this software will work with the newer OS X versions (10.7 and onward). OS X Snow Leopard had a magical and invisible PowerPC emulation application, called Rosetta, that worked seamlessly in the background that still allowed older PowerPC coded software to still operate in a Intel CPU Mac.
    The use of Rosetta ended with OS X Snow Leopard as the Rosetta application was licensed to Apple, from a software company called Transitive, which got bought out, I believe, by IBM and Appe  could no longer secure their rights to continue to use Rosetta in later versions of OS X.
    So, you would need to check to see if you have software on your Mac that maybe older than, say, 2006 or older.
    Also, check for app compatibilty  here.
    http://roaringapps.com/
    If you have any commercial antivirus installed and/or hard drive cleaning apps installed on your Mac, like MacKeeper, CleanMyMac, TuneUpMyMac, MacCleanse, etc. now would be a good time to completely uninstall this apps by doing a Google search to learn how to properly uninstall these types of apps.
    These types of apps will only cause your Mac issues later after the install of the new OS X version and you will have to completely uninstall these types of apps later.
    Once you have determined all of this, you should be able to find the latest versions of OS X by clicking on the Mac App Store icon in the OS X Dock and then login to the Mac App Store using your Apple ID and password and using the appropriate download codes need
    You can then begin the download and installation process of installing your desired versions of OS X  from the Mac App Store.

  • What does it take for Apple to replace a Lemon?

    PowerBook G4 failures to date:

    Logic Board failure (3rd one)
    Airport card failure
    Random power failures
    Replacement power pack
    Continuing random power failures

    So what did it take for Apple to replace your Lemon?

    Human contact is the key. It sometimes helps to have face-to-face contact at an Apple Certified Service Center or Apple Store, as you may never know who is on the other end of your phone call (and vice versa). This way they can certify that you are not a crazy person who is abusing you powerbook, and they may have more time to test your computer until a problem surfaces, which they can then report to Apple. An ACSS can lobby on your behalf for a replacement more convincingly than you can on your own, as their professional opinion may carry more weight.
    Apple replaced my 12" without a problem after replacing the logic board three times (constant unexplained kernel panics from all three). (I have heard from some that three can be the magic number.) Generally, you can argue that more than one logic board replacement is simply not cost effective for a laptop, as the board itself plus labor almost equals the cost of a new machine!
    Establishing a record of problems early on is also helpful, as Apple can become wary of someone trying to score an upgrade several months after a computer is purchased.

    Hi Vinay,
    1. For DP_PROC_TY  you need to give the transaction type or R/3 document type you want to use for creating direct material POs. Could be ECDP given in the standard or copy of which you might  have created.
    2. For CT_PROC_TY it is either PCTR or GCTR depending what you want to create local contract or GOA.
    3. TEND_TYPE can have BID, RFCR etc depending on what type of bid invitaion you want to create form sourcing cockpit or as follow on bid invitaion.
