What gets saved when backing up?

Hello All.
When I use i-tunes to back up my music, please can someone tell me if it automatically saves the album artwork as well? I spent a long time ptting missing album covers on and I wouldn't want to lose them all! If it doesn't automatically save them, can you also tell me what I need to do to back up the the covers as well? Many Thanks for taking the time to read this!

If you have saved them in the Get Info box, they are part of the song file, so if the file is saved, the art is saved.

What state gets saved when a JPD goes to frozen state?

I need to know what state of JPD gets saved when it goes into frozen state after some error. Is it just the non-transient member variables that get persisted? Or is there any information about the point at which the failure occurs in the JPD's execution flow?
For example, lets say that I have a stateful JPD which does the following:
1) Initialize a BufferedFileReader from the input file path
2) Read the file line-by-line:
for (; (this.currentLine = this.reader.readLine()) != null; )
++this.currentLineIndex;
doWork();
If there's a failure while processing, say line# N, then will I be able to get this 'currentLineIndex' value when I unfreeze the JPD and utilize it to seek the file till that line and start from there? From where will the JPD start execution when I unfreeze it? With what state of member variables and from what method/node/line will it start?
I don't know how it works internally, any information regarding what state/execution-context gets persisted when a JPD freezes will be helpful.

A failure causes the transaction that was processing to rollback, so all state changes are lost since the previous commit point. What get's frozen is the request message that started processing of the current transaction.
When the process is unfrozen, the original request message is dispatched causing a new transaction to start and the request is processed again.

All settings are saved during backup.
I manually setup my mail accounts and don't sync them.
With each update of the firmware, all is wiped and put back on and my settings are always there.
I beleive the only thing that doesn't get backed up is your Camera Roll (photos you took with phone). Could be wrong though. Think they may of changed that somewhere along the line.
Settings of everything are saved (preferences, cookies, saved data from applications you installed, etc). All other content is on your computer (music, videos, apps, etc).

Hi, I"m a bit new to the iPod/iTunes thing but fairly computer savey, but with that said, Originally we had 3 iPods all using the same (aol) iTunes log-on. I realized that going forward, this would cause issues. So I proceded to create seperate user accounts. Doing so, I also had updated the iPods, but before I did, I preformed a "Back up" through iTunes. I thought that this would save any important data (game saves) but when I got them back up from the "Restore" process everything was gone. I am currently downloading all the 300+ apps that are associated with the aol log on. I'll transfer, somehow, the apps to each new user account.
My question is, if I can succesfully get everthing else back, did my back up save the game progress data? or am I "BLANK" (insert bad word here) out of luck????

I must also add, I have the old iTunes account on another Hard Drive. I just put in another hard drive into a computer and transfered each iPod to this new HDD. So, I can still access the old iTunes that's on the old hard drive...hopeing that they even have back ups of the ipod there...

According to this article, you can upload 10,000 photos/day to Photo Stream, but apparently (not mentioned in this article) you can only keep 1,000 photos in your photo stream? Is that right? Then what is the point of being able to upload 10,000 per day, if only 1,000 of those will get saved? I'm confused.

You're welcome. Since photo stream is completely free, and doesn't use your iCloud storage plan, Apple has to put some limits on it. It's really desiged to sync photos across your devices temporarily (30 days), giving you time to save the photos you want to keep. If you have a Mac, you can also set iPhoto to automatically save photo stream photos to your iPhoto library for permanent archieval; don't know if there is a similare option on the Windows side.
If you're on vacation, you might want to use an alternative cloud storage option like Dropbox. You could use then use the Dropbox app to upload all the photos you want, provided you purchase sufficient storage, and they would be kept permanently until removed.

What gets copied when you copy a warehouse?

We are debating whether to copy one of our existing warehouses or the SAP standard for our new warehouse setup.
Does someone know what are the things that get copied when you copy a warehouse ? (eg storage types , Storage locations etc.... ) Would any customized transactions that we have in our existing warehouse be copied ( eg: customized RF transactions etc)

If you are in your Inbox then tap your account id at the top left of your Inbox to go up a level and tap the Drafts mailbox to view your drafts - you should then be able to select the email and continue writing/editing it.

What Gets Saved in a Lightroom BACKUP??

Have lightroom 1.0. Its asking to backup once a week. What am I backing up???
I usually import new pictures onto my D: drive into their own folders from my camera card. At other times I import pictures on the D: drive and have lightroom import them but leave them where they are. I have 2 other drives I can use for backup if I need.
Am I just backing up the links to the pictures and the adjustments I made in Develop...OR...am I backing up the original pictures too??
Any preferred workflow on this? I know I dont want an unprotected drive failure situation with my D: drive - but what is the best thing to do?
I backup my original pictures on the D: drive onto a data DVD for archive immediately after import - so at least I have originals I can get back to. Does lightroom backup these original pictures too?

What elements are in the library file??
Im guessing the library file has pointers to images in the grid view and their rankings?
How about any development adjustments I make to the originals? Are they saved in this library file possibly too?
So, to do a real smart backup - it seems like I have to replicate all my original images and their directories - AND this LIBRARY file. Whats its name and location?

What to do when 'Back' button is pressed on the browser

In my APEX application, 2 of my pages have updateable reports.
When I carry out the following sequence of steps :
* enter data into the first updateable report page,
* submit the page
* branch to the second updateable report page by clicking on a 'next' button
* click on the 'Back' button in the browser
* this takes you back to the first updateable report page
* click on 'next' to branch to the second updateable report page again
the following error message is encountered :
Error in mru internal routine: ORA-20001: Error in MRU: row= 1, ORA-20001: ORA-20001: Current version of data in database has changed since user initiated update process. current checksum = "906775940285549CB76B11266BA4E3FF", item checksum = "D52870AB188799BE563B8BE7E53DB2AF"., update <name of table that updeable report is based on>
How can I prevent this error message from appearing when the user clicks 'back' and then submits the page?

Thanks for sticking with it. I read (past tense) the OP's description both ways.

So I don't know what the exact scenario really is, but it seems to me that if you submit a page and it updates the row and the page branches back to itself, the resulting page now current in the browser is "submittable" whether you submit it at once or navigate (by redirect) away from it and then go back through the browser history to retrieve it and then submit it. That the OP got the error she got makes me think the Next button is an Apply Changes and Fetch Next Row kind of button.
In any case, I don't think clearing session state is a remedy.

Why didnt my photos get saved when my iPad was restored?

I left my room for maybe 5 minutes when I returned my iPad some how shut off and went into recovery mood as if I just got it out the box again I pluged it into my pc an opened iTunes and called apple I was told to restore it then it worked again. I told it to restore last back up but it didn't reload my pervious apps, photos, videos, nothing only contacts and photo stream. I was very disappointed with this I had some very impotent photos and videos saved on to it and I lost all of them.

Had you backed up your iPad recently? Apps and videos are not contained in the backup, only data and photos taken with the device.
Media should reside on your computer or you can reload purchased apps and videos from the cloud.

Saving iChat IMs - what gets saved & where?

I was looking for information that I received in an IM this past week and when I went to look for the saved IMs - I could only find a few. I thought all IMs saved as default, or are only ones that I initiated saved? Or maybe I am looking in the wrong place. I found the random saved messages in user>myname>documents>iChats. I IM to several family members each day, so should have a huge folder of saved IMs!

Interesting.
I used to try with ichat 2 and iChat 3 and can not remember if I have tried it with iChat 4
It may be a change within the Application's software.
After some random testing I found I can pull my own pictures for 2004 iChats and at least one I found as an incoming pic from around the same time.
I also tried some that were marked as File downloads in the chats and they seem to be stored in /Private/Var somewhere. (it's a support sort of folder that is Hidden normally)
I shall remember this. Thanks for the heads up.

Do your photos get saved when you do a full backup?

I need to restore my phone and I backed it up onto my MacBook Pro, but I need to know if it backed up my pictures as well, since I have all my pictures from my Europe trips on my phone. Help please!

Since I installed the latest version, my sessions no longer get saved when I shut Firefox down

Prior to shutting down a session, I used to be given an option to save my settings, and my settings would be restored for the next session. This no longer happens.

The session is saved you just are not asked about it.
If you start from the default home page you will see a big button in the middle of the screen asking you if you wish to restore the previous session, otherwise use '''*Firefox button -> History -> Restore previous session'''
