What happened to applications icon?

The applications icon in the itunes library disappeared. Any ideas on where it went and how to get it back? Thanks!

Check to see if It's enabled:
Edit > Preferences > General > Show: Applications

Make sure your Junk Mail settings are properly set up, right now neither of those messages are marked as Junk Mail. When Mail identifies an item as Junk Mail or you manually do, it will add the text "Mail thinks this message is Junk Mail" or "You marked this message as Junk Mail" to the message. Right now this just looks like regular SPAM that you might get that hasn't been properly identified as Junk Mail or when Junk Mail Filtering is no enabled. Remember Mail needs to learn what is and is not Junk Mail over time, so if you have recently reset your mail settings through a reinstall or the like, it may still be learning.
1. Do you have a Junk folder (system created) as one of your mailboxes? If there is none, it means that Junk Mail filtering is not enabled or has been enabled but the system has yet to identify any mail as Junk.
2. If you do have a Junk folder, try dragging a piece of mail into the folder to see if the banner I am referring to appears. It should. You should be able to unmark the mail and drag it it back in your inbox.
3. If you manually mark the mail as Junk, does it move into the Junk folder and have the banner I am referring to? It should.
4. If any of the above is not happening, first check your mail settings using the guides below:
Mail (Yosemite): Reduce junk mail in your inbox
Mail (Yosemite): If junk mail filters aren’t working correctly
If all seems correct and it's still not working right, try rebuilding your mailbox:
Mail (Yosemite): Rebuild mailboxes
If none of these help you, please post back and we'll try something else. Oh, and clear out your Previous Recipients window of any unwanted email addresses. Anything listed in there is usually ignored by the Junk Mail filters.

The home button has by default moved to the right hand edge of the navigation toolbar. You can move it back by right-clicking on a toolbar, choose customize to open the customize toolbar window, then with that window on display you can drag and drop icons to move them.
If the home icon is not at the right end of the navigation toolbar, use the procedures in the following link to restore it - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Back+and+forward+or+other+toolbar+items+are+missing

On my iphone I no longer have an icon for messaging on one of my contacts. I can still text that person and have his phone number but what happened to the icon?

One of my contacts no longer has an icon for texting. It show the phone icon and his number is still present. I can still send and receive texts from this person but what happened to the "balloon" icon?

Can you delete the contact, reset your phone and then re add the contact again?

What Home Icon are you talking about? You can still add a shortcut to the Home Screen by tapping on the arrow icon next to the URL field and select - Add to Home Screen.

Just got an update today (14.0.1) and noticed I've lost my Favorites Icon. Checked in the about:config and that item is set to true. Now what?

The developers have been eliminating a lot of duplicate elements and other things that they consider unnecessary like menu items that only appear when using the keyboard from the user interface during the last few releases and there will be more changes. So you will have to get used to it and either check the docs on the SUMO Knowledge Base or search the internet for information about such changes to find out how it works now.

Yosemite code has eliminated the email icon for outgoing message addresses. Doesn't make sense. What am i missing?

If you open a compose message, then in the addressee line, there is a blue plus + in a circle. Click that and you will get the Contacts (AddressBook).

I believe you're mistaken. There's never been an icon to download music or video from a web page in Safari. Maybe you installed something that put an icon there before you updated to Safari 4.0.3?

What happened to the "+" icon next to URL window?

The "+" icon next to the URL window used to bring up a pop-up menu to let you save the URL as a bookmark. Now clicking the same icon adds the URL to your Reading List instead. Is there any way to change this back? I really need the old functionality back...I used that icon 20-30 times a day to save bookmarks. Thanks for any info!

Thanks! That's what I was trying to remember. I don't like some of these changes to Safari, but I guess I'll get used to them. I REALLY wish there was a Preference available in Safari to designate Bookmark vs Reading List as the default.

What happened to Visuizer icon?

All previous versions of iTunes had the Visualizer icon in the bottom right corner of the active screen. It appears in iTunes 7.0, the icon has been taken away and the only way to access it is "open apple -T" or View > Turn On Visulizer.
Does anyone know if the Visulizer icon is truly gone or if there is an option to toggle its display?

Swipe from screen to screen to look for it. Maybe you put it in a folder accidentally.
Maybe you have it restricted by content .... If you can do that with the Facebook app. Settings>General>Restrictions>Allowed Content>Apps

What happened to the icon "Stop loading this page", when I downloaded the newest version of Foxfire?

In the previous edition of Foxfire, an arrow pointing clockwise was located near the 'back' - 'forward' button. This Stop Loading Page icon has disappeared. I liked that feature--it was helpful. How can I retrieve this feature?

Maybe you've found out by now but I believe it's because the apps are 'refreshing'. I think this is new to iOS 7 because I don't remember it happening before...
If you go into your settings-->general--> and about halfway down the list is BACKGROUND APP REFRESH.
I wish I could include a picture to make it easier but if you go into this setting you will see a list of all the apps that will refresh and also the master switch that turns them all off.. I'm not sure what it's doing when it's refreshing tho, maybe checking for updates or location?

What happened to the drop down list that said recent bookmarks?

On Firefox to the right side of the page, there is a little star, and when you move your mouse on it, it
will say, bookmark this page. Next to the star is a little icon, that says show your bookmarks.
So, when I use to click on that icon, it would say most recent bookmarks, along with bookmarks toolbar, and unsorted
bookmarks. I would like to know what happened to the icon that said, most recent bookmarks, or recently added bookmarks.
I would appreciate any help in this matter.

After connecting my iPhone to my Macbook Pro to download photos to my phone, my pages application is now gone from my computer. The icon is still in the dock. What happened and how do I get it back?

After connecting my iphone to my Macbook Pro to download photos to my phone yesterday, my Pages application is gone from my computer. The icon is still in the dock. What happened and how do I get it back? Its not in my trash or anywhere else.

The other 2 applications open like normal. All three give me info.

They all list Apr 3 as the last time opened. That was when I upgraded to Mavericks. I certainly used pages and numbers since then as I have alot of my work files on this computer?
Just very odd. I did find my original iWorks disc from when I bought the computer. I'm assuming i can reinstall it. Will try that. Thank you for all your help. Would still like to know what did happen?
