WHAT HAPPENED TO DOWNLOAD PAGE?

my download page lacks all ability to manage files.
After update to 7.01 its missing!
the entire page is blank except for a blue header saying downloads.
HELP!!!!!

Just upgraded to 5 from 3 - what happened to the page select icon? Can't find it in customize toolbars.

Used to be you could select which page you wished to go back or forward to from the arrow icons on the navigation toolbar. The history menu item only shows 10 sites without having to open history for today. What happened? Is there another icon or a new plug in for this functionality? I used it all the time.

The back/forward buttons have been moved to right-hand side of the navigation bar and the drop-down was removed. User right-click or hold click for one second to see the tab history. This is item #5 in my list.
The History menu also has "Open Previous session" and "Open closed windows",
to see more history use the History sidebar ("Ctrl+H") or the History Library List ("Ctrl+Shift+H") and sort or view by "Last visited".

What happened to the Page setup menu item in the Grab Utility?

What happened to the Page Setup menu item in the Grab Utility? It was there in Snow Leopard and gone in Mountain Lion?

What happens after downloading iPod Updater-after clicking restore?

I have a problem with my ipod that's a bit complicated and can anyone just help? See what happened was, my ipod was in a scan mode, so my cousin tells me. After the battery died, I recharged it, hoping it would stop but it didn't. The next day, all the songs in my ipod are gone and now, I downloaded the ipod updater and plugged in my ipod and clicked restore, and now I don't know if it's ok now. It still says Do Not Disconnect. Should I or shouldn't I? what the **** is up?

It could probably be in the Hard Drive mode. If its not, I would recommend resetting.
Turn on hold, then turn off. Then hold Menu, and the center button at the same time for about 6 seconds, should make the apple logo show and it should fix it.

Biggly2000 what happens if you initiate the download again? You are directed to choose the download location at the time of download. If you have chosen a different location such as an Application folder or Program Files then the installation files will not be in your downloads folder.
I would recommend reviewing Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant for several common errors which occur when using the Adobe Download Assistant.

IMac stolen - what happens to downloaded music/videos?

Help! House was burgled and imac was stolen. It had years of itunes downloads + cd collection. Is there anyway to avoid having to download (and pay!) for these again? Appreciate any help or advice.

Sorry to hear about the loss. And sorry again, but officially Apple does not allow redownloads of purchased tracks. It's your responsibility to make backup copies in case something goes wrong with your system or it gets stolen, as unfortunately it apparently did in your case, and you lose all the information on your hard drive. If you haven't made a backup and don't have your tracks on an iPod, you're probably out of luck and will need to repurchase your tracks. Your homeowner's insurance may cover the cost of replacement if necessary.
You can try contacting iTunes Music Store Customer Service and explaining what happened. Reportedly in some cases Apple has allowed redownloading on a one-time basis, but don't count on it.

While I was repairing my mac...what happened to Downloads?

Hi all, so where to begin? Long story short, during some renovation work to my home, I had to switch my mac off and pack it away. 6 weeks later, unpacked it, set it up, switched it on and...well not sure what happened. It booted, then rebooted and looked like it did when I first bought it, then it rebooted again and I was confronted with a grey screen with a folder and question mark flinging itself about! Tried all the usual, nothing would get it to boot, so I blitzed an external hard drive, installed Snow Leopard on it and managed to get going. Ran disk utility on the internal drive and it said the disk had errors, couldn't be repaired, please back up and format. Now, I had moved a lot of stuff previously onto my laptop, just for storage, so, after a few stif drinks, I took the plunge and erased the hard drive, re-installed Snow Leopard and to my surprise, here we are. So, hint number one, always make sure you have a back up somewhere, because I didn't have everything, and am now on the hunt for all my stuff.
Now, it appears that the downloads section of Support, which I used a lot, is now the Apps Store. I had downloaded loads of lovely email stationary via Downloads, along with silly effects for Photo Booth, effects for iChat...and now they are all gone and I haven't a clue where to find them!
Anyone got any clues? Had also downloaded some fantastic screensavers with clocks in wonderful backgrounds...all gone
Oh and hint nomber two, always make sure you have a back up somewhere
So basically I'm wanting to know where to find all the email stationary, screensavers etc.
Also wanting to make the point about backing up everything.
And also, if your Mac throws a hissy fit, I really recommend having an external drive, if you can install your OS onto it and get your mac going, it is a big big help!

Haven't done the hardware test as yet, have just managed to get the mac up nd running again.

What happens to aspx pages in DM CS3 after upgrade to CS5?

I am planning to upgrade from Dreamweaver CS3 to CS5. What will happen to my wesite created in C# aspx? Will the aspx DM extensions still work?

you can click on page 16 and get the definition, but when you make it run it gives a not found message. Page 16 is called from page 15 buttons "edit" and "nova tasca".
One more help. Could someone tell me how to avoid these weird characters (for example NÃºmero on page 15)

It all happens when in a list of values you state Origin: Function or Expression PL/SQL and you don't write the expression.

What happened to Zoom: Page Width?

Having the Zoom levele be fixed on page width was my favourite thing (i'm weird get over it), and it doesnt do that any more. Now when I adjust the window size I need to change the zoom each time.
Page width used to mean a constant value that would update every time the window was resized, now it is a single computation of the with of the window that zooms the page to match, then gives you the corresponding zoom level.
Going from 1 click to as many times as you change the window is not an improvement.
Fix it pretty please, or tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Meanwhile you could go back to Pages '09 which is still in your Applications/iWork folder.

A reboot should be enough to make it work.
Just restart your computer.
Otherwise, make sure you're an administrator - as if you're not, it could be that the administrator put a restiction.

Email Attachments (what happens to downloaded attachements)

I just downloaded a 7 MB Zip file to my ipad mini and then viewed the contents with the ZIP app.
My question is...
Where was the file downloaded and do I need to delete it or will it go away on its own?

It remains in Mail until you delete the mail message. I'm not familer with the specifics of ZIP, but assume if you open the file with it, it is stored there as well.

What happened to my Pages, etc?

I used to have Pages, Keynote, and Numbers. My system crashed and I've been rebuilding the software positions I had but recently noted these are missing. Were they originally installed in my OSX? I've since upgraded to Snow Leopard. Where would I find these programs to reinstall them? Thanks, Craig

A 'normal' macintosh doesn't embed iWork.
Some buyers fill an order for a customized machine with iWork installed.
In this case,
is it only the applications installed on the HD
is it the applications installed on the HD and a dvd with the installer ?
I don't know the true answer because I never bought a mac with pre-installed iWork.

After connecting my iphone to my Macbook Pro to download photos to my phone yesterday, my Pages application is gone from my computer. The icon is still in the dock. What happened and how do I get it back? Its not in my trash or anywhere else.

The other 2 applications open like normal. All three give me info.

They all list Apr 3 as the last time opened. That was when I upgraded to Mavericks. I certainly used pages and numbers since then as I have alot of my work files on this computer?
Just very odd. I did find my original iWorks disc from when I bought the computer. I'm assuming i can reinstall it. Will try that. Thank you for all your help. Would still like to know what did happen?
