What happened to my downloaded songs on iphone?

When I download songs from the music app on the iphone sometimes they dissapear and I need to re-download them from the cloud. Why does this happen? Is there a limit to how many can be downloaded on the phone? Does the downloaded songs expire? Some glitch?

I get it a lot, I think it might be if your phone thinks it is going to need the space if you are downloading an app. ALL of my library was deleted off my iPhone when I downloaded a new medical app update.
I think you just have to get used to it. I spoke to Apple about it and they had no idea why it happens.

I have tried holding down the home and power button countless of times. It doesnt respond at all. Plug my phone to a charger and hold down the power button and my phone switched on. But it said Activation Required and said connect to Itunes. As e screen remains on the connect to Itunes screen, I disconnect the charger from my phone and my phone went dead instantly. My battery is full btw. Tried connecting to Itunes through my Macbook Pro but iTunes doesnt detect my device and the apple logo flashes for about a few seconds on my phone and then disappear and then came back on again. My Iphone has been connected to my laptop for about 30 mins and the apple logo has been coming on and off for 30 minutes now and Itunes has not detect my device yet.

Cant seem to find the downloads tab that used to be in the upper right hand corner near the link bar in os x yosemite?

One possibility is that there are no files in the Downloads, or that the Safari list has been cleared. What happens if you download something - does the tab appear?
Also, in the View menu there is a command "Show Downloads" you might try.

I have an IPhone 4 and tried to download some songs from ITunes on my phone. I received a message that I can't download songs unless I upgrade the iOS. Went to upgrade and received message I had to upgrade to ITunes 10.5. Did this, however now I can't connect to the store. I receive a message stating that the network cannot connect and to check my settings. I have followed everything on here, uninstalled, reinstalled, Microsoft Fixit, run as administrator, firewalls, proxy server, even removed my antivirus, nothing works. Very frustrated and not sure what else to try???

What happened to all the songs in my Wish List?

I have not yet upgraded to Yosemite from Mavericks, but I did download the latest iTunes upgrade prior to Yosemite. Now all but a few of the approximately 400 songs I had in my Wish List have been wiped out. Can anybody tell me what happened? Is there any way I can restore the Wish List?

Yep - Apple has screwed the wish lists up - when I sent a help message I got a stock reply "I realize how concerned you must be, and I certainly understand the urgency in resolving this immediately. Apple is aware of the issue and currently working toward a resolution for the issue you have reported. You will receive an email after the matter has been investigated and further information is available. Thank you for your patience. Apple wants your iTunes experience to be as enjoyable as possible.
No, Apple does not really want my experience to be enjoyable or it would have added useful, basic functions to iTunes over the years instead of stripping them away or ignoring the needs of people who have large music collections - turning the wish list into a sliding sideways scrolly thing is terrible design. If they keep dumbing it down as they are, soon the iTunes interface will just be a big red button that says "Listen to new Taylor Swift album" and sadly Apple is doing this with their OS as well - simplify, design it for use on a phone, and to **** with the desktop users who have more complicated needs.

I see 5 to 7 steps.
So what has happened after step 1, then after step 2, and so forth?
I would appreciate if only those who knows exactly what happens will list it in their reply.

What Happened to the "Plus" Songs in the iTunes Store?

I can't find any plus songs for purchase in the iTunes store. I used to be able to search for "+" songs, or browse for plus songs, but there are no links. Even searching for any song, browsing the songs, etc., show NO plus songs in the store.
The only reference to "Plus", is to update some previous purchases to plus. I even tried searching for those songs and there are no results with a "+" next to them.

A while back (sorry, can't remember exactly when... 2 years?), Apple stopped selling the non-plus versions of songs (128 kbps, DRM protected). They now only sell the "plus" version so there's no longer a need to make the distinction.

Downloading songs from iPhone 4 to second PC

So a virus killed my computer and everything's gone. Only some of it was backed up - my huge bad.
I've downloaded a number of songs from iTunes directly to my iPhone 4 and then downloaded those songs onto the computer that is now dead. My iTunes was set to 'manually add' if that makes a difference.
Most of those songs are still on my iPhone. I was wondering if it would be possible to download those songs to a second PC.
