What happened to my gifted app!

My friend gifted me an app from her account (Squats Pro from Runtastic). I received the email and clicked redeem. I redeemed the code then I put the phone in my pocket. Now the app is no where to be seen! Not in my app list, not on my phone or not even my account. When I go to the app in the App Store it tells me to buy it.
I Tried to redeem the code again but then it said the code has already been redeemed.
She got charged on her credit card for the app already.

You may have redeemed the code but not follow through with the download.
Tap Settings > App Store > Updates. That wil take you to the Purchased list.
See if the app is available for download there.

You get two copies of the album. You can't use the gift code to get a different album. You get what the purchaser chose for you.

What happened to the "tuner" app? I bought it a few days ago, and now it's not available when my friend searches for it. I checked itunes, the iphone apps, and even searched by music catatory rather than by name.

When you click on the TUNER link, it launches the itunes store and says this app is not available in the U.S. huh? not fun! I have half a dozen friends that are excited to try it out. I'm glad I got it while I could too. I wonder what triggered the removal?

What happened to my gift card credit?

I know how to review my purchase history in my iTunes account. But, how do I find out what happened to a gift card credit? Per my my account's purchase history, I only used $10 of a $50 gift card (assuming the culprit is NOT user error, e.g., I redeemed on the incorrect account). Can I search "payment history" in addition to purchase history? Thanks.

I am currently in 'discussion' with iTunes about this very issue. It's happened to me at least twice before when I redeemed a Gift card and didn't use the full amount. A couple of weeks later... the 'credit' was gone!
I also question as to why iTunes do NOT show gift card redemptions... VERY sus imho!!! Why dont they??!!
I have asked iTunes to provide me with a list of all my transactions for this year so I can see when, where and how my credits were used. So far the best I got was "check your account balance". They have said they will look into it from another side (ie. not via their customer support) but I will give them a week before I go to Fair Trading and make a formal complaint.
I have provided them screen shots, dates, my purchase history etc. and the numbers just dont add up. Either my credit balance expired (in the space of a couple of weeks) or someone is skimming accounts - which is on the iTunes system. Either way iTunes have a case to answer!

While purchasing Apps from Store a message shows up " Not available in Emirati Store. Change to US Store for Purchase".Can I make purchase by changing country without impacting the earlier purchased Apps?

The second part is " How do I purchase Apps from Store when I change my resident country and then what happens to already purchased Apps? Do I need to create a new Apple ID for a different country to purchase Apps and hope my earlier purchase is not impacted by this process."

Apps are automatically downloaded and stored to your Applications folder. Check there...

I updated my ipod touch 4g to iOS 6.0 and what happened to the youtube app? And why does my ipod keep on crashing when ever I go to the app store? Now i can never buy anything!!! or watch youtube videos and I'm always on youtube!!!!!!!!

As has been very well publicized in the news and all over the internet and forums, youtube is not part of ios 6. Google it.
You can get the app from the app store if you like.

Yesterday there were over 2880 Apps on the App store. Today there are only 1890. There were almost 1000 free Apps and tonight there are only 500.
What happened to all the Apps? Does everyone see this in Itunes?

Curiously, you never specifically mentioned this either. I also didn't "complain about those who ask questions" in either of my posts in this thread. In fact, I don't particularly care for these App Store changes either. I simple provided an explanation that was posted elsewhere. Apparently, the only explanation you're willing to accept is that Apple did it out of complete incompetence and/or greed.
If your definition of "Apple Worshiper" is someone who doesn't have a blatant personality disorder compelling him to flame and attack anyone who doesn't support cluelessly hostile attitudes, you are 100% correct. If you think I'm a mindless Apple drone, you're 100% wrong.
So, what did I "complain" about that might have set you off? Maybe it was that sarcastic quip about limiting forum membership to actual iPhone owners. Must've hit a raw nerve there...

What happened to home share apps?

What happened? I used to share my Grocery IQ with my DH's computer. Now when I open home share on DH's computer my music is still there but my apps are not. I'm not about to buy another app just for his iPhone when I have a good one for my iTouch. Can anybody help?

Whats happened to file sharing apps? how do i add save files in office HD, keynote, VLC etc.....seems to have disapered in itune 11...apple why do you do this?

whats happened to the file sharing apps after the itunes 11 update.
Im trying to move files in office HD, keynote and VLC.....this was easily done in previous version.
apply why do you do this? you always disapoint on updates and leave users high and dry.

Believe it or not File Sharing is there but in a slightly different location. But I was definitely confused and had trouble finding it when I looked because of the way iTunes has windows within windows.
Start iTunes 11 and connect your iPad.
Select your iPad. I choose to "View Sidebar" so my iTunes looks more familiar. So I select my iPad in the Sidebar.
I the main window I select Apps. And scroll down.
There are multiple sub windows within the main window. The first sub wind is Apps. If you scroll in the Apps window that's all you will see, your apps.
Move your cursor outside of the App window and the main window will scroll. Below the Apps sub window is another subwidow called File Sharing. That's where you'll find the familiar file sharing area.

I was just wondering what happens to the apps I have purchased for my iPhone if I were to cancel my mobileme subscription? (I log into the iTunes/App store with my mobileme email account)
Do I loose all my apps? Can I convert them to another account/email address?

What happens if i purchase apps when home page limit is exceeded already

New to iPhone. I know iPhone 5 has the limit of 11 pages of home screen, and I wonder what happens if I accidentally continue to buy apps when it's already over the limit. Will it warn me or it will start removing apps to make room for new ones?

The apps will still download to your phone, they just won't be on your home screen. You can still access the apps by searching for their names. To do a search, from your home screen, swipe from left to right until you see the search screen.
Why don't you group apps into folders to make room for more?
