What happened to the MMS topic from earlier today?

Isn't this a public forum for people to discuss stuff? The topic from earlier today is gone. Why did it get deleted? I think it's important for everyone to understand the importance of such basic cell phone functions...it might actually sway someone's purchase as they would just assume a phone of such perceived caliber would have such basic cell phone functions when in fact it lacks a lot of basic cell phone functions. I'm just assuming this will get deleted as well, because god forgive we actually discuss stuff that matters to consumers.

I had a post deleted yesterday. It wasnt offensive or anything. It went like this...
The discussion was about MMS, and a poster said.... "Why would you want to send MMS at a cost of $0.50 when you can just email?".
To which i replied... "So i guess you never send texts then? why would you want to send texts at 0.15p, when you can just email? the answer is convenience".
When i looked later the same day, my post had been deleted!!

ICloud family email account? Don't understand what happens to the other email addresses.

After updating my devices to ios5 I was going to move to iCloud. Got message that not all email accounts would forward (I have family plan with multiple email accounts), and I don't really understand what I need to do to get everything moved to iCloud.

You can move the master and sub accounts on a Mobileme Family Plan individually to iCloud: each account needs to move separately, going to http://me.com/move and will become an individual and separate iCloud account. This can be done in any order, but obviously if you move the master account first you can no longer use it to administer the sub-accounts; and if you move a sub-account first you can't create a new sub-account to replace it.
The master account will get the free extension to 20GB until 30 June 2012; the sub-accounts won't.

There are 32 photo attachments on an email received. But only 20 are loisted in the attachment area and only able to open/save those twenty. What happened to the other 20 and why do they not show up?

What happened to the "other" smartphone plan

I can only see share everything and prepaid right now for the cell phone plans. My understanding is that there should be a 2GB/$30/month plan as well (for existing and new accounts). How do you get select that plan?

Only for existing customers. New.customers can only choose prepaid or Share Everything.

I've installed three internal hard drives, but only the third appears on the desktop. What happened to the other two hard drives?

1. May 9, 2013, I bought a G4 QuickSilver Mac with only one hard drive on ebay. Main Disk was named   "WD1200 Boot Drive." Worked great.
2. May 13, 2013, I installed a second hard drive to the one mentioned above, and named it "2nd Maxtor Boot Drive." Worked great.
3. May 21, 2013, I installed a third hard drive, and name it "3rd Hitachi Boot Drive." Worked great.
4. May 21, 2013, after I installed "3rd Hitachi Boot Drive," and used it as the "Startup Disk," I copied all of my external hard disk data (named "Mac Companion") to "3rd Hitachi Boot Drive."
   a.) I then began moving to trash/deleting the data from "Mac Companion."
   b.) Because data being trashed/deleted from "Mac Companion" was taking so long, I quit the procedure by just pulling the plug on the Mac while it was still under the control of "3rd Hitachi Boot Drive."
   c.) I didn't "Shut Down" by the book.
The next morning, today, when I booted up, the only hard drives showing were:
1.) 3rd Hitachi Boot Drive, and
2.) Mac Companion
The other two hard drives did not show up on the desktop; nor did they show up in the Utility folder.
All the drives were installed correctly.   All drives were functioning correctly. There were no problems until I "shut down incorrectly."
What should I do next?

HT5035 What happens to previous balance when redeeming a gift card?

Last week I had a little over $5 on my account. I purchased a $15 gift card to buy more music. When I redeemed the gift card, my account showed the $15 but not the additional $5. What happened to the other money? I had this happen once before but only had around $1 left so didn't worry about it, but if this happens every time I buy a gift card, I wont be buying any more.
I have checked other similar threads and the only response I have seen is to look at history. The history does show what was purchased but I don't see anything showing balances as those purchased or gift card redemptions are made. Any help would be appreciated.

TS4124 I had 900 songs and Itunes match loaded only 92 songs to my iphone devices. What happened to the rest?

I had 900 songs before I added itunes match and when it loaded my music it only loaded 92 songs to my iphones and ipad. What happened to the other 800 and can I recover them?

Music that does not adhere to the basic parameters for itunes match are not added to the cloud. Such things as too low a bitrate can disqualify a song. Also, only music that is in itunes will qualify. If you have home-made music, that won't be added to itunes match.

In analytics, what happened to all the downloads started?

In one of my folios i have 99 downloads started - pretty good i thought.
But out of those only 20 were completed, 6 had download errors and 17 were cancelled... that's only 43.
What happened to the other 46?
Any help would be appreciated - i'm sure others must be wondering the same thing.

Indeed, there was a similar post few days ago.
There could be 3 causes why the sum of Issue Download (Completed+Errors+Cancelled) is different than Issue Download Started:
User starts to download folio A ('Issue Download Started' event is sent for folio A). Before the current download ends, user starts to download folio B. In this case, another 'Issue Download Started' event is sent for folio B, but folio A will remain in 'Download Paused' state without reaching a final Download state (Completed/Errors/Cancelled). Only if the user will tap again on the folio A, the download will be resumed (following this scenario, user can start simultaneously several download, only the last download will reach a final download state). This is most probably the cause why you are seeing different numbers
User will start the download in the current day, but the final download state will be send in the next day. In this case, if the selected interval ends today, then the raport will not contain the final Download state
If the user has opt-in dialog enabled, it can select 'Don't Allow' tracking after the dowload starts and before the download will reach a final state. In this case, the events will not be sent

TM after DiskWarrior rebuild - what happens?

DiskWarrior can be used to rebuild/repair the directory.
After this operation, what does TM do? Deep traversal or start all over again? Or continue as usual?

I wonder if it was because it was the first time.
DW did find a few minor errors which it corrected. That may have set the flag that TM sees to require a deep traversal. Then it could be a coincidence - I know TM does a deep traversal every now and then on its own. But I suspect it was because of DW fixing some entries.
I'll see what happens on my other MBP later tonight. I am backing it up right now.
Whatever, there was no damage done and everything is running fine, as usual.

For example, before in Preview, you could select text to be read in text-to-speech. Now, this feature seemed to have just vanished! What happened?

The other day I was checking out radio stations in iTunes, after I tuned to one of them odd thigs happened, i just moved on. Now my iTunes radio sounds like i am listeneing through a box or can on all stations.

It sounds like you blew out the paper cone that delivers the sound from the speaker. Depending on how much pressure you used to blow out would determine if the speakers are gone. From the sounds of it and your comment about it happened right after you blew air into the speakers tell me that is what happened. The speakers in an laptop are small and somewhat fragile. The edges of the paper vibrate when it receives the sound and after some passage of time they get weak and if you blew air directily on them, poof they're gone.
