What happens if the reset link is intercepted?

I have been receiving a lot of emails from apple that a request to reset my password has been submitted. What happens if that email is intercepted and the reset link becomes available to a third party. Do they reset the password and take over the account?

They can still be linked to. But the path has changed in the url and remember/typing that path is a *****.
Yeah, it truly *****. There were plenty of external sites pointing at those photos. Now those links are all broken. Putting them back just isn't worth the time so I guess its screwed.

In prev versions of FF the links outline shows while click & hold. In FF 4 that outline gone...

Deauthorization: what happens?

I have 4 authorizations, 3 of which are on defunct laptops which I didn't know I needed to deauthorize.
My question is this; What happens to my iTunes account and my active authorization on my current laptop? I can't afford to have my iPhone unable to sync with Outlook or any other complications.
What are the steps involved in reauthorizing my current laptop once I've done the once-a-year purge of all the deauthorizations? What problems shall I expect and have other people experienced?

No, you don't. From the perspective of iTunes on the laptop, it was never deauthorized; the change made by Deauthorize All is only on the iTunes server.
What happens to my iPhone link to my iTunes account?
Nothing.
I ought to be able to open My Account, see the list of authorized computers and uncheck the ones I want deauthorized (and then they go away).
An authorized device other than the Apple TV doesn't need to be connected to the Internet to retain its authorization, and if the device isn't connected to the Internet, asleep, or shut down, it can't receive a deauthorization signal from the iTunes Store. Furthermore, some firewalls may block the message, making that functionality impossible to implement.

actually if wip job is cancelled then sales order lines is on hold ?
i wanted to know what if sales order of that wip job item line is cancelled say example if that wip job already is in processing .

If WIP job cancelled or Requisition/PO is cancelled, corresponding order line reservation will be cleared and will go to 'Supply Eligible' Status. Progressing this line will again follow the WIP/Requisition path based on item.

I had about 17 tabs open on my browser. I clicked a link to open another one and when the tab opened the other tabs disappeared. What happened here?

I had 17 tabs open. When I clicked a link to open a new tab all the other tabs disappeared. I thought a new window had been opened instead, but this is not the case there is only one window open on my mozilla browser. If I try to close the window I get a message that says there are 26 tabs opened, I opened 9 more tabs. Can anybody tell me what is going on here or how I might figure this out?
Also, when I close a tab and try to reopen the tab using the right click menu, the 'undo closed tab' menu is disabled. What happened here? Can anybody tell me how to re-enable it?

I've seen some occasional glitches with windows losing the toolbar area, but not one that disturbing.
If you click and drag down on the 18th tab enough to tear it off into a new window (and possibly the same for the other newer tabs you opened), can you get the 17 tabs to re-appear in the first window? If not, I'm not sure there is a way to mend the window. If it's NOT a private browsing session, you might have to use Firefox > Exit (or File > Exit) and restore your session to get a working window. That won't work with a private window...
As a backstop, you might also right-click a tab in the window > Bookmark All Tabs before ending your session. (Because session cookies and other transient data are not preserved when you reload bookmarks, this isn't as effective as restoring a session. On the other hand, bookmark storage is less fragile than session data storage.)
Regarding Undo Close Tab, are the closed tabs listed on the History menu under Recently Closed Tabs? If so, that context menu item definitely should be enabled.

What happened to being able to view links in PDFs on the iPad?

We create our board packets in Adobe Acrobat on a computer then send them to our board members who receive them on their iPads. When we create them on the computer, we make specific words links so that during the board meeting, our board members can tap on the word and it jumps them to the pay within their packets that discuss that topic. We also make links at the bottom of the pages of each section to take them back to the agenda page (they say "back to top"). Over the last couple months, we've noticed these links don't show up when we open the board packets in the Adobe Reader app on the iPads, but they did used to show up. They show up in the file if I open it on my computer. They also don't show up on a file I have uploaded to Google Drive for our board members to access. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to get this working again?

Results may vary depending on how hyperlinks are defined in your PDF documents.
Here's an example of the PDF document containing the hyperlinks that work in Adobe Reader for iOS.

You can transfer the file to your iPad/iPhone, open it in Adobe Reader for iOS, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and tap one of the links: "Convert PDF to Word", "Convert PDF to Excel", etc.
Adobe Reader for iOS will display the confirmation dialog and open it in Safari (web browser) as expected.
What happens when you tap the hyperlinks in your PDF documents (that are generated by the latest version of Acrobat)? Does it do anything? Do you see an error message?
It is possible that (a) the hyperlinks for web pages in your PDF documents are not defined correctly or (b) Adobe Reader for iOS has a defect that prevents the hyperlinks from working correctly.
We need to take a look at individual PDF documents to properly diagnose the cause of the problem.
Would you share one of your PDF documents with us (Adobe)? I can send the instructions on how to privately share your PDF document(s) with us in a separate email. If you don't mind sharing a PDF document in this public forum, you can provide the public link to your PDF document using "Share Public Link" in Adobe Reader for iOS.

option click your tool bar in Safari, and add the icon that looks like a mail icon (letter icon) to your tool bar...
it is also in the file menu and there is a quick key assignment...

What happened to the new release link?

You used to be able to click on New Releases and get a line listing of everything that was added to iTunes for that week and the previous 3 weeks. What happened to that? The whole poing of going on iTunes was to click on bands I hadn't heard of and find out what they sounded like. Now you can't do that anymore. I don't care about the 20 CDs in the New Release link that are in the Best Buy and Circuit City Sunday Supplement.

It's not down, seems the link is missing. If you go to http://trailers.apple.com and then click on the link to Trailer in iTunes it will take you to the trailers page inside iTunes. It's being updated as there are new trailers showing there posted today (June 30).

I associate Magnet links to my Vuze program and click "remember my choice" but it does not keep it assoctated anymore. What happened

Every time I click on a magnet link is asks for a program association i set Vuze and click remember. It used to keep the setting but it does not anymore and I have to go through it every time I click on a link. What happened? I think it was it the last update when this started happening but I am not sure. Is there anyway I can manually input the choice so it stays there?

What happened to the "send reset security info email to .....@...." link at the bottom of the security questions? I forgot mine and cannot figure out how to send this email...

It's only there if you previously set up a rescue email, which isn't the same as an alternate email. You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.
