So I seen this group is up again on forums.adobe.com, but
without te
messages posted before the migration.
Will these messages return?
I can try to hack up a script to re-post them from a
newsserver with a high
retention period, but if messages WILL return that'll leave
us with a lot of
double posts.

What happens if I post a fillable form on a website that is used by more than 500 people (any version of Adobe Acrobat) how can I accomplish this legally.

LiveCycle Designer does not figure into this at all. The other enabling software that can allow for unrestricted use is called LiveCycle Reader Extensions. There is a version of this software available through Datalogics (www.datalogics.com) as well that may be more convenient to use.
People often bring up the scenario of making a small change and creating a new form. I don't think this would be valid and use the following as a guideline: If the form is collecting the same data for the same purpose, it's the same form
I got this years ago from some materials for LiveCycle Reader Extensions and it seems reasonable.
Note that Reader 11 can do a lot without the form needing to be enabled, such as saving a filled in form and using template features, but not digital signatures. So if you can get your users to update to Reader 11, you won't need to bother with these restrictions.

What happen if idoc extension will be changed ?

we are using a BPM (a big one) with a Multimapping zMATMAS03(Source) & RFC(Source) to MATMAS05(Target).
The source(zMATMAS03) IDoc has a extension(German Erweiterung) with new Segment ZZxxx and new Fields ZZyyy.
What happen if the allready importet and mapped zmatmas03 Idoc will be changed in the source system ?
Example. We added 2 new Fields in the old zzxxx segment.
Did i have to map everything new if i import the new idoc ? or did the new field are added to the old idoc and the mapping is working again ?

1. you have to reimport the idoc from IR
2. you should delete the old idoc definition in TCODE - IDX2
3. you have to change your mappings so that they will use the new IDOC

What happens to donation payments if they're not accepted for a while?

Hi all, I just added a donation button to my website/forum, I got a payment but it says that I can't accept it unless I get verified. In order to get verified I have to link to my bank account. Problem is I'm currently living in Georgia the country which is not supported by paypal, I tried linking my bank account in the past but it didn't work. However; I will be moving to Canada within the next two months so hopefully by then I will get a bank account and be able to accept the payment. My question is: What happens to the payment during those two months of me not accepting it? Will it still remain in my Paypal, adking me to accept it? Or will it be automatically declined after some time? Any help is apprecaited, thanks!

What happens to iTunes purchases if they're taken off the store?

With iTunes in the cloud, music and TV show purchases are recorded in the purchases section of the iTunes store, and can be re-downloaded an unlimited number of times. Basically I'm just wondering what happens to this if an item is removed for purchase from the iTunes store?
Obviously I download all my music to my computer so it isn't a problem, but I have an Apple TV which, because of its ability for streaming purchased TV shows, means I don't bother to download any of my purchased TV shows because it just wastes space on my hard drive when I don't need to download it to access it through the cloud.
But what would happen if, say, the BBC decided they no longer wanted a show I owned to be in the iTunes store? Would its removal from the iTunes store remove iCloud support and mean I could never re-download or stream the show again, and thus effectively no longer have any access to my purchase because I didn't keep a copy of it downloaded? Or would it simply be removed from being able to be bought again, but remain on the system for people who already own the show to access?

You would not be able to get them back. They do warn you that this could happen at any time so it is your responsibility to have backups of everthing.

What happened is it got wet. Water and electronics don't go well together. You need to switch it off and bury it in bag of dry rice for a week at least. This may or may not work - but continuing to try to use it in its current state will kill it for sure. You can enquire at an Apple store about out-of-warranty replacement, depending on where you are.

HT5035 What happens to previous balance when redeeming a gift card?

Last week I had a little over $5 on my account. I purchased a $15 gift card to buy more music. When I redeemed the gift card, my account showed the $15 but not the additional $5. What happened to the other money? I had this happen once before but only had around $1 left so didn't worry about it, but if this happens every time I buy a gift card, I wont be buying any more.
I have checked other similar threads and the only response I have seen is to look at history. The history does show what was purchased but I don't see anything showing balances as those purchased or gift card redemptions are made. Any help would be appreciated.

I was looking for some older posts but they are gone!
In general, Adobes website seems like it is taking water and
capsizing, I hope this is not a reflection of their internal
affairs but a website is how their customers interact with their
brand.
Also has anyone noticed things like many of the old breeze

I have had some problems with my computer in regards to the touch and
not with the touch itself. I posted a few questions and had wonderful responses. I went to reference back to them and everything is gone. My most recent post that is in my profile is 10/07. Ok..please help. I've done some searching and found the solution that I thought would work but it is not working. Quick background on what I'm doing. We've had major issues w/our Gateway and I haven't synced my touch since the January update. Well, they finally sent us a "new" computer, after 3 months of frustration, anyway..we got it yesterday and the stupid thing won't even turn on. So, I am now going to put all of my itunes library on my laptop. No telling when my desktop will be usable.
Before I sent the previous computer back to them, I saved all our playlists onto a portable hard drive. I followed someone's advise on here to export and then all I have to do is import back to itunes. I even practiced this on the other computer to make sure I knew how to do it (ok..don't laugh at that)!
Well, I am doing that now and I keep getting a pop up window saying:
*Some songs in the file Kelley's playlist.xml were not imported because they could not be found*
I get this everytime with every playlist and nothing is being transferred.
Anyhelp is greatly appreciated. I'm sure many of you understand that I'm going thru a major Touch withdraw with not being able to do anything with my touch!!

How does one get a DOMAIN plus 2 - 5 email addesses 'hosted at a very low yearly cost?
I looked at technopagan's list of Dynamic DNS providers... did not see my provider (ATT - DSL) on it.
IF I could afford such an ISP, I could RECEIVE all mail there (but continue to SEND mail thru DSL ,,, since they demand that I do !)
Now, I do have a "free" ISP that does the above... (receive mail ONLY... send out via ATT-DSL); but I may lose it soon then I have to CHANGE email addresses etc etc over to ATT DSL... don't want that. I want a more 'permanent' change ... and maybe with my own domain and email address(es) that stay with me.

HT5824 What happened to my bookmarks? They're ALL GONE. From every computer...

Set my bookmarks to be saved on the cloud. They appeared on all of my PC's until one of them underwent updates. Now ALL bookmarks from my Favorites bar are gone from ALL computers. What gives? Even tried to system restore back before the updates - no dice.

What have you tried?

Hi,
last year or so it was possible to start a new post and then have the option to finish later because 'the system' kept a backup copy. These 'draft' messages were shown on the lower right of the Browser panel. This feature seems to have gone... Personally I found it very useful. Did I miss a new option (or my glasses)?
