What happened to the books in the iBook store?
You need to go to the gear wheel at the top left of the panel and select Customize and then check the box for digits or math or whatever you want to add.

I want to get rid of a book in the iBooks "Purchased" collection, but when I touch the Edit button and select the book and then touch the Delete button, then the "Delete this copy" seletion, nothing happens. How do I delete the book from the collection?
The Cloud by the song indicates that is is an iTunes purchase but it is not downloaded on the iPod. If you only want download iTunes purchases to show in the Music app go to Settings>itunes and pp Store and turn off Show aLL.

Not sue what happened but opened iBooks this am and found the one of the two books I have no longer has the story inside. When the book is open the pages are all blank. Even the markers are gone. Could use some help...
Is the book still available in the store ? If it is then you could try deleting the book from the bookshelf in the iBooks app and then re-download it via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the app.

What happens when multiple users access the same servlet?
Do the users share all the same resources? Or is a new process generated for each user? I have a servlet that builds a string to return to the user and I only have myself to test, so I can't really see what happens when many users access the servlet. Is there a possibility that the string will get screwed up, like when dealing with multiple threads, or do all the users get their own resources and I don't have to worry about that?
huh? if you can point a test servlet at it, you can point a browser at it (even if the servlet does not serve html it will run)
try pasting the servlet URL into a web browser
refreshing multiple browsers repeatedly could provide a manual test -
Is there any way to embed the pdf file in the book created in iBooks Author to make it available to be downloaded or sent to email?
I'm making the book for children and there is one chapter providing coloring pages. So I wish to attach pdf files that allow users to download it at the end of chapter so that they can print it out. Been searching through discussion, I've found some advice about taking screen snapshot page-by-page > then send the pics from photo album to email. However, I'm wondering if there's a way that make the process easier.Warehouse that PDF on your own server, then link to it from your book.

When making a photo book, my iPhoto freezes during uploading the book to the storey. I have attempted this 4 times now and I don't know what to do! I know the file size is massive due quantity of large image files, but I don't want to reduce the image file size and compromise quality in the book. How can I get past this?

Try to boot into Safe Mode and order this way, or sign into a different user account and try to order as a different user.

What happened to clicker/headphones in the 3rd generation Nano?
In previous models I've set the clicker setting to headphones. This way I was able to operate the iPod without looking at the screen, even with sound isolating headphones.
In the new Nano the only options are on and off, in both settings I am unable to use the click wheel without looking at the screen.
Am I missing something here?
Thanks.I'd also like to know what happened to this option in the 3rd gen nano. In Settings > Clicker, the options are now "Turn Off Sound While Scrolling" and "Play Sound While Scrolling", where the click is audible only through the iPod's speaker and not the headphones.
In the mini, 1st and 2nd generation nano, Settings > Clicker gave you the options of "Turn Off Sound While Scrilling", "Play Click Through Speaker", and "Play Click Through Headphones".
I just don't see much point in the clicker being played through the external speaker: if you're using the iPod surely you've got headphones in your ears! And not having audible feedback for menus through the headphones just makes it that much harder to use the ClickWheel. I hope that a software update restores this missing feature! -
Why have I lost all the books in my iBooks library?
Why have I lost all the books in my IBooks library since it was updated to iBooks 1.5. My library is now blank & I'm not a happy chappie!
Can anybody help me please! I'm disabled & it's not easy for me to sync my iPad with my PC so I'm hoping that I won't need to do that.You can redownload any purchased books without syncing with your PC. To do this, open iBooks on your iPad, click on the Store button at the upper left of the screen. Once the store loads, you'll see a tab labeled Purchased on the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. Click there and you'll be able to download any books that you purchased from the iBookstore.

What happened to my photos in the photo pane of my calendar project? Where there were pictures there are now dotted squares. All the pictures are still in my events.

IBooks 2 - Why doesn't the book keep the changed font
iBooks 2 - changing the default font and size of the book is not stored for the next session of the book. The book returns to display the last viewed page but resets to the default font and size.
Works as expected for me. Try killing the iBooks app and trying again, or resetting the device. If all else fails backup & then restore.
