What happened to the color of the Back/Forward/Refresh buttons?

Hello,
With FF4 I noticed that you ripped us off on the color of the Back/Forward/Refresh buttons. Right now I am trying very hard not to call you a bunch of baboons. I don't see well and, to me, color is more important than discretion. Can I get the color back? Or better yet, can I import my own button icons? Please fix this.--ckd

What happened to the back/previous history button? (next to the back/forward buttons)

Hi, just upgraded from firefox 3.6 to 4.
The main problem I have with this version which will make me go back to 3.6 if I can't solve it, is that in this version (4) there is no back history to click on next to the navigational back and forward buttons. I'm not talking about the history menu from the menu bar. I'm talking about the pathway I took to get to the page I'm on, which will be different for every tab that I have open. Sometimes if I've just gone through ebay or paypal checkouts or sent/posted questions on forums etc, I will not be able to just repeatedly press 'back' as it may resend twice, or force me to resend data to re-enter that page, even though I didn't want that page, I wanted the page that was 5 steps back prior. You know what I mean? It used to be great to use that on 3.6 to navigate around and jump about back and fore 8 or 9 pages at a time. The history button in the menu bar doesn't help me, it just tells me the last few pages I've been to overall, and not specific to that tab.
Also, how can I customise the navigation bar? I want an icon for the refresh button back like the one in 3.6 (big, prominent, and moveable). Same for the home button, it's now stuck at the far side (I used to customise all these buttons to be as together or as central as I could).

The arrow to open the tab history of the Back and Forward buttons has been removed in Firefox 4.
Use one of these methods to open the tab history list:
* Right click on the Back or Forward button
* Hold down the left mouse button on the enabled Back or Forward button until the list opens

If I merge libraries and then back the merged libraries up onto an external drive or DVD, do I just back up the libraries themselves, or do I also back up the original files?
If you're running a Managed Library, then backing up the Library also backs up the original files.
I ask because my HDD is getting pretty full. I want to reduce the amount of stuff on it, and the iPhoto libraries are the biggest single consumer of space at the moment (Nearly 100GB).
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

P.s. If you're running a Managed library, then it's the default setting, and iPhoto copies files into the iPhoto Library when Importing
If you're running a Referenced Library, then you made a change at iPhoto -> Preferences -> Advanced and iPhoto is NOT copying the files into the iPhoto Library when importing.

My Firefox doesn't open to the set homepages, and My back/forward/refresh buttons are constantly greyed out.

When I open Firefox it shows a blank page. When I press the home button, the tabs I have set as home pages appear as normal. The back, forward, refresh and stop buttons are all permanently grayed out and unresponsive.
I have updated Firefox, uninstalled it, re installed it and still it doesn't work.

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. What happened to the Back up to Disc feature in iTunes 10.4?

I just bought myself a new external DVD disc drive and plugged it in. When I launched iTunes and inserted a disc into my new drive, I noticed that the Back up to Disc option was missing. When I contacted apple tech support, they won't even talk to me without paying for the service even though I only have a question about iTunes. Anyone else experience the same problem? Is there a third party application that will back up my iTunes library to a disc? If so where can I get it?

I wrote Apple a letter to explain my frustration with the iTunes data disc back-up feature being removed... anyone who has tried to do a basic back-up now knows what I'm writing about... it's now a nightmare situation for those of us who are not computer savvy, nor interested in experimenting with consolidating files ( good luck if you don't have enough room left on your computer to consolidate ) I have no iTunes purchased music so am not interested in giving Apple more money to back-up my music. If you open Tools > Add-ons, you can check for updates using the "gear" icon. I'm not sure if that works exactly the same, but it's the only one I know of, besides the plugincheck site.

What happened to the "on this phone" button?

When I first synced my iPhone 5S to my iTunes on my Windows computer, the "on this phone" button was available. I was able to see what music was on my phone and the play count. I always keep my iTunes set up to manually manage my music and this has not changed, though under the music tab for the device, it wants to only delete everything on my phone now and only allow me to manage by artists or genre, not individual songs. This is really frustrating. I have seen how to delete songs on the phone and not see those that are stored in the cloud, but I've been using Apple products for a very long time and have always been able to see the individual songs on a device via iTunes. Is there a way to fix this or am I stuck not being able to use a feature I've used for years and frustrated?

What happened to the "jump to locators" buttons on the transport?

I was just curious - going from logic 6 to 7, I don't see the buttons on the transport that I used to use to jump to a spot in the song I'm working on.

Sorry I am not familiar with V6.
If it is just jumping to the locator positioin the Stop will
get you to the beginning locator position. For different
positions there is the marker track with key commands
to get you to the different markers. When you use the key
commands to navigate to different markers the loop
locator points are set to the beginning and end of the marker.

The back, forward, reload and stop buttons are greyed out, the address bar stays blank when I go to a website and firefox loads to a blank page, not my home page. There are 3 users on this computer and it only happens on one user.

Launch the Quicken application and try to open the file from there, if you haven't already. If that fails, and a simple restart of the computer doesn't help, try reinstalling the application. If that doesn't cure the problem, I would suggest you take this up in the Quicken Community:

Make sure your Junk Mail settings are properly set up, right now neither of those messages are marked as Junk Mail. When Mail identifies an item as Junk Mail or you manually do, it will add the text "Mail thinks this message is Junk Mail" or "You marked this message as Junk Mail" to the message. Right now this just looks like regular SPAM that you might get that hasn't been properly identified as Junk Mail or when Junk Mail Filtering is no enabled. Remember Mail needs to learn what is and is not Junk Mail over time, so if you have recently reset your mail settings through a reinstall or the like, it may still be learning.
1. Do you have a Junk folder (system created) as one of your mailboxes? If there is none, it means that Junk Mail filtering is not enabled or has been enabled but the system has yet to identify any mail as Junk.
2. If you do have a Junk folder, try dragging a piece of mail into the folder to see if the banner I am referring to appears. It should. You should be able to unmark the mail and drag it it back in your inbox.
3. If you manually mark the mail as Junk, does it move into the Junk folder and have the banner I am referring to? It should.
4. If any of the above is not happening, first check your mail settings using the guides below:
Mail (Yosemite): Reduce junk mail in your inbox
Mail (Yosemite): If junk mail filters aren’t working correctly
If all seems correct and it's still not working right, try rebuilding your mailbox:
Mail (Yosemite): Rebuild mailboxes
If none of these help you, please post back and we'll try something else. Oh, and clear out your Previous Recipients window of any unwanted email addresses. Anything listed in there is usually ignored by the Junk Mail filters.

Go through each of the sources Music, Movies etc. and select Playlists. Use the elipsis ... to enable sources. Apps, Tones, and Internet Radio don't have a Playlists button, the others do and remember your selection. Not exactly the same as the old sidebar, but not too different.
