What happened to the free song a week on iTunes?

I Haven't seen iTunes post a "free song of the week" in over a month and I'm just wondering if anyone knows if this is just a temporary thing or if they have gotten rid of it. I hope not . I actually used that feature to explore new music that I otherwise might not have listened to.

What happened to the free Single of the Week download?!

I logged into the iTunes Store, clicked on the "Free on iTunes" section, and was shocked that the free Single of the Week is no longer there! It's bad enough that they got rid of the Discovery Download, Spanish Discovery Download, and Video of the Week, but now the Single of the Week is gone too? What?!

Yes, I noticed the same thing. I've been downloading the free single of the week for many years now and have discovered a lot of good music that I otherwise would never have been exposed to. I hope it's just an oversight . . .

What Happened to the "Plus" Songs in the iTunes Store?

I can't find any plus songs for purchase in the iTunes store. I used to be able to search for "+" songs, or browse for plus songs, but there are no links. Even searching for any song, browsing the songs, etc., show NO plus songs in the store.
The only reference to "Plus", is to update some previous purchases to plus. I even tried searching for those songs and there are no results with a "+" next to them.

A while back (sorry, can't remember exactly when... 2 years?), Apple stopped selling the non-plus versions of songs (128 kbps, DRM protected). They now only sell the "plus" version so there's no longer a need to make the distinction.

What happened to the free alternative and Latino music on iTunes?

I don't see the free alt or Latino music offerings this week. What gives, iTunes?

We're not the iTunes Store here, so we have no more idea that you do. What free content the iTunes Store offers varies from week to week, and apparently this week they didn't decide (or were unable to license) any Latino or Alternative content for free.

What happened to the "Free Downloads" link at iTunes Store?

Since the new iTunes store switched, the "This weeks free downloads" that link that displayed all of the free tv shows available for download has disappeared? I remember it has episodes of Passions, Three Moons..., 30 Days, and others. Is there a link that I'm just missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What happened to the free Winnie the Pooh in iBooks?

I no longer have Winnie the Pooh on my iPad. I didn't delete it, but it's no longer there. A search of the store gives zero results for Winnie the Pooh. What happened? Did Apple just yank it all of a sudden?

Open iTunes. Click iTunes Store in the Store section on the left. From the tabs at the top, click Books. Then in the list of choices on the right, click Purchased (New).
When it comes up it will show tabs for your purchases. In the Books tab, it should show Winnie-the-Pooh if you downloaded it. (It shows up for me.) At the upper right, click Not in My Library and you should be able to download it.

It's gone here in Canada. Apparently this is a deliberate decision by Apple, and not a bug or anything like that. It's hard to find reliable information, though. Anyway, I'm disappointed that it's gone. I looked forward to it and I always gave the new songs a chance to grab my attention. If I liked them, I looked for more from that artist.

What happened to the playback speed change option in iTunes U??

I just updated to the latest iOS and installed other updates. That change removed the playback speed change option for both my iPad and my iPhone in the iTunes U app. It is still available in e podcast player. What happened to this option in iTunes U and will it be restored? Listening to some lecturers at normal delivery speed is agonizing. Any insights on is?

So to get it to work:
you need to have a video with more than 1 option (such as 1 with subtitles)
Afterwards, the speed you set when the button is working is remembered so when you change to videos where the button doesn't work, it will keep the speed you had.
We're testing Apple's software for them!

What happened to the today, yesterday, this week, this month history catagories?

All I get now is a full month of history.

Sorry about that, not sure what may have happened, but it sounds as if the database is corrupt &/or you have lost information due to lack of capacity.
Unfortunately Firefox does not backup the History, so unless you have yourself backedup the databse file or your profile there may not be much that can be done.
The file may be one that Windows saves previous versions of so you could look into that as a method of restoring information.The file is places.sqlite

Before doing that make copies of the current file. The file resides in the Firefox profile. The quickest method of finding the profile is to use

Time Machine with OSX Server; what happened to the free disk space?

I am trying to do something that should be pretty simple. I have an iMac, with Mountain Lion and Server installed. My wife has a Mac Air. The goal was to get her to Time Machine backup through the wifi to my external hardrive. I think it is working, but here is the small catch. Last night, while getting it all going, it was saying "making buckup disk ready" through the night until now. Now it is actually doing the backup normally, i.e. I can see the data transferring. BUT, here is the question, in the mean time the external hardrive lost about 300gb of space which is the size of MY iMac backup. So I hope that when I turned on Time Machine it dosnt back up one time as my computer and another as a server. That may not make any sence at all.
Here is a screen shot of my external hardrive:
636.33 GB, before yesterday it was half that. But my wife's hardrive is 100 GB of Data.
Just a note, I had my hardrive wiped clean the other day before Mountain Lion was installed, and I have a "carbon copy" from before that on another hardrive. Can I delete the backup of MY machine and start over?
