What happened to the "gift" with the 100ME cards?
Does anybody know what happened with the special "gift" that was initially advertised to be packaged with the 100ME cards? I purchased the GTX 970 Gaming 100ME from Newegg a few weeks ago, and there's nothing that fits that description in the box. Now it looks like the MSI product page has removed any mention of the gift as well. It's just a bit weird...

It seems it has been a limited offer and might also not been offered in all local markets. If the shop didn't list a gift being part of the package there simply is none.

What happens to iMovie projects with the demise of MobileMe Gallery?
Will a new "hosting service" be able to pick up, in tact, video productions created on iMovie and published to MobileMe Gallery?
Who might be some potential "hosting services" that could guide me in an orderly and relatively painless transfer of my iMovie projects?
I'm looking for a paid service that can offer a quality presentation of my work...versuses a "just OK" free service.
Please communicate in layman's terms...I'm not particularly tech-savy.I too am not a techie...but with the assistance of the SmugMug customer support team, I now have a very viable replacment for MobileMe when the Apple service ends in June. All I had to do is go to iDisk where my iMovie projects currently reside and download each project to my computer, creating a file. That file can then be uploaded to SmugMug. As with MobileMe, the publishing process (uploading) takes awhile. A six minute iMovie took about an hour. But once in place, you can either distribute via SmugMug's broådcasting system or you can create a short version of the URL (the site address) and include that in a standard email to family and friends.
When I learned of the demise of MM...I was fearful that would be the end of my iMovie projects. Definitely not so with the discovery of SmugMug! And like I said in the second posting above, the good folks at SmugMug are totally on top of the whole customer support thing...so you won't be out there wondering what to do next. -
I received a $15.00 gift card. All but $.99 has been used. I want to make other purchases but can't as I'll be over the .99 with the tax......Of course I have a credit card on file, someone please tell me what to do in order to make another purchase?

Yes.
If you have a gift card balance, iTunes will use that.
If the total is more than that, the difference will be charged to your credit card.
You need do nothing.

What happens when multiple users access the same servlet?
Do the users share all the same resources? Or is a new process generated for each user? I have a servlet that builds a string to return to the user and I only have myself to test, so I can't really see what happens when many users access the servlet. Is there a possibility that the string will get screwed up, like when dealing with multiple threads, or do all the users get their own resources and I don't have to worry about that?
huh? if you can point a test servlet at it, you can point a browser at it (even if the servlet does not serve html it will run)
try pasting the servlet URL into a web browser
refreshing multiple browsers repeatedly could provide a manual test -

Thank you for your question. It sounds like you are seeing some graphical issues when you boot your iPad at the Apple logo. I had a couple of recomendations for you to try. First, reset your iPad:
Reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

What happened to clicker/headphones in the 3rd generation Nano?
In previous models I've set the clicker setting to headphones. This way I was able to operate the iPod without looking at the screen, even with sound isolating headphones.
In the new Nano the only options are on and off, in both settings I am unable to use the click wheel without looking at the screen.
Am I missing something here?
Thanks.I'd also like to know what happened to this option in the 3rd gen nano. In Settings > Clicker, the options are now "Turn Off Sound While Scrolling" and "Play Sound While Scrolling", where the click is audible only through the iPod's speaker and not the headphones.
In the mini, 1st and 2nd generation nano, Settings > Clicker gave you the options of "Turn Off Sound While Scrilling", "Play Click Through Speaker", and "Play Click Through Headphones".
I just don't see much point in the clicker being played through the external speaker: if you're using the iPod surely you've got headphones in your ears! And not having audible feedback for menus through the headphones just makes it that much harder to use the ClickWheel. I hope that a software update restores this missing feature! -
my 3gs stays on the screen with the usb and itunes picture on it. when i restore the phone on itunes it give me (-1) code. what shoud i do?
You could try restoring and staying away from that backup. I've had that happen to me before on my iPhone 4 from a corrupt backup. You could be coincidently mixing the two issues, sounds to me like you got lucky and your phone is A-OK but you may be using a corrupt backup.

Thanks Community! I solved the problem. In fact it was not a problem but lack of understanding. These guys at Apple are way ahead in thir thinking. I will try to explain as short as I can.
In Lion, ihe Prefferences/Display show only two choices: 6-7 steps of resolution and some color tab. No two screens, no two display to overlap, nothing for us to do. "That was the problem"! Everything is automatic.
When I connected the HDMI cable to the Miniport into a T-bolt slot, the TV screen showed the "spiral galaxy" how Zyriab is calling it. In fact he gave me the best clue. That shows the connection is good. But where is the Mac Book image?
You have to drag it to the right out of the Mac Book display area, and "voila!" it will continue on the TV screen. The same with the mouse pointer, push it out ofthe Mac Book display area and you see it on the TV sreen. Good image, you can keep the max resolution, etc. The sound is still on the Book's speakers. I have to figure that out.

Is the store that you bought the card from nearby so that you can try going back and asking if they can activate the card properly ? If it's not, or if they can't/won't activate, then you will need to do as the message says and contact iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then iTunes Cards And Codes (you will probably need to give them images of the front and back of the card, and possibly its receipt)

After updating to iOS 5.0.1 my iphone 4 is frozen on the screen with the apple logo and the progress bar under it. Held the power and home button, the phone shut off, and restarted the progress. If i try to turn the phone on, it keeps telling me to connect to iTunes. Once I do, it asks me to restore, i click restore, but it keeps on freezing at the screen. What is the problem? Error 1603 comes up. Followed the link to apple's page but nothing that was said there worked.
