What happened to the history selection in Bookmarks?
Updated OS yesterday and history no longer exists. Bookmarks bar is the first listing,
If you touch the Bookmarks icon and then touch the "Clock" icon at the bottom you will see history.
If you are saying that all your Bookmarks are gone then:
Try terminating the Safari App and restarting it.
To terminate Safari:
1. Click the Home button
2. Double-click the Home button to bring up the "recent Apps" tray at the bottom.
3. Touch and hold on the Safari icon until a "-" appears
4. Touch the "-" on the Safari App to terminate

Used to be you could select which page you wished to go back or forward to from the arrow icons on the navigation toolbar. The history menu item only shows 10 sites without having to open history for today. What happened? Is there another icon or a new plug in for this functionality? I used it all the time.

The back/forward buttons have been moved to right-hand side of the navigation bar and the drop-down was removed. User right-click or hold click for one second to see the tab history. This is item #5 in my list.
The History menu also has "Open Previous session" and "Open closed windows",
to see more history use the History sidebar ("Ctrl+H") or the History Library List ("Ctrl+Shift+H") and sort or view by "Last visited".

What happens when the row selection of a table is set as 'none'?
I have a page, with a Search box, Departments and Employees tables. The user will enter a departmentId and click on Search button. Departments will be displayed. The departmentId column in Departments table is surrounded with a link. So when the user will click on the link, the desired employees will be displayed in the Employees table, if there is a view link between the VOs.
Now suppose I have removed the view link. And the row selection of the Departments table is set as 'none'. So is it possible to get the desired employees of the chosen departmentId in this scenario, as because row selection has been disabled in the Departments table?
I also dont want to use the Set Property Listener in this use case.Hi,
If you have disabled rowselection and also are not implementing the selection listener? How will you find which row did the user select?

What happen to the link for organizing bookmarks in FF4?
After upgrading to FF4, I noticed the link to organize bookmarks is no longer there. Where do i go to organize my bookmarks e.g. add a new folder, move sites from one folder to another, etc.?
Using XP sp3You can look in the toolbar palette to see if you can find the Bookmarks Menu button (with the drop marker) and drag the icon on the Navigation Toolbar.
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout" -
What happened to the history & private window tab that I used to have and used
When you updated my browser you removed the firefox tab in the upper left corner of the screen. That tab had links to history, bookmarks, private window and more. Now the tab is gone and I can no longer access these features. I used those features and want them back.
Look in the Upper Right hand corner of Firefox, do you see a little icon with 3 lines on top of each other? Click that to find all your History, bookmarks and private browsing settings, [[Learn more about the design of the new Firefox]]

Why is it so hard to find a list of MY bookmarks right on the page?It is still there, either right-click on the back/forward buttons, or hold down the left mouse button until the list appears.

Sorry, but it's gone. Pages 4.3 is still located in an iWork Folder within your Applications Folder if you need to get work done.
Please be sure to let Apple know which of teh dozens of features they've cut are affecting you, so they know to put them back in!

I've looked under the Bookmarks heading as well as History. What happened to the extremely useful "Bookmark All Tabs". Loved that feature of Firefox. Thank you!!!!!!
Right-click '''on''' a Tab to see that menu item or use {Ctrl + Shft + D}.
In conjunction with the new Firefox button in Firefox 4.0 and with the addition of some new features that added a number of new menu items, many of the older menu items were moved around or only appear under certain conditions. It can be a bit confusing until you get used to the changes, but beyond adding new menu items in the future for new features, I don't think there will be major changes like that for awhile. -
What happened to the drop down list that said recent bookmarks?
On Firefox to the right side of the page, there is a little star, and when you move your mouse on it, it
will say, bookmark this page. Next to the star is a little icon, that says show your bookmarks.
So, when I use to click on that icon, it would say most recent bookmarks, along with bookmarks toolbar, and unsorted
bookmarks. I would like to know what happened to the icon that said, most recent bookmarks, or recently added bookmarks.
I would appreciate any help in this matter.

* Smart folders show a list created by a query of the places.sqlite database that stores bookmarks and history in Firefox.
* Smart folder lists show a maximum of 10 entries by default.
* Bookmarks and history items that show up in a smart folder list are stored elsewhere in another folder and any changes made are applied to the real bookmark or history item.
* If you add a new bookmark or visit a website then a new item is added at the top and the entry at the bottom disappears from that list.
* Items that disappear from the list are not gone, but merely do not show up anymore in that list.
* Actions like copy & paste or delete that you perform on bookmarks in such a list are done on the original bookmark. -
Changing up what happens at the 'select resource - queued' step
Greetings!
So, I'm curious .. we'd like to change how we do things regarding what happens at the select resource - queued step. Our current state is a series of business checks, place the call on hold, play CUCM MOH, take the call off hold, go back to the queue loop and repeat.
To change things up I'd like to play some royalty-free music as a prompt instead of putting the call on hold. I would use boolean flags to keep track of what prompts have played so callers do not hear the same wav file over and over and over. So, I'm thinking of doing something like this ...
At the queued step ..
play a prompt
begin the queue loop
business check
agent check
play royalty-free (RF) music clip 1 (45 sec)
play informational prompt 1 (15 sec)
opt-out check
go back to the queue loop
2nd time through ..
business check
agent check
play RF 2 (45 sec)
play info 2 (15 sec
opt-out check
3rd time ...
business check
agent check
play RF 3 (45 sec)
play info 3 (6 sec)
opt-out check
4th time ...
business check
agent check
play RF 4 (45 sec)

And maybe one more time playing these types of prompts before we switch to placing the call on hold and playing CUCM MOH. Generally, most calls are answered before the five minute mark, however, we do have outliers who wait a very long time. Playing CUCM MOH might be the appropriate thing to do for those rare instances?
I'm curious if anyone else has tried this and am hoping for some feedback?

There's nothing wrong with doing it that way. I've seen a few customers play music from prompts rather than holding; it's easier to maintain/change that way.

My history only shows today. what happened to the yesterday icon?
I noticed that under history setting I only have today option with calendar icon directly on the left side of it .
I used to have a yesterday option as well.
What happened to the yesterday option.
Did I delete it by mistake?
Can I reinstall it somehow?
Please advise.

What happened to the recently purchased icon on the left side of the playlist? I used to could purchase songs from one of my computers and then put them on the second authorized computer by selecting recently purchased. Is there another way?
Well in order to keep all the ratings, playcounts ect ect of songs in iTUnes, place the songs back into there original folders/places on the "Old harddrive" by cutting (Not copying) them from the new Harddrive. Now iTunes should report the songs has being there and have ! marks beside the imported folder from your external Harddrive.
Now you will delet the dead/broken links (Or missing music from the new drive)in iTUnes. Goto Ottos site for a script that will remove dead links and other things here

Now with everything in place and the dead links removed you will either consolidate the library or set it to copy to another Folder. If you consolidate it moves ALL your music listed in iTunes to the "iTunes Music" folder and can not be reversed. If you set it to copy, it will just copy music from its current folder to the iTunes music folder. You will have to pick the best option for you but consolidating will work best if your trying to free up space. To consolidate goto "Advanced" and select "Consolidate Library". To copy goto Edit>preferenses>Advanced tab>general sub tab and check "Copy FIles to iTunes music Folder when added to library". THis location is also where you will change the location of iTunes Music folder from your old harddrive to the new one by hitting the "Change" button above the reset button -

For example, before in Preview, you could select text to be read in text-to-speech. Now, this feature seemed to have just vanished! What happened? -

What happens when the multiply effect is applied to both the object and the graphic within?
Hi everyone,
I could really use some help with this...
I'm getting a booklet ready to be printed. Originally, half of the pages were to be printed on paper with a (physical) colour. For budget reasons however, I've now decided to print the paper colour, and have the content of the pages overprinted on the tint in the background, which I've applied to the pages in the background of an additional master page.
When I set the objects to multiply, they blend with the background colour, which is the effect I'm looking for, as there would be no 'paper white' on the pages that I want to appear as though printed on coloured paper.
There's something confusing me though; you can also set the graphic within the object frame to multiply. This makes the graphic appear darker, which I don't really understand, since there is no extra colour within the graphic that accounts for this. I've looked at the output in the resulting pdf, and it looks like it's not just an on-screen effect, but the extra amount of (in this case) yellow would also be visible in the printed result.
Does anyone have an explanation for this? Please see the graphic for a visual example.

Yes. There is a heartbeat mechanism between all cluster members so they detect when a
member has left the cluster. The primary server recognizes when it's secondary server
has failed, and then proceeds to search for another member of the cluster to make as
it's new secondary.
