What happened to the Movie Properties in the new Quicktime?

I am running 10.6 with FCStudio 3 and I can not access the movie properties in the Quick Time 10.0. Any ideas?

Movie Properties is not a feature of QuickTime X Player as of right now. Use QuickTime 7 Player which is probably in your Utilities folder (if not, it can be installed using the Optional Installs on your Snow Leopard install disk).

Move your cursor way over to the right side of the window. There should be a thin bar. when you hover over the left side of the thin bar, the cursor will change to a vertical bar with an arrow sticking out the left. Click and drag to the left.

* If, on Windows, in Firefox 3.6 the menu bar is hidden then press and hold the Alt key down or press F10, that should make the "Menu Bar" appear
* Go to "View > Toolbars" and check-mark "Menu Bar" with a click on it to make that permanent. See [[Menu bar is missing]]).
* Make sure that you have the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then see if you can find them in the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window
* If you see the item in the Customize window then drag it back from the Customize window to one of the toolbars.
* If, in "View > Toolbars > Customize", you do not see that item then click the "Restore Default Set" button

You need to enable the display for metadata in Browser and Viewer.
There are several places how whereyou can turn it on; for example, from the main menu bar "view" menu:
View > Metadata display > Viewer > Show Metadata
View > Metadata display > Browser > Show Metadata
You need to configure the Metadata shown in these overlays.
Use
View > Metadata display > Browser > Customize
Enable all tags you want in the left column of this panel. The "keyword" are enabled in the "Content" section of the left colum.

You never stop paying for subscription software. You will keep getting charged monthly. It's not a hire purchase agreement where you own the software after paying a set amount for an agreed time period. Neither is it a lease where you pay a residual amount to own the software at the end.
You will keep paying the monthly fee for as long as you want to use the software. If you want to use the software forever then you keep paying forever.
On the plus side, you get all updates and upgrades for free as part of your membership.
When you stop paying the monthly fee, you lose the use of the software.

I have noticed an issue with utilizing the “stream” function on iOS 7. If you choose to just stream the movie by hitting the play button it seems to actually start downloading (which is fine) but if you are say halfway thru the movie and stop you can clearly see that storage has been reduced under the usage, yet under the “videos” tab it still states “No Data” the only way to delete what you have partially downloaded is to fully download the video, which is fine but there is no way to tell what videos have been partially downloaded (I.e which occurs a lot when your child switches between movies using the so called “stream” function). This becomes troublesome once the capacity of the ipad is almost met and you have no way to delete this data since you may have several videos that have started to be viewed (hence partially downloaded). Apple needs to somehow make it truly streaming or provide an update so the storage can be managed. The only way I have been able to remove partially downloaded videos is by doing a total software restore. (The video data that is in question when connected to my MacBook shows up in iTunes as “other”) if you have any insight into this issue it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

IMO opendns is either doing this on purpose (unlikely) or they're under some sort of attack/being used to attack the specific torrent sites although I'm open to other explanations. I believe using the automatic setting for DNS is using my own ISP's DNS servers (which again, work fine... but still...)
I'd rather not use Google's public DNS servers as Google is to commercial these days and I think there's potential privacy issues.

My current cell contract ends in early December and I would really like to buy an iPhone, but that means I will have to switch to AT&T here in the U.S. Problem is, if all my plans go accordingly then I will be studying at a university in the UK this coming fall.
Does anybody know what happens if I move overseas like this? Since AT&T doesn't provide service in the UK (to my knowledge) will I be able to leave my contract without paying a hefty termination fee? Will 02 allow me to use my iphone to get a contract in the UK or is an iphone from the US locked to AT&T in some way?

The iPhone is carrier locked to AT&T, so you wouldn't be able to take it to the UK and use it there without getting the International Plan to avoid racking up some nasty fees. The other problem you'll run into is that AT&T will cancel your service if your in roaming long enough. I think the best thing would be to not get the iPhone here, nor over in the UK (as you'll run into the same problem trying to bring it back here). I know it probably isn't what you want to hear, but I would wait.
There probably will be some who come in and mention unlocking the phone to use it on any carrier. But there's to be an update soon that will make that undoable again. None the less it is your decision to unlock your phone, but take warning that it will void your phones warranty.
Oh and I forgot to mention, I hope you get to study in the UK. It sounds pretty exciting.

1) An authentication scheme is a definition of what is required for an authentication process. In the iView you can set what authentication process (UserName/Password, X.509 certificate, etc.) the iView requires. Find more information <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/90/52c43dac1bcf51e10000000a114084/frameset.htm">here</a>.
2) The attribute "Can be Merged" allows you to merge certain objects (worksets, pages, iviews) under the same point in the portal navigation structure. All objects with the same value for attribute "Merge ID" are merged together. The object with the highest value for attribute "Merge Priority" provides the name displayed in the navigation elements (tabs in TLN and links in Detailed Navigation)
3) Find a good explanation of the attribute Entry Point <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/4e/3e703e632c7937e10000000a114084/frameset.htm">here</a>.
4) If this parameter is "true" a debugging screen is displayed before starting the WebDynpro application. Make sure that the parameter DebugMode in the service configuration (=>Applications=>com.sap.portal.appintegrator => Service => Common_Configuration) is not 'false' if you want to use this feature.
5) The attribute Tray Type defines the design of the iView's frame. The attribute can take the following values:
fill: The content area appears with a background color
plain: The content area appears with a white background and a frame

Adding an Attribute to a VO changes the custom properties of the existing attributes of the VO.
We had a requirement to add an extra column in the VO.
We modified the underlying EO to include the new column from the table, and modified the VO as well.
Jdeveloper was changing the custom properties of the existing attributes in the VO. Our fix was not working as expected.
Could anyone please inform us:
1. On what logic does Jdeveloper determine to modify the existing custom properties of other VO attributes.
2. Can this behavior of Jdeveloper be controlled through any mechanism.

Problems with the Acknowledged propertie in the WCS

Hello,
I have a problem with the ACK propertie in the WCS. I check a logg entrie in the logg with the ACK, in few seconds/minute/hour this alarm disappear, and then if this alarm appear again, this message show the ACK marked.
Should not receive the message again without the ACK marking? what is the problem?

According also to what is stated in the official guides, this seems to be the expected behavior:
"You can acknowledge the alarm to prevent it from showing up in the Alarm Summary page. The alarm remains in WCS and you can search for all Acknowledged alarms using the alarm search functionality."

So you can acknowledge that specific alarm once to not show it in the alarm page anymore, only for that occurrence. If however the alarm occurs again, the new occurrence will show up and let you know that you previously acknowledge a similar instance.
