What happened to the new releases alphabetical list?

What happened to the new releases alphabetical list? You used to get a list sorted by date when you click ALL in new releases. Now, they only list "featured" new releases with pictures of the artwork. Is there still a way to see the alphabetical list by release date.

yes - i have the latest version; and the change to their new releases occured over a month ago. A couple weeks ago, the old format returned briefly.
Does anyone from Itunes review the forum? I would buy a lot more tracks if i was able to see all that are available.

You used to be able to click on New Releases and get a line listing of everything that was added to iTunes for that week and the previous 3 weeks. What happened to that? The whole poing of going on iTunes was to click on bands I hadn't heard of and find out what they sounded like. Now you can't do that anymore. I don't care about the 20 CDs in the New Release link that are in the Best Buy and Circuit City Sunday Supplement.
Where is the list of everything that's been added this week?

It's not down, seems the link is missing. If you go to http://trailers.apple.com and then click on the link to Trailer in iTunes it will take you to the trailers page inside iTunes. It's being updated as there are new trailers showing there posted today (June 30).

Hello. I created a new iTunes Library about two years ago, but I can only seem to find the files for my old Library (iTunes Library files that were last updated in 2008). I have the .xml file for my current Library, but not the .itl, which I now need. How do I find it/ access it/ save it?

I bought the new ipad but now when I go to the apple webside I can't find my ipad. It shows iPad with retina display but that one has a different charger than my new ipad. Did my iPad fail? And can I return it for the iPad with retina display?

No. If you absolutely have to have the new model when it is available, you can sell the current one and use the proceeds toward it. Otherwise, there is nothing at all wrong with the model you have. Still does what it was designed to do when you bought it.

Restore your library from an up to date backup.
If you don't have a backup (which you really should), see turingtest2's user tip on Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash for steps necessary to restore your library within iTunes - this assumes that your media is all present on your computer, as it always should be.

What happened to the "NEW" category in Vision Film...

Every week I used to be able to check out which new films had been added to the Film Club list but now, the "NEW" link on my Film Club page has gone missing. Has anyone else noticed this? It's still there in the Box Office.

Already being discussed in another thread. Several of us are very annoyed with it.
BT want to up their IPTV views and were boasting they had so many million views for certain categories. This has now put me off looking for new films. I can't be bothered going through every film company so I just look at the TV section each thursday now.
I also notice they have put on the much heralded Disney films like POTC but there is no disney category.

All I get now is a full month of history.

Sorry about that, not sure what may have happened, but it sounds as if the database is corrupt &/or you have lost information due to lack of capacity.
Unfortunately Firefox does not backup the History, so unless you have yourself backedup the databse file or your profile there may not be much that can be done.
The file may be one that Windows saves previous versions of so you could look into that as a method of restoring information.The file is places.sqlite

Before doing that make copies of the current file. The file resides in the Firefox profile. The quickest method of finding the profile is to use

So what happened to the Telstra network this time to causing a huge outage affecting home and work?

Between 6:40pm and 7:40pm AEST tonight I saw both my own Cable network as well as the Business MPLS fail and come back up at the same time. Considering that the 2 networks are meant to be completely isolated, it would be good to know what cause the outage and too see just who what information I get back from both our Telstra Rep and the 24x7 CrowdSupport as to what caused the outage.

You see, today I opened iTunes and started seeing this pink/purple background. Is this the mandatory new face for the newest version of iTunes? Or is there anyway I can reverse back to the original clean, white background? Thank you.

I am a seasonal user (thankfully) of FIOS TV and DVR and recently returned to that home and quickly became very frustrated by all of the shortcomings of that device. (I am a very satisfied DISH Hopper user most of the year.)
Over a year ago, a rep on the phone assured me that there was new DVR in the works with tons more storage, PIP, improved guide, etc.
All I can see is more unwanted splash screens and advertising!
Is there a new DVR in the pipeline at all??

I've read that the long-awaited new DVR (the media hub type) is in field testing and MAY be out early next year.

What happened to the sidebar with small monthly calendars. I used it constantly.

I used the sidebar with the small calendars all the time. It was much quicker and easier to use than switching to the year format with iCal.

The mini calendars were not included with Lion iCal, but according to Mountain Lion: Hands on with Contacts and Calendar | Macworld they will return with the release of Calendar in Mountain Lion.

You need to copy some files and your iTunes folder to the new computer. Do you have a backup of your old computer (or still have the old computer?) Was the old computer a Mac or PC?

Unfortunely, all movies and songs purchased in iTunes will be lost...you'll have to purchase them again! Any applications you've purchased, you can download again for free.
