I no longer have the tool bar. The only way to exit is to use the task manager to exit. Bookmarks, history, nothing is visible. When exiting via the task function, it says the system is waiting for a reply, but nothing shows on screen. There is no way I will upgrade my other computers to this new version of Firefox!!

There is no orange button shown. All I have shown is:
the Firefox Logo
Google box to enter search item, search
Signup
Restore previous screen
Only way out is cntl/alt/del

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

With the iPod connected to the computer go to the Music pane for the iPod in iTunes and check the box that says sync only checked songs. The check the songs you want synced and click on Sync. For more info see:

I am unable to open new tabs, in any way I attempt to do so. I have checked the settings and they are fine, so it's not those. The only way I can open a new tab is to right click on a link and instruct it to open in a new tab.

Some basics please, what vintage is your MBP, have you plugged anything else into the wall socket to verify that it is live? which light doesn't turn on, the charger or the MBP?
Hold the power button down for 15 seconds, wait for 2 then press it normally and see te MBP it turns on

Is Cloud the only way I can use this software?

I am halfway through my Lightroom free trial and agree it's the best there is - I would like to buy it but I'm not in a position to pay monthly forever. I'll quite happily pay for the software pack and any future updates but I'm told 'stand alone' versions are being phased out and won't be supported by Adobe any more so reluctantly I have deleted my free trial version.
Can anyone confirm this situation for me. please?

The only official statement from Adobe is that Lr will be available as a stand-alone progamme "indefinitely".
Anyone who tells you that they know exactly what Adobe means by that, or tells you that it means that stand-alone Lr is on its way out, is lying.

How do I set up my iTunes to stream through a sony str-dn1030 receiver that states I can do so? Is apple tv the only way I can do this or can I do it wirelessly?

What happened to the hand drag sliders in CS6? You know when you would create an adjustment layer and then you could hover below the sliders and just start dragging either way? And you could option+double click and reset the value to 0. Is this functionality still in CS6?

There is no place I get a "Hand" when near sliders in an adjustment layer, though I can click on the sliders themselves and drag them.
Conroy, can you do a screen grab of what you're describing? Perhaps I'm not looking at the same thing you are.
