I signed up for a trial version of adobe convert pdf to words documents. but i cannot get ANYTHING accomplished to even see if i want to purchase it because it will not let me activate or use the trial

I'm sorry that you're having trouble with your Adobe software. Adobe doesn't offer a trial version of ExportPDF; did you perhaps download a trial of Acrobat?.
In any case, what happens when you try to use the Adobe software or service? Do you get an error message?
Please let me know what software you're using, and the precise error or issue that you're encountering and we'll do our best to get this sorted out for you.

When the public beta ends, you have to purchase a copy of the release version. You will find that the beta version suddenly won't work any more... and I would imagine that you'll get the same purchase options as everybody else. As for session loss - well you won't lose them if you purchase the software; they'll still open fine.

That's a much more complicated question to answer - simply because we haven't made a definitive list yet, and for non-disclosure reasons I can't say anything more than Adobe has already made public. The one thing that's hacking off a lot of AA3.0 users at present is that it is confirmed that the new version won't write CDs directly, though. Also it's a matter of public knowledge that there will be no MIDI sequencing capability either, but personally I'd have that as a gain, not a loss! For a lot of Mac users though, none of this will be an issue because they never had it in the first place; therefore they can hardly miss it...

What happened to a version of photoshop you could purchase and not have to pay adummy at adobe each month for the privilege to use their software? This is the same thing as paying for protection from the company that makes the software, rather like a union! This is nothing but pure greed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What happens after the Trial

am thinking of downloading the trial of Elements. If I do, use it, have a bunch of pictures in it then want to purchase the software during the 30 days, can I install a version from disc and preserve what I did with the trial. In other words, I would download the trial from Adobe use it, and I I liked it buy the software from Amazon because it is 1/3 the price. If I did that, would the files I had already created carry over to the new installation or would I have to uninstall the trial (and all my pictures) before I could put the purchased version on my computer?

But you *must* uninstall the trial before installing the retail version. As Paige said, your photos/projects are separate from the program files, so this is not a problem.

What happens when the process version is changed to 1.1, for example?

A little problem here. I was on the 66 revision of my process and then I made a modification that was incompatible with the previous version.
So, BPM change the version to 1.1.0, but I dont know why, I just cant see the new instances on workspace.
The old ones are ok.
My instances are created by WebService. I know they're been created cause I can see them in log viewer.
I'm in my development server, i'm afraid to upload it to production server and get the same problem.
Any ideias?

I tried everything and the instances keep not appearing. I tried even deploy the same version again making a major number increase and it not works either.
So, I restarted the engine and everything worked ok...
Now I can see those instances, even with my .net web service (PAPIWS)...
OBPM is driving me crazy...

Yes! As long as you don't delete your project files/library, you'll be fine. When you install the full version, it might create a new library, go to your movies folder or wherever your current library is and just double click it to open it.

Each time you open a trial version Adobe normally presents you with a countdown screen showing you precisely how many days of your trial are remaining with buttons asking you to sign up or buy the software.

Thanks for answering. I have the standalone version of Lightroom 6 on my Windows 7 64 bit desktop. A number of times when have tried to open the program, the Adobe Application Manager has popped up requiring me to sign in even though I had not knowingly signed out. Lightroom will not launch unless I am signed in. Frequently when Lightroom launches, I see a "Server Busy" message telling me to "switch to the other program" without telling me which program to switch to. I have pinned the AAM to my notification area and have unchecked the "Show OS Notifications box" to see if the "Server Busy" message goes away. So far everything seems to be okay

What happens after the 90 days free trial period of Creative Cloud?

I just wanted to access a free trial Version of InDesign as I didn't have access to my computer with all the Adobe programs back home, but then I ended up (without beeing noticed properly) in the free Creative Cloud test period. Now I'm wondering, what happens after the 90 days, because I can't find any option to delete my Adobe-ID from the Creative Cloud.
I'm not interested in the paid version of Creative Cloud. How can I delete the connection of my Adobe-ID to Creative Cloud?

The free trial is for 30 days, not 90. Just do not want you to be suprised on day 31. And as Cozmicone said a dialog will appear telling you the trial is over and you will no longer be able to run InDesign.

In Pages I used to be able to edit a template and "save a version" to update the template. Now i have to rename the template to save the changes. Why is this happening? what happen to "save a version"? its no longer an option under "file".

In your description you say the first document opens as the Title you gave it.
Templates always open as Untitled so it sounds like you have saved a regular document, perhaps into your templates folder which is possible.
Since you have already worked on it and it has been previously saved, Lion will now Save for you and Save a Version is available
The other document does open as Untitled so sounds like a real template and as Peggy has pointed out will not have either Revert nor Save a Version until you Save it and have changed something in it.
This is a classic example of just how Apple's supposedly "simplification" of the process, is leading to confusion of what has happened. That the conditions and resulting actions from those conditions is so convoluted says it all.
It all reminds me of the Monty Python Life of Brian sketch with the "simplified" John Cleese instructions to the class, as to if you have a brother in an older dorm whether to hang your hat and bag on the hooks provided. The trouble is Apple does not get the joke, that it is transforming itself into a frequently self contradictory bumbling bureacracy. The price of unchallenged self appointed geniushood.

I just updated to Numbers 3.0.1. In the old version if I started to type a name that was already in the spreadsheet, it would automatically fill it in. That doesn't happen in the new version. What am I missing to get that to happen?

If you frequently enter repeating values in a column and don't want to type the same text over and over again, instead of just waiting for Apple's updates why not try using an enhanced feature in Numbers 3 that in many (probably most) situations is even better than "auto-complete"?
Numbers 3 has an enhanced Pop-Up Menu functionality that helps prevent typos or capitalization inconsistencies from creeping in and messing up your data. It is also much more efficient than auto-complete in Numbers for iOS, should you ever want to sync to an iPad or iPhone and do data entry there.
Pop-Up Menu is much enhanced over what it was in Numbers 2.3, and is easy to set up:
Select the whole column or range before formatting as Pop-Up Menu and your existing values in that column or range will pre-populate a menu automatically:
Then you can remove the values you don't want in the list, such as the column header (and possibly some previous spelling errors too!):
And after this easy one-time setup all you have to do thereafter is to choose from the pop-up list when you add rows:

Should you ever want to take your Numbers with you and do data entry on an iPad or iPhone, in a touch interface, pop-ups are much more efficient than typing the first few letters of items. You can scroll with ease through a list of dozens of items to make a pick. Anybody using Numbers cross-platform should favor Pop-Up so they can use their documents efficiently for data input on the go, which can be a productivity booster.
