What happened to viewing my brush size in latest Photoshop CC 2014 update

I am attempting to have Photoshop CC 2014 show me the brush size again for tools like Dodge, Burn, Paint, Clone, Healing and etc. I did the October update and now all I have is a bold crosshair and no brush size shown. I can change the size but not seeing the brush size on the screen.

Apple needs to test the carrier if they offer LTE as expected.
If your country/carrier is not on the list then there's no LTE on your iPhone.

What happened to my computer's ability to play sound when I updated to OSX 10.8.2? I had a hard time updating from 10.8 to 10.8.2 and now that I have my sound is gone and not adjustable.

I have a 13" Macbook Pro running OSX 10.8 and when I tried to update to 10.8.1 through the Mac App store it didn't acknowledge that there was an update available so I went to the apple website and manually downloaded the update. When I attempted to update it that way the installer said that my computer did not meet the requirements of the update. That was strange as it was already running 10.8.
So I called apple care and then gave me instructions to restart my computer holding option+command+R and redownload Mountain Lion and after it finally finished, it installed but now I just noticed that my sound icon on the menu bar is greyed out and in system preferences I cannot adjust the sound output. I don't understand what happened, all I wanted to do was update my OS. If anyone has any solutions I'm open. I'm also going to set up a genius bar appointment.

If there is no quick answer for this, can you please confirm if Oxfords's Speech API can support SRGS compiled gramar usage, as well as PLS and Lex Files?

Brush cursor will not increase above size 400 in Photoshop CC 2014, any ideas?

Running on Yosemite, all brush settings look correct (caps lock is off, cursor set to normal). If I increase the brush size to above 400 the cursor stays at the 400 size, but if I paint on a mask it the actual size noted in the size dialogue. When I shrink it back down the cursor stays at the 400 size until I hit 300 and then it starts to shrink. I don't get it. Any ideas about this? Thanks!

It sounds like you're hitting another video driver bug in MacOS 10.10.
Please let Apple know about this so they can get whatever details that need to narrow down and solve the driver bug.

What happens if I decide to cancel my CC Photoshop Photography Program AFTER 12 months are over?

In the "Terms and conditions," it states under "Renewal," "After the first 12 months, we will automatically renew your contract based on the current price of the offering."
I think I understand that the statement means that the monthly price of $9.99 is subject to change after the contract is over. I just want to make sure basically what I ask in my topic: what will happen if we decide to cancel after the 12 months are up? Is this program something we'd have to pay for forever?

You never stop paying for subscription software. You will keep getting charged monthly. It's not a hire purchase agreement where you own the software after paying a set amount for an agreed time period. Neither is it a lease where you pay a residual amount to own the software at the end.
You will keep paying the monthly fee for as long as you want to use the software. If you want to use the software forever then you keep paying forever.
On the plus side, you get all updates and upgrades for free as part of your membership.
When you stop paying the monthly fee, you lose the use of the software.

What Dell Laptops are good for 3D Typography in Photoshop CC 2014?

My range is $900 - $1100. I'm looking for a Dell Laptop with a 17" monitor and ample processor with enough "dedicated graphics memory" to utilize the 3D features on Photoshop CC 2014 and Illustrator cc 2014.
Unlike the AMD and NVIDIA processors, which have a certain amount of RAM dedicated for just the graphics, Intel's i3, i5, and i7 don't list what amount of the RAM is dedicated to the graphics.

As it happens, if you ever watch 'The Photoshop Guys' on Kelby TV, they nearly all use MBPs exclusively. I believe one of them also uses a desktop — maybe Cory Barker because he does all the 3D stuff. I'd worry that a laptop that does not specify video RAM, is using onboard video, and not a dedicated video card. The GPU is an important component regards Photoshop performance, so make sure you get it right.

What is up my fellow adobinites"!? Well I want to start off with, "I Have A Dilemma". When I open a .obj file in Photoshop CC 2014 There is an error every time but in reaction to the outcome, I torrented Photoshop Cs6 for educational and testing purposes and it worked flawlessly. It was the "Plus" version so yeah. Also the .obj file worked in After Effects CC 2014 and on the other hand I think Photoshop just got 3d features in I am correct.

What settings will keep the brush size "precise" while I am brushing?

I give up. With all the options in PSD CS5.5 (Mac 10.7) I can't figure out how to keep seeing the size of my brush while I'm using it. I can see and adjust the size of the brush ( ] [ ) but as soon as I hold down the mouse button the circle goes away and I cannot see the edge of my brush. Consequently my brushing is not precise.
Can someone please tell me what combination of settings will allow me to see the cursors I want in the size they will be applied and have that size be apparent AS I am applying them?

I have checked all the settings when importing..the maximum size Lightroom will keep it is 30x 40cm... Lightroom is doing it to all the photos I import into the program.

Digital files don't have sizes in centimeters or inches, meters or yards. They have only pixels. If LR is not changing the number of pixels, it is not changing the digital image. When the image is printed, the number of pixels packed into every inch has a large effect on the quality of the print. This is the pixels per inch number, or "ppi". For a smooth print paper it is generally accepted that 300 ppi produces optimum quality, but for canvas a lower ppi, as low as 150 even, will do. Unfortunately, your camera puts a tag on the digital file which sets a default ppi of only 72. The reason is very anachronistic and silly and is a hangover from 30 years ago when Apple monitors had a resolution of 72 dpi, a measure long ago abandoned. That tag is misleading because it gives the impression that a very large print can be made from the pixels just as they come from the camera (the smaller the ppi, the larger the print) and some beginners think that is the only size print that can be made. But that not true. It is only a default tag, a suggestion, and it can be disregarded or changed (LR changes it to 240 ppi) and any sized print made. The real, operative, ppi will be the pixel dimensions divided by the print dimensions. Your image with all its pixels (uncropped other than to the 1:1.4 paper ratio) will have an operative 93 ppi on b0 paper which is a bit low. I would suggest using LR's resize function to double it to 7296 pixels on the short side.

What happened to viewing album covers in the new iTunes?

It seems to have disappeared, not under View or any other menu item. I liked having a large image of an album cover, rather than the new microscopic version. Has it gone for good? If so, how can I revert to old iTunes?

I only shoot Nikon Raw, Using Lightroom to make adjustments and exports. I am using Windows 7.
I use an external card reader and always copy everything directly to my computer first, then Import to Lightroom. I then reformat the memory card, so I can use it again.
I have never seen this before in my images.
After Importing Into Lightroom, on some of my images, (a few scattered instances) I'm seeing something that looks like this , an exclamation mark in a black circle that says;
Under Library Tab: "Lightroom has encountered problems reading this photo", "You will not be able to make adjustments to the photo"
Under Develop Tab: " An unexpected end-of-file occurred"
Any Image, that has that icon on them, In Lightroom, I cannot make ANY edits or exports.
The file size looks right, I can see what the image looks like. I tried opening the image in Photoshop, but I get the same error message; " An unexpected end-of-file occurred"
Why can't these images be accessed by my photo editing programs?
Is the file corrupted ?
Did it happen in file transfer, or by a faulty memory card?
Can I save the images?
What can I do to prevent this from ever happening again?

I do put myself at blame. I did not make sure that all the images were successfully imported. I just copied everything and away I went.
This is a first for me. I did not think that such a thing could happen, I thought for sure that if anything like this were to happen, that an error message would pop up saying something like "some of your images did not copy properly".
Knowing all of this, am I doomed? Is there nothing I can do? Perhaps there's some debugging tool?
There's gotta be something, it cant be a total right off, can it? Is there some method of recovery?
