i got bleach in my ipod .. i tried turning it on and nothing is happening .. any ideas?

First of all trying to turn it on or charge it right now is bad. They will likely damage it more. Try to let the device dry. Bleach is very corrosive. It reacts a lot with copper traces. You can try placing it in Dry rice in airtight bag or container and leave it for a few days. Try not to shake it, rotate it, blow dry it, etc. You will likely spead the bleach farther around.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Kid messed up my passcode and i can't get into my ipod touch.

My kid was messing with my ipod and changed the passcode, and don't know what she changed it to
I can"t get i to unlock.
i have tried to go to iTunes and restore, but it brings up a "RESTORE and Update" message up.
When i click on this it starts to download and says it will take 18 min :: next I know it will take 60 min :::then 5 hr. to Download
I tried push ::off home and power and let power go. then plug back into iTunes to start as new user, but it comes back to the
