What happens if i activate a deactivated site?

Hello!
We're using crm 4.0 with sp 4 on an oracle system. We've a very big site for a workgroup server. This site was deactivated since one day. Now we want to activate this site again wondering what will happen
We don't want much traffic like we'll get if we detach and attach all subscriptions of the site.
What happens after activating the site again? Comes only the data (bdoc) since yesterday when the site was deactivated... or will i get a complete extract and the data on the workgroup server will be doubled?
What should we do if we only want the data since yesterday?

Server side -
Create report similar to Z_RESTORE_DELETED_SITES in your development system and implement the attached source code(Download from the note). Before you transport the report to more systems, you should always test it in a test system.
Use the attached version 2 of the report.
The report displays the list of the restorable deleted sites. Select the required sites and start the report.
During the execution the system restores the selected sites with their inbound and outbound queues. You have the option to restore the links to the subscriptions deleted last.
You cannot restore links to employees, organizations, the assignments to mobile client, as well as all other attributes apart from transfer group and connection group.
Note: When you restore the subscriptions the report triggers a realignment process for all objects to be assigned again. Therefore, start the report at times with low system load.
Consider the additional pieces of information issued by the report.
Please try the following option of restoring the data on the client -
The report does not generate any messages for the subscribed objects. You must trigger the restoring of the data manually on the client.
Wait until the realignment started by the report is processed completely.
In the administration console generate a bulk extract for all subscribed objects.

hi,
Info area - its an directory to hold all the infoproviders in it. also takes care of infoobjects created under it and the targets links.
IO - char and KF are there.
whenever you started creating the IA or IO it will be in M (modified/new version) while doing activation it gets changed status as A(active) version.
During activation the underlying tables gets generated and hence the corresponding table structures are kept ready to get data into them.

Info object catalogue is nothing but directory to maintain char infoobject catalogues and keyfigure infoobject catalogues. when you activate it wont create any tables.

Sound doesn't work when on the internet. Only has happened since firefox updated on my computer Aug. 25-26 sometime. All of my sound divices work fine off the net.

Reset the SMC and PRAM each at least 2-3 times. I don't know where you got instructions for these resets so please navigate to Intel iMac SMC and PRAM resets for correct instructions just in case.

What happens when it activates?

Just a quick nuts and bolts question from one of the non-activated:
When the activation comes through, does a different screen show up when you power on other then the "Activate iPhone: connect to iTunes" screen?
I know this sounds silly, but I've been told that everything is clear on my account and that I'm just waiting for it to magically come through to may phone (assuming there isn't some greater, deeper problem).

There are probably dozens of permutations here but here was my sequence of events
1. launch itunes
2. cradle phone
3. itunes goes through activation sequence up to the "final" step of "please wait up to 3 minutes", then eventually says "your phone needs more time to activate"
4. left everything in this state overnight. During this time on the phone it says something like "connect to iTunes to activate"
5. got final activation email in the morning, clicked on link in the email. Itunes briefly said "your phone will now finish activating" or some such. Within 1-2 minutes phone had a popup message saying "activation complete"
6. pressed HOME button, got the main menu.

Just updated mac to 10.8.5 and the new view for top sites is completely different. IMO, very bland, generic looking. Is there a way to get the more dynamic view back? Thanks

What happens if i activate a phone from a different account that is later cancelled?

My son purchased a Sony Xperia z3v on a new 2-year contract in October and has since decided that he wants to cancel that new account. I am planning on taking his z3v to replace my iPhone 4s on a different account. Since he was in town this weekend, he replaced the z3v on his account with an old smartphone and left me with the z3v. According the Verizon rep who activated the old device on my son's account, I should be able to activate his z3v on my account at any time.
Do I have to wait until he cancels his account before I can activate? I am planning on activating his z3v at a Verizon corporate store today, but he has not cancelled his account yet. If I do this, will the z3v be blacklisted when he does cancel the account? Or will it not be affected since he's already replaced it on his new account with an older smartphone?

That's correct. The Sony is free for activation now, and I am planning on taking it to the corporate store to activate this evening. My son won't be able to cancel his account until the end of the week, so I want to be sure his cancellation won't affect the Sony line if already activated on my plan due to the fact is was purchased as part of the new 2-year agreement.
I don't think the Sony would be blacklisted in this scenario, especially since he will be paying off the ETF immediately, but I want to be sure before I go activate.

My Email acount did not get logged into for a very long time and is now deactvated and now i can not log into the account is there anyway i can tranfer my apple ID stuff to a new account.

Almost everything tends to get hot when charging, ipods, iphones, macbooks, etc... if it gets too much hot, either is from the ipod, or from some lousy power supply.

What happened to the Backup Assistant website?

A few days ago it was working, and I was able to download all my contacts as a .csv file. Now, when I try to go there I get redirected to a page trying to sell me ringtones or song downloads. This happens whether I enter the url manually, using what shows on the backup assistant phone screen or when I click on the backup assistant link under Tools and Apps.

What happens to iweb-build site when I upgrade from Leopard (10.5.8) to Snow Leopard (10.6.3) and subsequently update that to 10.6.8 or even to 10.7? Evidently iweb has been discontinued. I have version 3.0.3 of iweb now but understand that there's been an update for OS 10.6 so same question goes for this update.
Will fonts change? Will layout change? Will widgets still work? Links? Will Google Analytics PlugIn still work?
(Since MobileMe is disappearing, I now save iweb site to local folder on my computer, then upload it to GoDaddy using Cyberduck. I run Google Analytics plug in on folder before its uploaded.)
My computer, MacBook Pro came with iweb, which has been updated to 3.0.3. Since iweb is discontinued, will upgrade of operating system just ignore iweb so that iweb will run the same as before? Or will it wipe it out? Or change how it currently works (questions above).

As you now know iWeb and iDVD have been discontinued by Apple. This is evidenced by the fact that new Macs are shipping with iLife 11 installed but without iWeb and iDVD.
On June 30, 2012 MobileMe will be shutdown. HOWEVER, iWeb will still continue to work but without the following:
Features No Longer Available Once MobileMe is Discontinued:
◼ Password protection
◼ Blog and photo comments
◼ Blog search
◼ Hit counter
◼ MobileMe Gallery
All of these features can be replaced with 3rd party options.
Currently if the site is published directly from iWeb to the 3rd party server the RSS feed and slideshow subscription features will work. However, if the site is first published to a folder on the hard drive and then uploaded to the sever with a 3rd party FTP client those two features will be broken.
There's another problem and that's with iWeb's popup slideshows. Once the MMe servers are no longer online the popup slideshow buttons will not display their images.

However, Roddy McKay and I have figured out a way to modify existing sites with those slideshows and iWeb itself so that those images will display as expected once MobileMe servers are gone. I found an article from Apple that specifically outlines how to try and troubleshoot this issue. It's called iPhone: Troubleshooting activation issues found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3424.
Resolution
Perform the following steps if you receive one of the messages above:
Restart the iPhone.
Try another means of reaching the activation server and attempt to activate.
Try connecting to Wi-Fi if you're unable to activate using a cellular data connection.
Try connecting to iTunes if you're unable to activate using Wi-Fi.
Restore the iPhone.
If you receive an alert message when you attempt to activate your iPhone, try to place the iPhone in recovery mode and perform a restore. If you're still unable to complete the setup assistant due to an activation error, contact Applefor assistance.

What happens if I delete a site in iweb? site still on the web? system?

B/c of my various issues i'm having since upgrading iweb, I created two test sites on iweb09. I was able to upload them to the web and to a folder.
I deleted both. Later, I created another test site with the same name (site 2). I noticed this one was acting weird.
I'm wondering what happens to the sites after they are deleted.
1. Are they available on the web?
2. Are they somewhere else on my system that I should make sure to delete?

Deleting sites inside iweb does not have any effect on what has been published on a server or to a folder on your local drive. It just changes what is in iWeb's domain file.

In the 12 months before June 30th 2012 Apple sent you multiple emails repeatedly telling you of the forthcoming closure of MobileMe and telling you how to move your site elsewhere. I guess you didn't do this?
iCloud does not offer web-hosting, so you'll have to find somewhere else to host your site. Hopefully you have a local backup of the site data, so you can easily upload it to another web host and repoint the domain to it.

Apple needs to test the carrier if they offer LTE as expected.
If your country/carrier is not on the list then there's no LTE on your iPhone.
