What happens to my App Store credit if I switch Apple ID email?
Hi. I currently have ~$30 in my App Store account. If I go to appleid.com and switch my Apple ID to a different email, and thus change App Store/iTunes login, will the credit transfer over to the new account?
For example, I have $30 in [email protected] I use this email to log into my AppleId and then I change my email to y123. When I log into [email protected] in my App Store, will the $30 be there or will it still b
If you log into your account and update the primary email address on it then neither your balance nor your previous purchases should be affected, both should be intact after the update.

Whats happening to the app store?
I can't stand it anymore! After upgrading my new iPad to iOS 6 the App Store is really slow, takes too long to load and its all buggy, sometimes I touch an app and it opens another, like the touch is locked in that place and wherever I touch it opens that app... Also, scrolling is awful, not only on the App Store but n other apps too, I don't know if its only happening to me but I'm starting to get angry with this, already restored 3 times And it didn't solve it...
Same problem here - dowloaded from App store three times - three re-starts and still no sign of 10.10.2, furthermore the installer is not showing in the Applications folder!

I have just downloaded the 10.10.2 update (for 10.10.1) from the Apple site, so I expect that the App store will now stop reminding me that there are updates to install!! -
i've done everything that they said to do but my app store won't come back i've tried resetting my ipod nothing, even the home layout nothing help me plesae it's really frustrating me
Go to Settings>General>Restrictions and see if the restriction that hides the App store/prevent purchases is set.

I don't think my app store is updating. The " new" sections still show 1 or 2 April as the latest apps. I am able to look up apps on appshopper.com then search for them and they appear though.

Can I transfer App Store credit to my alternate Apple ID?
I mistakenly redeemed gifted iTunes cards to my Apple ID used for iCloud, not the desired main one I use for iTunes, apps, sharing, etc. Therefore above ?. Appreciate any help, thanks.
Click here and ask the iTunes Store staff to put it back onto the card; they'll only do this if none of the balance has been spent.

why when i want to download a free app from app store it asks for my apple id and when i give my apple id it then says "this apple id has not yet been used in the itunes store". i dont even know what that means and it will this happen everytime?
If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.

Okay. I am totally in a bad situtation. I have IOS 6 and 2 things have gone wrong. The Music app where you have your music, is bad. I have songs and stuff. And when i touch a song nothing happens. The letters are grey and nothing happens. The app store is also a problem. The appstore on IOS 6, when im on search and i search for and app, it exits the app store in like 5 seconds. And when i first updated the IOS 6, it was still like that HELP!

Depends upon what you mean by change.
If you update your existing account to have a new primary email address then you shouldn't lose any of the account's past purchases, balance, or iCloud storage - you may have to log out of the old version of your account by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in with the updated version, and similarly for iCloud (Settings > iCloud > Sign Out).
If you create a new account then your existing account's purchases, balance and iCloud storage will remain tied to the existing account, you can't transfer them to a new account or merge the new account with the old one. -
After upgrading what happens to the apps on my 3G?
I just received my iPhone 4 and put my backup from my iPhone 3G on. It works fine, and there is no more AT&T service on my iPhone 3G. I intend to use the 3G as an iPod Touch. I understand the SIM card needs to stay in the phone for this, even though it is not activated with AT&T.
What happens to the apps that are still on my 3G? They are still working. I assume they will stay there until I need to sync. Then I will have to set up a new iTunes account, under a unique computer user name, for the 3G and buy the apps all over again for the 3G.Nope, the apps stay there until you delete them.
I currently sync 2 iPhones and 2 iPod Touch units all to one iTunes store account, and per the Apple licensing, they all can run apps I have purchased. I had a similar question as you when I first started using multiple devices, so I sent an email to the app author for the app I wanted most to do this with. His response was that this is Apple's terms, so if I didn't want to purchase a second license to use his app on a second device, then I didn't need to (but he wouldn't stop me if I wanted to either). In the end, I found this app author to be very dedicated to his app, and very responsive to my comments/requests, so I did purchase a second copy of his app (yes, I had my wife create an iTunes account and purchase it under her account). -

I'm trying to switch the iCloud accounts from an old one that's acting up to a new one that I've created. When I started to, though, I got worried because it said something about Documents as I tried to delete the iCloud account that was already there.

Why am I not allowed to buy Logic Pro X even though I have enough App Store credit to do so?
I have US$ 215 worth of giftcard credit on my account, more than enough to purchase Logic Pro X. The problem comes when I hit the "Buy app" button because it keeps getting me to update my billing info. I select "None" since I don't own a credit card, and then it tells me my purchase could not be completed due to "insufficient remaining store credit". I want to know what's going on because that money is absolutely valid to apple, it's money I spent in order to increase my iTunes/Appstore account's credit and I intend to purchase Logic Pro X with it. Help, please?
Did you redeem the gift card to your account? If so, if you log into your account information, do you actually see the gift card there? If so, you would need to contact the App Store support team.

What happened to my gift card credit?
I know how to review my purchase history in my iTunes account. But, how do I find out what happened to a gift card credit? Per my my account's purchase history, I only used $10 of a $50 gift card (assuming the culprit is NOT user error, e.g., I redeemed on the incorrect account). Can I search "payment history" in addition to purchase history? Thanks.
I am currently in 'discussion' with iTunes about this very issue. It's happened to me at least twice before when I redeemed a Gift card and didn't use the full amount. A couple of weeks later... the 'credit' was gone!
I also question as to why iTunes do NOT show gift card redemptions... VERY sus imho!!! Why dont they??!!
I have asked iTunes to provide me with a list of all my transactions for this year so I can see when, where and how my credits were used. So far the best I got was "check your account balance". They have said they will look into it from another side (ie. not via their customer support) but I will give them a week before I go to Fair Trading and make a formal complaint.
I have provided them screen shots, dates, my purchase history etc. and the numbers just dont add up. Either my credit balance expired (in the space of a couple of weeks) or someone is skimming accounts - which is on the iTunes system. Either way iTunes have a case to answer!
