What happens to my iwork docs on my ipad (Pages, Numbers, Keynote)?

I know that the iWorks beta is ending in a matter of days and all the docs we have online go bye-bye. There's nothing terribly sensitive on the server and I already have the same docs on my iPad. Does anyone know if those docs will become part of my iCloud account (if I have settings on my iPad to do that?). At minimum, if I have the same docs on my iPad and I do nothing to them and just let the iWork account expire, I still have the docs on the iPad; they will not get wiped clean.
Also, another more efficient way to transfer the files would be to do it through iTunes and get my iPad to transfer all its files to my desktop machine in iTunes. Does that make sense or am I just dreaming?

I'm kinda disappointed in Apple for not communicating this better and maybe a little annoyed at myself for not figuring this out. All of my iWorks docs are now in iWorks under my iCloud account. If they had mentioned it more explicitly in this notice here this wouldn't even be an issue. The clearly tell you to open an iCloud account, but don't tell you that all of your iWork docs are migrated over there.

What exactly did your friend do ? Did you or he take a backup of your iTunes library before updating your computer ? Have you checked to see if your music is still on your computer ? By default your iTunes library is stored under :
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\
Windows Vista: \Users\username\Music\iTunes
Windows 7 and Windows 8: \Users\username\My Music\iTunes
If it's there then you can add it to your iTunes library via File > Add To Library.
If not then do you have a copy of your library on a backup ? If you do then use File > Add To Library to add it back.
If you haven't got a backup then you might, depending upon what country that you are in and if the music is still in your country's store, be able to redownload your iTunes purchases via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage.

You can only get the profile back if you plug into a computer that has the configuration profile in Apple Configurator or get the profile wirelessly from an MDM.

Login to your iDisk on the windows machine and then click on the Home on the left.
Upload whatever documents you want access to on your iPad to your iDisk.
Once you have the desired files on your iDisk you go to the app on your iPad you wish to work with tap the sharing button (little arrow going down into a box) which will give you an "iDisk" option and you'll see the files there.

You don't. It's only free when you activate a NEW iOS device. The previous owner qualified for the free apps. You do not.
You'll have to purchase them or activate a new iOS device to qualify for the free download.

Changeing Valuation class-what happens to deleted open docs.

we are planning to change the valuation class for material. In order to change the class we would have to delete all open items that trace back to the material (PO, GR, IR). I run me2m to identify the open documents for that material.
My issue is when I reverse or delete the IR, GR, and PO what happens to the those documents.? We have documents that go back to 2007.
Do we have to recreate the PO, GR, IR after we change the class.?What are the long term effects when doing this change (Audit)?

You don't need to worry about old documents as long as they are not open.
You just need to invoice out all the open GRs or cancel all those GRs. In case of POs, you have to ensure the GR qty is equal to IR qty for each PO line, then you can mark the line as deleted so that the system will allow you to change the val. class. You also need to make the stock to zero.
Once val. Class is changed, you can undo all the above.

Quit Safari completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

What happened to the battery indicator on my ipad's lock screen?

I've noticed recently that the large green (or red, if low) battery indicator that used to appear on the lock screen when my iPad 2 was plugged in has disappeared. I have searched in vain for a setting for this, could someone point me in the right direction? It could have happened when I updated to iOS 5.0.1, but I am not quite sure the time matches up, and it seems like a silly change to make. Also, my iPhone has the battery indicator, and it's also on 5.0.1.

What happened to the range of cell fill colours in Numbers v3?. Can I get them back?

I've just upgraded to Mavericks and the latest version of numbers has the cell fill box on the right hand side margin. The colour box has a much smaller range of colours.
I'd like to put those tools back on the top bar with the original colour range. Is this possible?

I don't know how to add a tool to the toolbar. I have found that you can get the Colors Pane to display by clicking on the little color pane symbol as shown below (I don't know what to call that control).

I have "sync to iCloud" enabled on both iPad and Mac Book Pro. docs from ipad are in my iCloud account. How do i make the MBP sync to this? This is why I bought Mt. Lion

I tried to download itunes to my new laptop that run on Windows 8 64-bit but seems like the download button on the download page is just an image which is not clickable. I tried on my old laptop that run on Windows 7 Home Premium, the button still as an image which is not clickable. Anybody face the same issue? How you solve it?

In Firefox 4.0 what happened that Google is not on the opening page?

In the previous version of Firefox, the Google logo with a space for question entry was on the opening page. Now, it seems that Yahoo is the "preferred" place to go for your information. I really do miss the Google page. Of course I can access Google in other ways, but I did like the convenience of the "old way."

You can get the drop down list by either right-clicking on the back/forward buttons, or holding down the left button until the list appears.
If you want the drop-down arrow you can add it with the Back/forward dropmarker add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker
