What happens to songs that could be matched in the iTunes Store? Do they get replaced by the iTunes Store's version?
I haven´t quite understood how iTunes Match works like.
And I am wondering why only 30 out of my 600 songs now have this iCloud symbol next to it.
Anyway, what I expected iTunes Match to be is that it would give me the iTunes Store's versions of all my CD-imported songs...
I should have read further before posting. Sorry. I see reading elsewhere the option was indeed removed. Hope they bring it back. Posted feedback to that end as suggested elsewhere. Thanks.

I don't want to upload all songs not matched, not necessary and adds no value. Should be an option to skip this step and proceed after matching all songs in iTunes library
Please disregard. I found the problem. The 3 songs were duplicates so everything was synching correctly.

I am trying to download songs i recently purchased onto my ipod, they are not in my library but a seperate folder on i tunes ( dont know what happened there ) there is no cloud next to the new songs ! how on earth do sync them into my ipod. Please help

i am still unable to play or download a song that is already matched on my imac. i have gone through all of the recommended checks, author/reauthorized, turned match on/off, etc... but still asks me to locate the song, even though its already matched. granted, the file is missing on my mac, but having been matched previously, why cannot i access it to play and/or download?

not sure what happened I down loaded lion and now at the bottom I can see the lio logo and it says paused does anyone know what went wrong or what that means

Only if you are permitted to re-download it from the source. There's nothing we can suggest to help you. There is no undelete software, but there are a number of data recovery utilities like iPod Data Recovery Software | Lost / Deleted Data Recovery for iPod.

Although check the terms & conditions of whichever webhost you go for, as some may have restrictions on just using their webspace for externally linked files, rather than a website as well.
How much data transfer your podcasts use will depend on how popular they are. MobileMe webhosting allowed 200GB of data transfer per month. If you never went over that, then as long as the new host matches or exceeds that you'll be ok. -

in order to restore your songs and apps, you should just reconnect to itunes and sync your data. your phone ran a backup before it upgraded, and you can also do a restore. but the key is still to go to your itunes and sync back to your phone what you wanted there in the first place.

Try deleting the cache associated with the App Store..
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Click Go
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store. See if that made a difference. -

Hello why cant we store more then 25,000 songs that have been uploaded in the Icloud from my cd's, I'm a DJ and the purpose of getting the Icloud was not only for backup but to have access to all my music and this 25,000 song limit is not acceptable for me. I also upgraded my icloud drive to 200gb in hope that this would help, did it? I dont know as of yet, I just did it any thoughts out there??
