What has '.do' to do with Struts???

Hey, a basic struts question. Well, in the web.xml *.do url patterns are mapped to the ActionServlet. In my form, I have action="/registration" (using the html:form tag..). The request goes to ActionServlet as the uri is /registration.do How & Where & who is appending the .do to my request?

Is it possible to have few .do and a few .something mappings in my struts-config.xml
say in form1 I want to have action="/action1.do" and form2 I want to have "/action1.action" with the two mappings defined properly in the struts-config.xml. Is this totally weird? want to know if this is possible and if not why?

No, cannot revert to the original. Suddenly this new Facetime was imposed on me and it doesn't work. It's okay on a year old MacBook Pro, and it's ok in the iPhone 4S. Just not ok on the imac running on 10.6.3. Cannot try OS update suggested because I am currently 300 miles from the Mac and travelling so will have to wait until I get back. Reluctant to install mavericks because of all the complaints I have seen about incompatibilities. Appreciate the business reasons for constant OS updates, but businesses themselved would always rather remain with tried ant trusted software. I stopped using iMovie entirely because suddenly a new version was imposed that required re-leaening the whole process.

PT 8.52 - Early adopters? What has been your experience with it in Prod?

After our HR upgrade to HR 9.1 and PT 8.51 in October, 2011, there is desire to turn around and do a Tools only upgrade to PT 8.52 this spring for various reasons (iPad tablet certification, etc). I remember a 2010 OpenWorld presentation where Oracle recommended that the "sweet spot" for go-live of a new Tools version was about 12-13 months after GA. I have found that advice to be sound in the real world as well.
What is the general vibe of PT 8.52 in Production? What have been your experiences with 8.52? If you are in Production, are you either HR, FSCM or CRM?

Could someone please post or send the upgrade documentation you have followed?.
Or please, send me an URL to the upgrade documentation.
It appears that the upgrade documentation might not be complete and/or correct.
The problem:_
Your upgrade environment has a psio_dir.dll from the previous/old PT850/PT851 install.
To validate this check out the size and the date stamp of the file. It will show the year as 2009 and the size as 48KB.
THE FIX:_
Bring down your Application Server. Remove all the cache and log files.
Permanetntly REMOVE (not rename) the psio_dir.ll from *$PS_HOME/\bin\server\winx86\psio_dir.dll* from your PeopleSoft Application Server environment.
Bring up your Application Server.
If you are a developer using/doing work using Application Designer, permanently remove <PS_HOME>\bin\client\winx86\psio_dir.dll from your Application Designer machine.
This should fix your problem.

What has GoogleApps to do with BT Email

Just had an email that purports to come from ebilling @ bt.com. informing me that BT is upgrading the classic Yahoo Mail to BT GoogleApps. It invites me to "click here" to proceed with the upgrade. It is now in my junk box but thought I would warn others to beware.

Google managed to download a DMG for this app that keeps popping up with an "updates are available" notice as soon as I connect to the internet. Googling the app leads only to marketing and a few plaintive queries as yet unanswered about how to remove it. So far I have not been able to locate it on my computer to uninstall. I can locate it in "search" where it is identified as being in "Documents" but so far I cannot find it. I am planning to start a separate thread to ask how to locate and remove it via Terminal.

What has changed with 1.0.1?

I have looked at the iWeb section of apple.com and have not been able to find anything close to explaining what has been changed/fixed with the new release (1.0.1)
Does anyone know if release notes are available anywhere?
Or we to just assume by trial and error what has been changed/fixed?

Apple's release notes are very meagre. They just say:iWeb 1.0.1 update addresses issues related to publishing, blogs and other issues.
These include:
Page names and numbering
.Mac slideshow image loading
Photocast icon and Photocast URL
Movie preview
In my experience so far, the following are noticeable:
It's now sufficient to use http://web.mac.com/membername to access your iWeb site.
Uploading to .Mac is quicker. Login doesn't take as long, uploading begins sooner, uploading is more intelligent in terms of being really limited to changed pages only.
Thumbnails on Photo pages are now in JPG format rather than PNG. Smaller files, quicker load times.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Tabbing isn't working on my Firefox 3.6.10. I am pretty sure it has something to do with something that has been added, but I have no idea what. How do I find what has stopped my tabbing from working?

Your above posted system details show multiple Java Console extensions.
You can uninstall (remove) the Java Console extensions and disable the Java Quick Starter extension as you do not need them to run Java applets.

Once you successfully add you iTunes library to iTunes Match, you go to Settings>iTunes & App Store on your iOS device and turn on iTunes Match. Your iTunes Match library will then appear on your iOS device.

A much simpler solution would be to go into Settings > Store and turn off Automatic Downloads
