What HDD is compatible with Xserve Intel?

I want to replace my three internal hard drives as this server has been running non-stop for 6 years. I want one 500Gb and two 1TB drives.
The ADMs work great but I don't know what to buy or where.
Any help out there?

You have some hard drives compatible with the Xserve in OWC > http://eshop.macsales.com/Search/Search.cfm?Ntk=Primary&Ns=P_Price%7c0&Ne=8056&N =6900+4294962046&Ntt=toshiba If you have a different Xserve, choose the one you have at the left side of the page

I've got a late 2009 mac mini with a 320gb hard drive and I want to upgrade it to a 1tb drive or bigger. What HDDs are compatible with my mini?
Because of the price I'm not interested in solid state drives, unless of course you want to send me $1,000.
I've already got external drives but I take my mini back and forth to work and don't want to carry those drives with me.
I'm not interested in buying a laptop. My mini works great so why waste $1,000 or more when I can buy a 1 to 3 TB hdd for under $300 and have exactly what I want. My late 2009 Mac Mini with a large hdd.
I went to Crucial's website and they can't tell me what drives fit my Mac Mini. That's where I got my ram (8GB). I'm ONLY interested in name brand quality HDDs.

The limiting factor in your 2009 mini is the max 9.5mm drive thickness.
One of the largest capacity 2.5" drives that meets this criteria is the HGST (formerly Hitachi) at 1.5GB
Any reputable SATA HDD you can find that is not thicker then this 9.5mm will work.

  • What HDDs are compatible with Equium L300-146

    Hi,
I want to upgrade my hard drive, but I'm unsure about what to choose.
Can someone tell me what would be a good choice? I'm thinking somewhere around 320G.
    thanks

    Hi
All SATA 2.5 HDDs should be compatible since there is not hardware limitation of SATA HDD controller.
So theoretically you could take a 500GB 2.5 SATA HDD.
    Cheers

    Is this the new Mini?
Most any Thunderbolt, HDMI, DVI, or VGA monitor will work with the new Mini, though many problems exist with the HDMI port it seems.

  • What hardware is compatible with the MAC OS

Other than the MAC hardware available from Apple, what hardware is compatible with the Mac OS? Is there any AMD compatible hardware or other Intel 64 bit hardware that is compatible with the OS?
Like the Mac Pro but ...   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    Hi Boing;
If you feel that way, you are out of luck. Besides not working well at all, it is illegal.

    Hi,
Compatible processors for your notebook ( and the replacement procedure ) is detailed on Page 81 of your Maintenance & Service Guide.
Considering the speed of your current processor, it would look like the first Four are Ok - I would always recommend checking this with HP first before purchasing.

  • What SSD is compatible with my PC?

Hi, Someone told me upgrading my HDD To A SSDrive will boost my computer performance. I'm thinking of buying a SSD for my computer, I have an all in one HP IQ 504 computer, its has gone slow but still working and can run normal when optimzied. My question is, Am not really sure what SSD is compatible with my computer and i only have a budget of $300, Are there any good SSDrive i could buy for $100-$300? How do i know if its compatible with my PC? This is the Computer i am using right now: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-TouchSmart-Desktop-PC-series/3733137/model/3752238 is an all ine one pc, i bought 6-7 years ago and at this moment i have Window 10 Operating System installed on it... Thanks you for any helpful answer!

See pages 12-22 of the Manual here: Service Manual Your computer uses full size 3.5 inch wide hard drive as for a desktop. SSDs are 2.5 inches wide and thinner. You would have to get a 3.5 inch to 2.5 inch adapter and an SSD. But any current model SSD will work fine and your budget is plenty to get a good one. A 500 or 512 gig SSD is under $200 now. I remommend the Samsung 850 Evo line of SSDs.  adapter SSD Not sure whatever other questions you may have. If you need help moving or reinstalling software let us know. This is a good time to do this with Windows 10 just coming out.  If this is "the Answer" please click "Accept as Solution" to help others find it.

  • What printers are compatible with airport extreme

What printers are compatible with Airport Extreme so my PC, I-Phone and I-pad can all print wirelessly?
    Thanks

You can only use AirPrint-capable printers to print from your devices > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356

What cameras are compatible with the I pad?

With the camera connection kit you're able to plug in regular SD cards with one adapter, while the second adapter does include a USB port to plug your camera in. I just remember reading that "most cameras" are compatible.

What printers are compatible with the airport extreme?

Virtually any wireless printer will work just fine as well as a printer that connects using Ethernet. If you are looking at an All-in-One type of device....all functions like print, scan, copy, maintenance, etc will be supported.
If you are looking at USB devices, Apple does not provide a list of compatible models, so It is difficult to say with certainly what will work and what will not. In general, most USB printers will work.
But....very important....if you are looking at an All-in-One USB device, you need to keep in mind that only the print function will work when the device is connected to the USB port on the AirPort Extreme. Scan, copy, fax, maintenance, etc. will not be supported.
Bottom line...if you are looking at an All-in-One device and you need all of the functions, you need to choose a device that connects using wireless only or Ethernet, not USB.

  • What cameras  are compatible with the camera connection kit

what cameras are compatible with the camera connection kit and ipad2

I also recently bought the camera kit and found that it worked fine as long as you don't format the SD card using PC. Once I re-formatted using my camera I could once again upload my photos. that was until I switched formats to Adobe RAW, it seemed unable to upload again. So I switched to S RAW and that worked fine. Sometimes my kit won't upload photos but I find that by just re-inserting the card it works fine.
Haven't tried video yet, but I recently learned that the devices are quit sensitive to the "Format"(that needs to be FAT32, or exFAT- but in this instance it needs to be formatted by a Mac).
    Good luck

  • What joysticks are compatible with the MacPro please?

What joysticks are compatible with the MacPro please?

average typical games on the Mac.
    Well, That narrows it......
Many games simply rely on mouse control via alternate USB device.
In OS X, joystick to mouse control may be of interest:
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/391977?start=0&tstart=0
The mentioned USB Overdrive will enable that which many devices can't do in OS X and have separate drivers for in Windows.
BTW, I use a Logitech with many average, typical games on a Mac.......

  • What monitors are compatible with MacBook Pro 13"?

Apart from Apple Cinema, what monitors are compatible with my new MacBook Pro 13"? I need something less expensive than an Apple Cinema monitor, but large enough to reduce my neck/eye strain.
I understand that it has something to do with Thunderbolt.
I am looking at a Benq 27 " LED monitor.

Any monitor that you can adapt a mini-displayport to (for these applications mini-displayport is compatible with thunderbolt).  For example HDMI, VGA, single link DVI and dual link DVI.  With DVI you need the dual link if the monitor resolution is greater than 1920 x 1200.

  • Which HDD is compatible with HP 120W Advanced Docking station (NZ222AA)

Please tell me which HDD is compatible with integrated SATA upgrade bay of the HP 120W Advanced Docking Station (NZ222AA).. I can't find the info neither in user's manual nor at HP site. Thanks in advance.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    Hi,
    Please check this:
While neither station can be upgraded, both feature an upgrade bay that allows you to install an extra hard drive. If you choose to install the extra drive, you will add additional gigabytes to your current laptop storage space. However, if you choose to take advantage of the extra space, a standard hard drive will not fit in the upgrade bay. HP offers a 500GB hard drive specifically designed for the upgrade bay on the 120W and 230W; you would need to order the upgrade hard drive through HP.

  • What apps are compatible with on old iPod touch?

What apps are compatible with on old iPod touch? Running iOS 4

To more easily find compatible apps:
iOSSearch - search the iTunes store for compatible apps.
Apple Club - filter apps by iOS version.
App Store: Downloading Older Versions of Apps on iOS - Apple Club
App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app
You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.
